From what I learnt about Jabata recently, he is a Jaahil muraqqab. A Jaahil that is ignorant, and he is ignorant of the fact that he is ignorant. His aqeedah tends much more towards that of the Khawarij than that of the Salaf As-salih.

I have just been refunded. I don't know if it is because i contacted them because they didn't reply. But all is good now, I will go withdraw the money and buy the credit instead.

last year December, a friend in Abuja introduce me to ginger business in his Village, he his from southern Kaduna and a bag then sold for #18,500 and i invested #260,000 in the business after i had lost some hundreds of thousand naira in MMM.
Fast forward to this year the price of ginger dropped to #15,000 to #12,000 and now #6,000 per bag. I told he to sell it since September at that price because i needed the money, and i have been transfered from Abuja where i work to Gombe State. My problem is that he his not picking my calls, MMM dealt with me and now this. A friend advice me to report the matter to police, but i dont want police come today, come tomorrow story since i am staying far from Abuja.
Pls guys what is your say on this matter.

If your ginger is still available, go pack it and move it to somewhere safe.

If it's not, which I suspect, demand that he pays you for everything at the price you bought it else you threaten to take him to court. Even if he will pay you in monthly instalments, do not refuse.

This I believe is better than involving the police. Besides, it's more of a civil case.

You will get more attention and possibly buyers if you do the following:
1. Upload pictures of your products.
2. Put a price tag
2. Include your location.

2nd, I don't say what I don't have first hand knowledge of. I have never heard of the name Jabata till this week. So I never accused that Jabata dude of calling Imaam Nawawi a kaafir. Maybe someone else did. You just added more light in publicising your confusion for you don't know who say what.

I would have even avoided responding to this. But for the benefit of those reading this thread, am gonna give a little highlight. And it's up to them to judge whether or not you guys are heavily inclined towards the Khawarij sect.

It is a well known fact to the people of knowledge that the Kharijite ideology is built upon the following evil tenets:

1. Declaring Muslims to be unbelievers.

2. Rejecting lawful obedience to the rulers.

3. Justifying violence against Muslims and innocent people and also justifying the killing of whoever goes against them.

In his book, Shaykhul Islam, Ibn Taymiyyah stated:

ﻭَﺍﻟْﺨَﻮَﺍﺭِﺝُ ﻫُﻢْ ﺃَﻭَّﻝُ ﻣَﻦْ ﻛَﻔَّﺮَ ﺍﻟْﻤُﺴْﻠِﻤِﻴﻦَ ﻳُﻜَﻔِّﺮُﻭﻥَ ﺑِﺎﻟﺬُّﻧُﻮﺏِ ، ﻭَﻳُﻜَﻔِّﺮُﻭﻥَ ﻣَﻦْ ﺧَﺎﻟَﻔَﻬُﻢْ ﻓِﻲ ﺑِﺪْﻋَﺘِﻬِﻢْ ﻭَﻳَﺴْﺘَﺤِﻠُّﻮﻥَ ﺩَﻣَﻪُ ﻭَﻣَﺎﻟَﻪُ ﻭَﻫَﺬِﻩِ ﺣَﺎﻝُ ﺃَﻫْﻞِ ﺍﻟْﺒِﺪَﻉِ ﻳَﺒْﺘَﺪِﻋُﻮﻥَ ﺑِﺪْﻋَﺔً ﻭَﻳُﻜَﻔِّﺮُﻭﻥَ ﻣَﻦْ ﺧَﺎﻟَﻔَﻬُﻢْ ﻓِﻴﻬَﺎ ﻭَﺃَﻫْﻞُ ﺍﻟﺴُّﻨَّﺔِ ﻭَﺍﻟْﺠَﻤَﺎﻋَﺔِ ﻳَﺘَّﺒِﻌُﻮﻥَ ﺍﻟْﻜِﺘَﺎﺏَ ﻭَﺍﻟﺴُّﻨَّﺔَ ﻭَﻳُﻄِﻴﻌُﻮﻥَ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪَ ﻭَﺭَﺳُﻮﻟَﻪُ ﻓَﻴَﺘَّﺒِﻌُﻮﻥَ ﺍﻟْﺤَﻖَّ ﻭَﻳَﺮْﺣَﻤُﻮﻥَ ﺍﻟْﺨَﻠْﻖَ

His statement can be translated as:

"The Kharijite sect was the first to declare Muslims to be unbelievers because of their sins. They charged as unbelievers whoever disagreed with their innovations and they made lawful the spilling of blood and the taking of wealth. This is the condition of the people of innovation, that they invent some religious innovation and then they excommunicate whoever disagrees with them concerning it. Rather, the people of the Sunnah and the community follow the Book and the Sunnah and they obey Allah and His Messenger and follow the truth. They have mercy upon the creation." Majmū’ al-Fatāwá 1/278

Islam teaches us to have mercy upon the entire creation, including unbelievers and idolaters. The reverse is however the case the teachings and practice of the Kharaijites. They have no mercy for those outside their group. They declare other Muslims to be unbelievers by misinterpreting and misapplying the verses of the Quran.

In Sahih Al-Bukhari, it is reported that : Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, considered the Kharijites to be the worst of Allah’s creation and he said:

ﺇِﻧَّﻬُﻢْ ﺍﻧْﻄَﻠَﻘُﻮﺍ ﺇِﻟَﻰ ﺁﻳَﺎﺕٍ ﻧَﺰَﻟَﺖْ ﻓِﻲ ﺍﻟْﻜُﻔَّﺎﺭِ ﻓَﺠَﻌَﻠُﻮﻫَﺎ ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﺍﻟْﻤُﺆْﻣِﻨِﻴﻦَ

His statement can be translated as :

"Verily, they take verses that were revealed about unbelievers and use them against the believers." Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6531

The teachings of Jabata, Yusuf, Shekau and Co, which is the teachings of the Kharijites is that their opinions regarding leadership, government, politics, and the Sharia are the only valid opinions in Islam and whoever disagrees with them becomes an unbeliever.

You can imagine how delusional they can be and how crazy a length they can go.
No wonder Imaam Ibn Kathir says:

ﺇِﺫْ ﻟَﻮْ ﻗَﻮُﻭﺍ ﻫَﺆُﻟَﺎﺀِ ﻟَﺄَﻓْﺴَﺪُﻭﺍ ﺍﻟْﺄَﺭْﺽَ ﻛُﻠَّﻬَﺎ ﻋِﺮَﺍﻗًﺎ ﻭَﺷَﺎﻣًﺎ ﻭَﻟَﻢْ ﻳَﺘْﺮُﻛُﻮﺍ ﻃِﻔْﻠًﺎ ﻭَﻟَﺎ ﻃِﻔْﻠَﺔَ ﻭَﻟَﺎ ﺭَﺟُﻠًﺎ ﻭَﻟَﺎ ﺍﻣْﺮَﺃَﺓً ﻟِﺄَﻥَّ ﺍﻟﻨَّﺎﺱَ ﻋِﻨْﺪَﻫُﻢْ ﻗَﺪْ ﻓَﺴَﺪُﻭﺍ ﻓَﺴَﺎﺩًﺍ ﻟَﺎ ﻳُﺼْﻠِﺤُﻬُﻢْ ﺇِﻟَّﺎ ﺍﻟْﻘَﺘْﻞُ ﺟُﻤْﻠَﺔً

"If the Khawarij ever gained power, they would corrupt the entire earth, Iraq, and Syria. They would not leave a boy or a girl or a man or a woman, for in their view the people have become so corrupt that they cannot be reformed except by mass killing"
Al-Bidāyah wal-Nihāyah 10/584.
