Go and watch the first movies of major super heroes, they don't show all the skills and powers at once. Everything (skills, tactics, gadgets etc) comes out gradually.

You already know what black panther can do from Captain America civil war movie, they needed to introduce the black panther character and culture better to people who don't know or are not conversant with the character but I guess you weren't thinking towards that direction?
