Less than 40kg of gas in 12 months can only be possible if you're very good at managing gas (Maybe you have a top secret), your 'bulk' cooking that you eat for a week or two might even be a 2 day meal to some families.

You need to be on the other side to understand better. (This is if you cook all the food you eat).

Your best comparison should be with a fellow single person.

I wonder what you are doing with it. Except one is a caterer or cooking for 6, I don't see why you should use 12.5kg a month. I don't use 25k in 12 months. I use more than 25kg, but definitely not up to 40kg.
- Cook bulk.
- Use smaller burners.
- Use your microwave to warm.
- Don't boil water twice a day with it. A water heater or electric kettle would suffice

I very much doubt you cook more than I do. If all you have to do every two weeks is boil rice, spag, fry dodo, omelettes and potatoes. There is no way you would use 12.5kg in a month. I am even a remote worker and I have made breakfast for two today. Majority of you go out everyday. So what da hell are you guys cooking??!

After the US, European nations take the lead.

I watch alot of European league games from Spain to Lithuania to even Turkey etc.

Only the US tops these leagues and their time zone is similar to ours.

Nigerians (most) just like bandwagon, they follow what the majority follows, hence the reason basketball is yet to blossom.

Same can happen to football and I dare say same has happened to football. Remember basketball isn't native to Nigerians, most folks are just getting acquainted to it. Football however is more like Nigeria's staple food. Compared to what obtained before, Nigerians are now disinterested with Nigerian football. The Super 6 of the NPFL recently ended and they struggled to get people to the stadium. The last Super Eagles game in Abuja was embarrassingly scanty. Also remember league football was in shambles till the IMC was instituted last year. The just concluded league is the best we've had in a decade.

So your argument really doesn't fly. Shut down league football in Nigeria and you'll be surprised Nigerians will just react a few days and that's it. It's because of the way sports generally is run in Nigeria. It's why I'm thankful more private clubs are gaining promotion to the NPFL. That way we have less governmental clubs.

There was no time it happened that our football league for off for that long. 2015 is 8 years.

Football is also not our sport, though we adopted it earlier than basketball.

I still believe the reason basketball has been ignored and allowed to be run anyhow by egoistic Nigerians is because most Nigerians don't really watch the sport.
