Politics › Re: Chat GPT Answers Why Yoruba People Prostrate So Much To Society Gatekeepers by Softmirror: 6:34pm On Aug 01, 2025 |
This is a photo of the then British Prime Minister, Theresa May, kneeling to greet Prince William on Thursday, August 9, 2018, when the Prince of Wales was still third in line to the throne. With the death of Queen Elizabeth II, He is now second in line. By age she is twenty five years older than Prince William.
The act of kneeling or bowing down to greet the Head of State of a country and worthy elders does not strip you of your dignity. It only shows that you are a cultured person.
Chief Olusegun Obasanjo is the longest-serving Nigerian leader, yet he prostrates flat to greet the Ooni of Ife and the Olu of Warri. Biodun Oyebanji is the Governor of Ekiti. Nevertheless, he prostrated flat on his stomach to greet Chief Afe Babalola. Wizkid did the same for King Sunny Ade.
Are you better than them? No wonder you are where you are!
Do not let them gaslight you. The Super Falcons acted in a most dignified manner by kneeling to greet President Bola Tinubu. Only uncultured and uncouth people consider such a civilised and virtuous action as undignified.

favour32: Nigeria dey complain say low milk yield. How cows go produce high yield milk wey dem dey waka up and down? This is the reason for the establishment of a separate ministry of livestock. Guess what, I have some friends from some African countries and Europe who are working in Nigeria as expatriates. Anytime, we order food food, I notice that they don't order for beef. I became curious to know the reason why. These friends or have never eaten our beef in Nigeria. When I asked them the reason why, they said the cows they see in Nigeria can only be seen in their vertinaries. That our cows look so sick to care to have a taste of one. It was food for thought for me. How can our cows look well nourished when they are left to roam about, from Sokoto to Lagos inside of the Ranch system more so Nigeria doesn't rank any where when it comes to countries exporting cattles so why all the killings in the name of Fulani Heardsmen because of cows that are mostly sick. |

Commonsesically, can a full-fledged member of PDP, LP or any other party aspire to be president under ADC? That person must form another INEC to do so. Don't mind them. They know, they are just making fun of themselves. Confused commotion. |

Was the ref right?

Sports › Re: WAFCON: CAF Reportedly Sacks Referees Director by Softmirror: 5:25pm On Aug 01, 2025 |
obinna58: The debate was that the Nigerian player’s hand was in a natural position, had nothing to do with the Moroccan player
That’s the standard fifa gave football world the direction should sue caf The debate is the ball touched the Moroccan hand prior. Why did the referee change her decision. Of course she would have stood her ground and not take any instruction from the VAR. What you should know is that, even in an unatural position penalties can still be awarded depending on interpretation. Unnatural Position: A handball offense also occurs if a player touches the ball with their hand or arm when it has made their body unnaturally bigger, and this position is not a consequence of or justifiable by the player's specific body movement in that situation. |

The way they would have hyped him up would suprise anyone who care about ethical societal standards for a better society and country. You would have been reading articles from them like “ Lawrence Anini the gold standards of criminality in Nigerian politics” once he is vying for elections. They don’t care about good governance as long as the person is from their side That is why Igbos are different. Igbos call a spade a spade. It got nothing to do with Nigeria winning Morocco but an overall assessment of the tournament. That wasnt a penalty. The ball had hit a Moroccan player before hitting ours.
Let us ask, what is the penalty for the laser beam been flashed on our players?!
Look at the expression on the faces of our players when the ball hit the Moroccan player around her elbow.
NIGERIA WON MOROCCO FAIR AND SQUARE.

And culture in itself changes over time. This acknowledges the dynamic nature of culture, it is not static. Cultures evolve due to technology, globalization, migration, education, conflict, and generational shifts. According to you even when it is public knowledge that it rises it's head when people chose to marry in where it is being practiced. Many about to get married got it cancelled as a result. |
