Slurity: That means we owned Germany and all the countries that Buhari visited too. Think before talking trash Do presidential candidates of these countries go to foreign countries to "debate" or "roll" out their plans for their own countries the way our presidential candidates often go to the US, UK etc to "campaign" during elections? I want to believe you're smart enough to understand the above since you're good at being uncivilized. You obviously don't understand neocolonialism nor worldpolitics. |

Nigeria's owners keep showing up everyday.
From the US, to France, to the UK.
These are the real owners.
They decide what happens in your country.
What must and mustn't be developed.
They own Nigeria. |

bukatyne: The refinery is not in the heart of Lagos.
Infact, it is rumoured to be about a hr or two drive to Ondo State on Bike.
It is about 1hr 30mins drive from the express road to the refinery (note the drive is without any traffic). Wrong. It's on the free trade zone road. |

Adjovi: I just hope we won't start complaining of black soot like river's state people.... Black soot is from the illegal refineries all around ND. They do not follow any safety measures nor do they use standard refining equipments for the crude. You can't compare both. |
Business › Re: Is Lagos The Best Place For Dangote Refinery? by somehow: 12:07pm On May 23, 2023 |
Taiwo20: With the siting of the refinery in Lekki and the potential gas flaring and the already bad water in that area and traffic.
The Lekki hype go soon come down. Bad weather in which area? The traffic is due to the road construction being done from Ogun state down to Abraham Adesanya. (Where is being worked on now has almost gotten to Abijo), From Abijo down to Epe is smooth. By the way, Dangote refinery is not even on that route, alot of you don't even know what Ibejulekki looks like. |

Jez9: Is not really in Lagos.. Geographically the Refinary is on the Soil of Ogun State. Lagos does not have that land for that big project. They just using Lagos to suit the global audience. Ibejulekki lekki is not Ogun state. It's not even anywhere close to the border. |

Krak: Experts whose decisions were influenced by economic interests and palm greasing. Even a kindergarten knows that air pullution goes for hundreds of kilometers.
I remember few years ago when pollution from the Warri refinery affected the rains in far away Osun State. During Desert Storm, air pollution from the fires in Kuwait went as far as parts of Europe.
But what do I know. Absolutely nothing. Then no matter where it's sited, there's still going to be issues judging of this post of yours. |

Mrfeel: That's why I said he should have built it in Ondo or ogun instead lagos is too populated and small Have you been to the refinery before? What do you know about Ibejulekki and its environs? I have about 4 properties between Ibejulekki and Epe, 1 is on the same road with the refinery, so I want to first understand how well you know the area before replying you with my response. Thanks |

Similarly to what was done at Energodar NPP, they are attempt to cause a nuclear disaster. The West is trying to use these people to end the world (Not sure how safe we are in Africa). How can you be trying to blow up a nuclear site if not that you're trying to destroy more than just a country? |

They are now trying to sign up immigrants to fight in 🇺🇦 Ukraine.

Payments in citizenship. So they cant send their own citizens but ready to sacrifice people who personally dont value their own lives? Only a good for nothing person would take up such an offer, an offer actual citizens are running from. |

Mille: Mehn, soldiers are trying o. I don't think I can be one.
Imagine sending a handful of soldiers to Russia for what is clearly a suicide mission for PR purposes. More than half of those guys will surely end up dead in a few days. They cannot hold the place for long, are far from reinforcements and will definitely not get any military support.
Is there any kind of indoctrination going on in the military? Cos I can't imagine myself going on such missions. I'd rather defect or go AWOL 9 Ukrainians were shot dead by their fellow country men for trying to go AWOL. Majority didn't choose to be in this war, Zelensky and his masters forced them into it. |

Appleyard: After losing Bakhmut, Zelensky wants to Dave face and send a handful of criminals to raid a village in Belgorod. But, like you tightly noted, why keep tactical nukes there without adequate security? To me, that smirks of irresponsibility and negligence. The Russians take things too simple. Makes absolutely no sense. Stationed nukes in a border town without adequate supervision. At they have evacuated the nukes. |
