timay: I'm sure that was the only instance you could mention (Cameroon match), which can happen once in a while. Even the best defenders gets turned once in a while
Collins on the other hand gets turned on the regular by even the most average of wingers. Against Brazil , I just dey shame on behalf of the guy. At a point, the Brazilian team noticed that he's the weak point and Firmino and Gabriel Jesus started making use of his wings. Even a makeshift Awaziem doesn't get turned on a regular like Collins. Nigga is pathetic. How many goals has all the Colins "turning " in your view against worthy opponents caused Nigeria? I'm waiting for figures |

Danielnino00: Aina was turned over and over at which AFCON? Against which team?
Collins returned to the team cus he was originally designed to start until he got injured... having recovered, Rohr didn't want to leave him on the bench... Aina is better than Collins and Idowu at LB abeg. the only aspect of his game that he needs to work on is his occasional loss of concentration. The Aina of post world cup era has greatly improved! Yes he was overturned, check the Cameroon game So are you saying Rohr was sentimental or stupid enough to bench a good player for a not so good one? The same him that went to shop for Colins while Aina was already in camp and playing that position? Wait till we play worthy opponents, then we will know if he's now betteroff as the LB compared to Colins that the coach prefer |

Danielnino00: U didn't watch Aina play left back at the AFCON? or U don't know that he plays LB and LWB regularly at Torino? Left back at AFCON that got him turned all over again until Rohr had to start using Colins? Or why did Colins end up playing most of the remaining AFCON games as the LB? Club form is way different from country, afterall the same Colins is balling for his club with goals to his name abi you no no? |

If Rohr can't get another left footed left back, then let's continue with Aina there....he is better than Collins and Idowu combined Based on a game against LESOTHO? How can he be better than both of them combined? make una soft pedal with this hype and wait until we see him against worthy teams |

komekn: If you can not prove his age then what is purpose of your proposition.
It's vice versa, you can not have it both ways.
Unfortunately and shamefully Nigeria does not have OFFICIAL AUTOMATIC BIRTH DATA CAPTURE. As a consequence it is IMPOSSIBLE to have official age verification in Nigeria.
In Nigeria we rely entirely on personal integrity which knowing our country and it's value system is very very weak indeed.
We can't even have basic free and fair elections.
Consider your claim in bold and the substanceof your initial statement. i.e. " were you there when he was born "
So back to you, prove that Ahmed Musa is 27 ❓
27 is on his legal document which is above anything else in validity now prove to us that he's below or above that age |

charlesemeka85: Nigeria grabbed their second AFCON 2021 qualifier victory on Sunday after beating Lesotho 4-2.
Allnigeriasoccer.com rounds up the performance of every of the Super Eagles player in action thus :
The Starters
Goalkeeper
Daniel Akpeyi: Caught unawares by Masoabi's early header but was composed otherwise and even bailed out his team on a couple if sloppy occasions. (7/10)
Defenders
William Troost-Ekong: Ably contained the Lesotho attackers and took no prisoners in his defending. (7/10)
Semi Ajayi: Reacted rather poorly after the cross leading to the conceded goal was put in, and was a false start on that note. Grew into the game as it went on and posted an assured display. Got in the book. (6/10)
Ola Aina: Yet another eye-catching showing from Aina. Astute defensively and was pacy both going up against the opposition and tracking back. Teed up Osimhen with a great assist. Based on his last two games for the Super Eagles, Aina has matured into a player with international quality. (8.5/10)
Chidozie Awaziem: Was a bit shaky. He inadvertently diverted into his own goal in the closing minutes. (5.5/10)
Midfielders
Wilfred Ndidi: Led the early press and saw a couple of shots fired wide. Held sway in the middle of the park as always. (7/10)
Joe Aribo: Had a quiet game and wasn't eager to join his mates in the attacking forays. Dropped back and kept passes rather simple. (6/10)
Alex Iwobi: Pulled his team level with a precise finish and set the pace for what could have been a difficult game for the Eagles. Showed flashes of his brilliance as their attacking verve took centre stage in Maseru. (8/10)
Attackers
Moses Simon: Stung Lichaba's palms with a long range drive and was a willing runner through the flank. Replaced by Samuel Kalu. (6.5/10)
Samuel Chukwueze: Dazzled on the right flank and was a nightmare on the break. Dropped in behind the Lesotho defence to score a top-drawer header. (7/10)
Victor Osimhen: Simply a five star display from the striker. Had the duo of Basia Makepe and Bokang Sello on the ropes for much of the game. Pinged in two assists for his teammates before joining the act with two great goals. (10/10)
The Substitutes
Ahmed Musa: Had few scraps to work on but his sharpness was glaring to see. (5/10)
Ramon Azeez: Looked a lot more adventurous after replacing Aribo and will pick out Osimhen with a nicely placed assist. (7/10)
Samuel Kalu: Showed his usual drive and trickery after his introduction but there was too little space as Lesotho retreated. (5/10) 2 back to back matches for Akpeyi with good rating and no errors from him. Interesting |

Either ways Did he tell you he won't come if called up? I still listened to him on radio about a month ago that he would not mind a call up by Rohr Denied ever rejecting any call up But I prefer him now as a GK coach if he goes that route |

At the bolded, It's Same thing happening in the super eagles team.
So shift lemme see front Then why quote me when I already concluded that Rohr should unearth an above average LB for us? Aina at LB won't work against stronger teams this is lesotho incase you forgot Don't just be quoting |

Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 7:53pm On Nov 17, 2019 |
timay: Spoiler alert.
Most right footed player that plays left back are mostly good with both feets. Ashley Young of Man Utd is an example. He played left back for England in the last world cup and he did well. There is a young left back from Man Utd academy that was promoted recently, Brandon Williams, he's right footed too and can make good crosses with both his feet. It's even an advantage sef, cos most defenders won't know if you want to cross or cut in, because u are two footed.
Lastly Aina has played generally more on the left than on the right for the past two years now, so I'm sure he would have adapted. So if you have players like Udeze, Taiwo or Babayaro, you will play Aina at LB ahead of them? Secondly, those names you listed above are playing these roles because the natural LBs are either inexperience or not good enough. |

We are saying this because we are yet to get an above-average LB (Not like Colins is bad). I am the kind that likes square pegs in square holes. Crossing is part of our siggy, just that we haven't had much of them good crossers for a while now but they are getting better. tbaba1234: Nigeria does not cross much anyway. At Torino, Aina plays more from the left |

Enyeama was with us for more than 10 years, all of a sudden he can't work with the NFF? maybe you meant some new faces in the NFF. BTW, he was in the camp in Uyo, so I don't think his issues with the NFF is that deep. If HE had a club or playing club football, he would have been back in the SE as a GK under Rohr no matter what. Eguaveon is a good defensive coach too o. Yes he can score too. Our squad is too rich now not to achieve great things ahead. Humility017: please remove enyeama he has temprament issues...he can't work with the NFF.
