Six ways to stay safe from the dreaded MONKEY
POX 1. Avoid wearing monkey jackets. 2. Avoid Chinese Films especially 'Snake in The Monkey's Shadow. 3. If you love playing football, please avoid 'Monkey Post' for now until after the 2018 World Cup in Russia. 4. Avoid that alcoholic concoction called "Monkey tail" 5. Don't ever use the phrase 'Monkey no fine but im mama like am' else the pox will come upon you like a Hurricane. 6. Don't ever allow any of your children to be jumping up and down like a monkey, else dem go catch am o! It is better they jump like antelopes or any other animal. Please spread 2 save lives. |

just like what happen in last month in Mexico The quake coincidentally occurred on the 32nd anniversary of the 1985 Mexico City earthquake, which killed around 10,000 people. The 1985 quake was commemorated, and a national earthquake drill was held, at 11 a.m. local time, just two hours before the 2017 earthquake.[8][9] Twelve days earlier, the even larger 2017 Chiapas earthquake struck 650 km (400 mi) away, off the coast of the state of Chiapas.[10] |

IGBO BUSINESS DOMINATION IN OIGBO BUSINESS DOMINATION IN OYO TOWN Omo Iya Kunmi, the concern you raised yesterday about Igbo businessmen buying up family houses along major roads in Oyo and dominating business generally in Oyo will be answered this way: 1) Igbos are Nigerian Jews. They are great hustlers, shrewd and determined. I guess in Igboland, the wave of expectation for a male child especially to be financially successful is very high. How many Oyo males can seek to earn a living by hawking meat pies, stick meat, pull carts or have the determination to start a business with #50,000? 2) I know of a very wealthy Igboman in Oyo who is in fact the No 1 in property acquisition in the town (among Igbos). He sells motorcycles, spare parts and generators. One day, I went to his shop to buy a generator. After the deal was concluded, he himself carried the generator to the roadside where my vehicle was parked. He did not wear starched clothes looking pompous on a puffed seat. He wore a shirt with tattered polo and works his socks off everyday (not that he doesn't dress well when the occasion demands though). Meanwhile I had known him since he was an apprentice in a shop opposite Catholic Church, Asogo, several years ago. He is a self-made man. I don't think he is worth less than #300 million now. 3) The average Oyo businessman who is worth up to #5 million will most likely no longer stay in his shop or office. He don turn to "Megida". He will leave his shop for the 'boys' to manage while he saunters around in clean automobiles. 4) We have knack for ostentatious lifestyles in Oyo. "Afe aye" it is called. Males and females, we love to be spick and span. Many will read this piece who are supposedly unemployed but still spend around #100,000 yearly on new clothes and fashion assessories. Meanwhile, an Igboman will look to turn #100,000 to #300,000 within a year. He may have just two shirts, two jeans and two Sunday clothes. I know of people who prefer to 'invest' serious money in personal luxuries when the money would have given them solid footholds in life. 5) We, unlike Igbos, don't take business risks. That is why someone will invest #20 million in a filling station that employs just 5 people when an Igboman will invest the same sum in ventures that will have a greater number of employees or beneficiaries. 6) About family houses being sold off to Igbos, I think that has to do with individual family set up. If a wider family is so fragmented that members cannot co-develop family property, the next option is sale particularly when poverty stares them in the face. We need to have a different orientation to the issue of employment, entrepreneurship and investments. May God guide our steps.YO TOWN Omo Iya Kunmi, the concern you raised yesterday about Igbo businessmen buying up family houses along major roads in Oyo and dominating business generally in Oyo will be answered this way: 1) Igbos are Nigerian Jews. NwaAmaikpe:In case you don't know Ewedu is a very popular leaf in the world , when you type "EWEDU" on wikipedia the result is this Corchorus is a genus of about 40–100 species of flowering plants in the family Malvaceae, native to tropical and subtropical regions throughout the world.[1] Different common names are used in different contexts, with jute applying to the fiber produced from the plant, and mallow-leaves for the leaves used as a vegetable. |

Edu3Again:MARRIAGE OF AISHA (R.A) AT 9 YEARS OLD. This is so STRANGE why?. I checked one page on Facebook our brothers were busy arguing with Christians about the age of our Mother Aisha (R.A) and many of us can't defend ourselves on this issue but let me make it clear. While the disbelievers were busy calling HIM (Prophet PBUH) a Pedophile. The Muslims were busy faulting Sahih Bukhari so as to "cover-up" the issue. The aged were like: that's extremism. Aisha (RadiAllahu Anha) said, I was given in marriage to the Rasuulullah (SAW) when I was 6yrs old, and he consummated the marriage when I was 9 (Bukhari). Rather than calling it a da'eef hadith, to please your non-Muslim friends who are insulting your Rasoolullah (SAW), just be silent, or ask the scholars and read more about Seerah and perhaps Allah may grant you the Hikmah (Wisdom) behind it. Have you ever asked yourself? Why is it that during the days of Quraysh, they called the Rasulullah (SAW): Magician, madman, and the likes but NEVER called him a Pedophile if this accusation was true? They never raised any question about his marriage to Aisha (R.A), why? Because it was NORMAL at that time, girls at that age were suitable for marriage at that time, did you know: -Saint Augustine (350AD) married a 10 year old girl! -King Richard 11 (1400AD) he married a 7yr old girl. -King Henry Viii (1500AD) he married a 5yrs old girl. Even in the BIBLE it says: ....But save for yourself every girl who has never slept with a man (numbers 31. 17:28). According to the catholic encyclopedia, Mary the mother of Jesus was 12 when she married the 99 years old Joseph. Before 1929, church of england ministers could marry 12yrs old girls in Britain. . Up till 1983, catholic canon laws permitted priests to marry off brides at the age of 12. In the United States, back in 1880, in the state of Delaware, the minimum age for marriage was 7yrs and in California it was 10. . So Aisha (RadiAllahu Anha) was NOT a child when she was married! We live in a society where good is condemned at every slight opportunity but evil is encouraged even when its flaws are crystal clear. How strange The Nigerian constitution says: An 18yrs old can vote An 18yrs old can go to jail An 18yrs old can contest for political positions An 18yrs old can travel outside d country all alone. . And YET, an 18yrs old can't marry? But our 12yrs old Girls are having boyfriends ! . Did u know? When Sofiyyah bint Huyay was married to the Muhammed (SAW), she was just 17yrs old? And that was her THIRD marriage She was initially married to Salam ibn abi Haqiq and later to Kinanah ibn abi Haqiq! Imagine how old she was during her first marriage? Are you clarified now? Those still doubtful, Go back to your village and ask your grandmother how old she was when she got married!. *Islam is perfect while Muslims are not* May Allah (SWT) always give us ability to overcome every challenges in this life and the hereafter. Ameeen. |
