And how will Nigeria fulfill that responsibility.
Is it by electing people that are so corrupt and also into criminal state capture as president.
Nigeria is already fulfilling that responsibility under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

One of those dem bad belle was hoping Senegal will defeat our girls because of his hatred for Nigeria. I no go mention him moniker him go come see how our Tigress take devour Senegal. God no go shame us!!!

Modified: Take a look at the score in the 4th Quarter. Senegal was leading by 63 - Nigeria 57. That is 8 points lead, it's interesting that Senegal was only able to add only 5 points more while Nigeria added 18 points to win. That is truly an art of champions.

St Lucia came to lime light when Julian Alfred won the Gold Medal in the 100m race with all humility against the American.

Nigeria has a burden of responsibility on her shoulders to carry not only the black race to greater heights but humanity at large.

Politics › Re: Atiku's Aide Reacts After A Musician Composed A Song Telling Atiku To Step Aside by Softmirror: 6:29am On Aug 03, 2025
Atiku would have been President if he had been patient enough in PDP throwing all his support on Jonathan. I sincerely see no reason why he wouldn't have succeeded Jonathan had he remained in PDP. As it stands, it is game over for Atiku. You see in this life if you don't know when to wait and when to run away you will live an unfulfilled life.

ADC has nothing to offer let us tell ourselves the simple and obvious truth. The other truth is this, without bias or sentiment Tinubu's chances of winning 2027 election remains the brightest of them all even if Atiku and Obi stand side by side. Tinubu will still win because obviously that momentum is not just there except friction.

Any wise politician will be on the negotiation table with Tinubu right now to ally with him so as to be a part of his victory and position his or herself on the pedestal of gains and not loss.

How insecurity challenges drastically changed for the better within just 2 years after Gov Uba Sani took over from El-Rufai is one of the wonders of the North.

A major reason why the people of Southern Kaduna are giving their every support for Tinubu and Gov Uba Sani.

Politics › Re: Why Has The North Started Mocking Tinubu 2 Years To The Election? by Softmirror: 10:08pm On Aug 02, 2025
Igbophobia:
We all witnessed 8 years of Buhari's incompetence without mockery on his person by the northerners. But with just 2 years of trial and error, Tinubu's incompetence is already a thing of mockery to the northerners. Is it because they're aware there's nothing like the 'south' that they have already started giving him the Jonathan treatment?
When Buhari dead, the only part of the country that saw some people jubilating in public was places in the North.

When Buhari was President he had Northerners who criticized him. What I really don't understand is how some people Northerners to the God they worship.

Politics › Re: British React To Kemi Badenoch No Longer Identifying As Nigerian by Softmirror: 9:33pm On Aug 02, 2025
Topman7:
According to the UK Guardian newspaper,

''Badenoch is often disdainful about Nigeria and describes it like a fever dream. Whereas other Black British MPs have celebrated their heritage, Badenoch is less interested in doing so. Interestingly, when she was trying to break into politics in 2010, Badenoch played up her background and appealed to Nigerian voters in the UK to help her get into office and “support a Nigerian who is trying to improve our national image”. Good times.

“She lived in Nigeria until she was 16,” Eromo says, but the country is mostly absent from her public identity. She rarely shares fond memories of the food or culture she grew up in. Badenoch has mostly described Nigeria as a cautionary tale that has shaped her politics – she told the Daily Mail that she did not want the UK to “become like the place I ran away from”.......

Badenoch also claimed she had a “very rough” upbringing in Nigeria, but she was “definitely middle class or lower upper class”, Eromo says. Badenoch attended the prestigious International School of Lagos, and is the daughter of a doctor and a respected lecturer. The former vice-president Yemi Osinbajo is her maternal first cousin once removed.

https://www.theguardian.com/news/2024/nov/06/the-long-wave-kemi-badenoch-tory-leader-nigeria

......

As you can see, Kemi Badenoch is just a deceitful, lying Nigerian middle class/upper class girl born with a silver spoon in her mouth, who LIED about growing up rough and poor in Nigeria, and used ORDINARY struggling Nigerians in the UK to climb the political ladder there, and has now thrown them under the bus, trashes the country before her white masters, and ignores Nigerian officials etc.

What a disgrace of a person.

And she is using the experience to gain sympathy and be more popular towards wimming the UK PM election.
She is just wasting her time displaying how unintelligent she is.

In 1953 during the Nigeria constitution conference, delegates from the Eastern Region made it clear that they regarded Lagos as a “no-man's land”.

The descendants of those delegates continue to repeat the same propaganda, even though they claim their parents never told them anything.

The phrase "Lagos is no man's land" was coined and first used publicly by the former governor of Lagos state, Alhaji Lateef Jakende.
A Yoruba man
Yesterday a certain Yoruba lady by the name Kemi said publicly that she no more identify as a Nigerian but guess what?!

But then, you people's obssesion with Lagos really needs a psychiatrist evalution.

Lastly, you didn't tell us the context by which Jakande said the above phrase.
