This one happened to my friend in 2020. A client contacted him for a project and asked him to forward his account. He did and the client through government ministry he works as an accountant pushed money to my friend's account. My friend was confused on seeing diverted fund as alert from a ministry. Later in the day, client confirmed he pushed the money. A week before the start of the project, client called to terminate the project and requested for refund.

Being a gentleman, my friend refunded him but this time to his client's personal account.

If my friend had wanted to do it the Nigerian way, he would have ceased or make case with the funds.
