Hello house, I had earlier booked an interview appointment date scheduled for May 19, 2023. I am trying to schedule an emergency date because my school resumes on January 3, 2023, but I can’t find my appointment on the website when I logged in to request for emergency date. It keeps showing that “No appointment is currently scheduled.” What do I do about this please? How do I go about it? Thanks for your swift responses.

jaydave: It was stated in the procedural fairness letter that I’m owing and that’s what’s giving them concerns. And I only answered yes that I’ve been refused and the reason I gave is just simply “Improper documentations”. Though, I’ve responded to them but waiting for them to get back to me. God abeg oo!!! |

bepositive11: Trust me, I am not sleeping truly. I haven’t slept up to 20hrs since I received this letter on Saturday. Now this is the issue here: I already have UK ban due to an agent’s stupidity. I applied for a visit visa in 2019 and submitted my original bank statement but guess what? The bastard went to fudge a statement which I didn’t know about, it resulted to UK giving me 10 years ban and this year’s December would make it 3 years. And due to my own stupidity, I trusted another agent with the visit visa to Canada in 2020 and the application fee was reversed back to him and I didn’t know about it until now. Now that this my current study application that I did by myself is about to work out, but that silly error on the 2020 application is about to ruin my chance and a possible ban too. My wife would be relocating to the UK next week Thursday (exactly a week today) as a registered nurse, we haven’t been able to have a good time together since I received this procedural fairness letter. I look at my wife that we just got married last month and I want to express my feelings on how much I would miss her but damn!!! Something inside of me is killing me so badly that I can’t even express my feelings and our excitement for her new job in the UK and her departure is affected as a family, obviously my laughter and smiles are forced and unreal because I’m hurting inside and she knows. We now have to start looking at UK for me again. God please, I come before you with Matthew 7:7-8 that says, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” Please, wipe our tears and answer all our prayers, open the doors of Canada to us all on this platform through Jesus Christ your only son. SoftdudeKay: Please, is it still possible for visa application to be approved after receiving a “Procedural Fairness” letter? Has anyone on here gotten a “Procedural Fairness” letter and his/her application was still approved? Though I have responded to it accordingly but I’m really concerned. Please advise! 1 Like |

skentelelady: Thanks again ma’am. Please, do I need to open a dollar account with GTB before getting the prepaid dollar card? Access bank just opened my dollar account today and I’m hoping to go to the bank tomorrow to get a card. But I’m a case where I can’t pay with the card from access bank, hence, the need to get the prepaid dollar card from GTB. Advise ma’am. |

skentelelady: Thanks for your advice ma’am. Yes I have the payment confirmation page generated from the IRCC portal then which I took for my biometrics then, so I’m attaching it along. I think the use of representative they were referring to is for the old application and not the new application because they asked me to information/documents with the new payment, “and an explanation as to why you did not declare your representative (accompanied with a “Use of Representative” form), if applicable.“ that means if I’m going to tell them someone did the application for me. So now, I have to stand on it that I did it myself because the Canada based representative I contracted only sent to me a consent form and they didn’t mention it. See attachment below ⬇️ please. 1 Share

JustMellow: Thanks for sharing bros. Please read the attachment and help me understand better the last paragraph (“and an explanation as to why you did not declare your representative (accompanied with a “Use of Representative” form), if applicable.“) if the use of representative they mentioned here is for my previous application that’s giving me issues now. If so, the agent didn’t mention it so I don’t need to mention it to them. Let it not be that I am confusing it for the new application because what the paid representative in Canada sent to me is “Consent Form”. And please, what was the outcome for the ones that were not banned? Please and thanks sir.

msbaileyz: Please, is your case a case of agent? Because after submitting my current study permit application by myself in July, I now contacted Canadian based licensed representative (agent) in September, and he gave me a consent form that I signed, but it wasn’t declared in my application because I had submitted already. And now they asked me to explain why I didn’t declare that in my application and that I should send them the “use of representative” form which I believe is the consent form. Please share and advise. Thanks. |

bepositive11: Please, I need urgent assistance and advice. I applied for tourist visa in March 2020 (before the lockdown) through an agent here in Nigeria, and there was no update on the application. So, I applied for study visa in July this year by myself. I have been waiting to get response from the IRCC and I just got a response on Saturday saying there was a request from me (that’s my agent) to my bank that the application fee (my previous application) should be refunded. Now I have to provide valid point in 15 days as to why I requested for the refund and I need to pay the $185CAD. The payment isn’t the problem, but I contacted the agent and obviously, he knows about it but claimed he didn’t make the payment from his card, that someone else made the payment for him, and he’s not been able to reach the person. NOTE: the agent didn’t use the “Use of Representative” form. The agent got back to me yesterday saying the person he contacted to help make the payment has finally responded to him, claiming that the application fee was reversed. I’ve requested him to get a bank letter showing that it was a reversal in error from the bank but he’s not giving me any hope of doing that. I don’t know yet to figure out how to go about this case properly and what evidence to attach to my explanation. As it is now, I only have the application fee payment receipt with me. Also, the last paragraph of my second attachment says “and an explanation as to why you did not declare your representative (accompanied with a “Use of Representative” form), if applicable.” After submitting my application in July, I contacted a Canadian based Representative (agent) in September to help find out what was wrong with my application and he sent me the Consent form to sign, which I did. But it was not declared when I was applying because I did the application by myself, and I think now they are asking about that. Please advise.

Benquip: That’s why I did this current study visa application by myself. That means but the agent didn’t use the Use of Representative Form, and the Visa Officer requested for it here. He said I should attach it if I used it. How do I deal with this? NOTE THAT: it must have been stated in the option he (the agent) chose then that I am not using an agent. So this simply means I’m lying to them. Advise please. |

technix: Thanks for your advice. They are really not even talking about the payment now but asking why I have requested for the refund and the agent didn’t submit any Use of Representative Form, meaning that I did the application by myself. Then I have to provide reasons for requesting my financial institution to charge back (refund) the fund. I just don’t know what to do. |

johnstan: Good! I raised that topic because I’ve seen that many people are being told on here that it means they are processing or they’ve completed that stage already when it doesn’t show any time stamp. Just like when the eligibility is showing the same thing and some people will still tell you they have done your eligibility. Thanks for sharing too. 1 Like |

Hi lovely and blessed family, I have a concern please. I actually didn’t pay attention to the information on my application status when I newly submitted my application then not until later. So, I am unable to differentiate between the messages on each of the steps if it was the same as of when I submitted newly. For instance, “We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.” Can someone please tell me what could have been the message there at the initial stage of submission instead of this. Let us not just be mistaking their information and misinform or misguide ourselves because, if this is still the same message it shows just immediately after submitting an application, then we can’t say they’re processing or they’ve completed the step. Kindly differentiate please if you have the information. Thanks for the clarification. |
