Please FG should understand that I am a 28yrs(f) Hnd2(since 2020) Nigerian, with a worried/concerned mom.

Too much request. While some are asking genuinely others are asking out of greed. From experience, I know average number of Nigerians make false claims about being broke. On the contrary, their bank accounts says otherwise.

Ask with conscience. Everyone has something to give. It doesn't have to be money. You can give your time, service etc. Freely.

I need a lady to clean my house, do my laundry then prepare meals for the weekend and a guy to run errands and cut grasses free.

For common 5k, see how this guy is spoiling his name/image. Money that won't even last a day for some folks. Even if it is plenty money... Why can't we fear God? Why do we make people afraid of transacting business with us?

For me, I have learnt my lesson. Something similar happened to me but not online. I had to threaten to get my money back and of course it wasn't complete. I have learnt to always get what I want before any payment no matter who the seller is or no matter how friendly. Most Nigerians are so untrustworthy when it comes to money.

Don't mind that fvcked up guy.

Just to show you how greedy the scammer is, he admitted to have gotten that amount but insisted I complete the money for the phone and that wasn't our agreement. Right now, he's using the excuse of me bringing it on to Nairaland not to refund it.

I pleaded with him to gift me the phone since things are not really going on fine with me and he agreed.
The only money agreement we had was on the delivery and I asked him how much that was going to cost me and he told me #1500 i.e 1k to bring it down to Oshogbo and #500 for his transport.

Everything turned upside down when I called and he asked for the balance. I was surprised and then, I had to remind him of the discussion we had earlier on. After listening to me, he said he can't do such a thing and that I should forward the guy's details to him to make a refund of the money. Till this moment, he hasn't done anything.
