I agree the 3G is poor in most areas but get a 4G enabled phone that supports glo band or their MIFi and you are good to go.

You see, this is the issue. Some are saying their 4g is good and also acknowledge that their 3g is problematic in some areas but it is still 3g we are talking about. 3g is still capable of good enough speed and network should be optimised for both bands. After all, I am now using Airtel and MTN 3g to browse and I have not been subjected to the horrible, frustrating network situation.

I seamlessly stream YouTube videos, transfer data in excess of 1.2 gig almost on daily basis without hiccups whatsoever.

For days now, Glo network has been terrible.

I did what you suggested above. I put the Glo sim in a mifi and guess what? The mifi is reading 2G.

I cant even open a web page with it. Yesterday, I used MTN with 300 MB of data just to read mails and check around.

Right now, I am using Airtel with 200 Naira for 200 MB just to check mails and stuff.
