Kenya ke? grin
OMANBALA1:
Ignore that nigga. The same players qualified us from the group of death that has Kenya, Algeria and Cameroon and somebody is asking how many strikers were invited....That question is really dumbb

Too bad we might suffer big time from the wings incase something happens to any of the 2 wingers..

We are good at attacking via the wings and i expected Rohr to go with like 3 pacy wingers, but it's too late, we will make do with what we have.
forgiveness:
I just wanted to correct the lie that Rohr gave those players chance to prove themselves. That's all.

I have already moved on tey tey but I can't swallow lies na.

I am not even suggesting players but I know we are only going to the world Cup with two wingers except Etebo comes to the party.

Okay but has never been used or tried by Rohr. sometimes i wonder why he keeps calling the lad.

You never can tell, except he's been dropped, he stands a chance.

Also heard Awaziem isn't that fit. how true?

forgiveness:
As a true loving Nigerian, I know you can't win World cup without the right set of players and good tactics hence the need to do the needful.

However, how many go striker did Rohr give chance to prove themselves?

It is a question that begs for an answer. Don't just sweep under the carpet.
What exactly do you want? The list has been released and there is nothing you can do to add or remove from the 30 man list, so why not just move on and discuss just the names on the list?

After worldcup, you can suggest and clamor for another 30 man list of yours for Qatar 2022.

He no dey do you ni?

Haba.. You be market woman? Hope your wife sleeps with her headphones because i am just teying9to imagine what she goes through.. No vex o na joke o.

Certitude:
All this funny posts of defence not winning you games.
Well it doesnt but important.

If you can defend but cant score, when its time for PK, you dont have good scorers, you will lose out at the end.

I know you might say PK is totally different but you just have to know how to take accurate shots to even attempt pk.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 1:24pm On May 29, 2018
My preferred 23

Ezenwa - To me, he's the most confident of the 3 but with arial issues
Uzoho - For being loved by Rohr
Akpeyi - Experienced and good but shaky due to psychological issues.

Troosk
Balogun
Shehu
Echiejile
Ebuehi
Idowu
Omeruo
Eze - Rohr loves tall lads and this guy can be an ariel threat during setpieces if groomed well.

Mikel
Onazi
Ndidi
Ogu
Etebo
Obi

Moses
Ighalo
Musa
Iheanacho
Simy
Iwobi

Lakosa should stand by incase something happens before kickoff.
Aina should also standby incase (Rb or Lb)
Agu also can replace obi incase.
Awaziem to stand by for Ezeh.. (looks unfit)
Ajiboye not going anywhere, he was only picked to satisfy some poeple.

MetalJigsaw:
I don't see Rohr picking up to 7 midfielders. Because they're mostly DMs
BTW, cant some of the DMs play CD?

If we have like 1 or 2 that can play CD if need be, then we should take fewer CBs.

Another option: Do we have CBs that can play DM?

Shehu is DM but can play RB. I would want us to have more attacking minded players than defence becaude goals win games and not defending.

I have this subtle feeling that lokosa will make the final list on the premise that Ezenwa is the only hombased bound for Russia in the team.
Lokosa won't make it to Russia unless Simy is dropped.

If you stand by the sidelines and I or other thought leaders stand by the sidelines and allow the invaders rule supreme this thread will lose its essence.

It's football season. Don't think they'd go away. Better give us the benefit of your quality opinions than wait for the invaders to go away.

safarigirl:
maybe you just joined us few months ago, so, you are unfamiliar with how things are here.

We have gone through three or so threads as a group, we have been together since October 2013, October of this year will make it five years, since the originators of this thread came together. Do you know how many 'noisemakers' we have entertained in that period? Well, they are certainly more than the amount of posts you have on this thread and yet, we always have space for them.

Noisemakers are a necessary part of this thread, in their own way, they contribute to the thread. They talk, they drag the team down, they predict the usual doom and gloom, but we who have five years experience with them, respond as much as we can and then ignore, because, dem no dey last. They will eventually fizzle out, but their opinions matter, because sometimes, they have valid points even in all of that pessimism

Don't disrespect people's opinions. To some of us here, you are also a noisemaker, but you don't see anyone throwing your opinion in the bin grin

Hope to see your analysis by morning. G'night
Hope you checked when this moniker was registered?
Before this was a 2007 moniker, won't say more than that.

As for my analysis, will do when i rewatch for clarity sake.

Leaving people to make their noise will turn this thread upside down like most of other threads on NL full of rubbish with little to get edified on. like i said, i am not ready to entertain you.
safarigirl:
toh, na for witches and wizards you dry save your own analysis grin.

Since I am familiar with how most posters here 'analyse', I doubt I will be surprised by yours. Not very different from those you tag 'noisemakers'.

We all are in some way. Leave people to make their noise, it is analysis to them. We are different and everything posted here has bits and pieces that can be useful, tagging anyone a 'noisemaker' for posting their own opinion, no matter how ridiculous it may seem to you, is disrespectful.

Anybody wey no be Rohr, dey make noise as far as this team is concerned

Drop analyst now? na.. not ready to type in vain.. maybe when the noisemakers go to bed or leave. it's getting annoying, the good analysis are getting lost in the noises.

Enough said

Saying i don't have comments to drop says alot about your intention, guess what girl? not in the mood to engage you in the usual stuff you thrive in.

safarigirl:
na so you come here come analyse the analysts.

You, can't you drop your own analysis of the game? Leave people to comment on their own observations about the game, you comment on yours if you have any. You obviously don't undecided

As usual, i wasn't expecting anything different on this thread.

Some will surely blame everything else for their loved players.

Some will even use others as yardstick to why theirs shouldn't be blamed.

Too many emotional and sentimental people on this thread of recent including known monikers..

Just too many.. but then, i ain't surprised though, some people just can't help it.

From "the pitch was bad" to "He's not used to the weather" bla bla bla. like those who did well on that same pitch were born on such pitch.

Let's continue with our sentimental/emotional biases o as long as it makes you people sleep at night.

We are having too many noise makers on this thread with fewer logical and rational analysts..

All i am saying, Bring back the true analysts!

That money is enough to get a 1 room self cont in Nigeria, then a couple of new clothes fit enough for work, shoes. then maybe few stuffs in the house + 1 month foodstuff.

In 6 months, he should have saved like $5000 from his salary and in 1 year, he should have $10k at least.

Now, coming to America, The total of $2201 he got should be able to rent him a place with like $450/$500 per month, then he can use $500 to buy stuffs needed in the house, $400 for new clothes fit enough for work, shoes. Then, let with like $600. $400 for food and $300 as backup.

For salary, i think their tax is like 15%, so i don't know how much they want to offer him as salary but even if it's $1800 per month, he should be able to save $1000 monthly. (That's saying if he's paid $15 per hour and he works 6 hours a day 5 times a week).

He can afford a $400 per month apartment (Can share with someone else). infact with such money if given to me, in 2 years, i would have learned more skills, get some professional qualifications, diversity and earn more passive income. in 4 years, should be working for myself.

I guess it's the lack of Ambition that got his parents act this way.

No sir, but you will agree with me that they know better. You think you just start a national carrier overnight?
They've not even settle the previous debts and are yet to pay the old staff.
Except they just want to score cheap political points, they need to take their time to do a thorough job so it won't fold up again.

Mind you, the old Nigerian Airways was not properly liquidated. Up till today we don't know how much they sold it.
They know better than the people in charge?

If they know better, how come the Nigerian airways was ran to the ground and was obsolete all these while?
