Sureguy078 paid on the 14th of November 2020. 220k.. and that issue happened that same 14th of Nov 2020.. i called him as soon as i got back from church that morning.. khayflux doesn't even knw our issue.. except maybe he saw it through the thread on the 14th.. also sureguy078 texted me and i wasn't responding.. i have faults too.. well sureguy078 got his money the following day 15th of Nov, 2020 in the afternoon.. in full.. pls ask him for confirmation and see that my brother was the person who made the transfer..now that 15th i called sureguy trying to explain to him.. he listened but said his hands are tied.. i must pay that same day.. i borrowed 120k from my mom.. and my brother lent me 100k.. that was how i paid back... He's still literarily a potential scammer. Any business person who can think of transferring his loss to his partners is not safe to deal with. Possibility of loss is part of the features of business and any serious business person will face his losses when they come and not run away from them.
The person behind Paschalville/YourGadgetplug should not be back to trading here this soon. He should go on correctional leave.
You can't commit an offense and still be dealing almost immediately as if nothing happened. His composure since then lacks remorse. There should be consequences for acts.

After the whole scenario with sureguy, Paschallvile decided to start afresh on a clean slate and as such chose the moniker, "YourGadgetPug," something along that line but seemed not many took his starting afresh well and if I may recollect, he reported to me about a moniker called Toma2 tailing him on the thread and making things unbearable for him...

I believe he said something awful and was reported to the mods where he got a 10yrs ban. This happened on November 29th, 2020. As such, if he was banned with the moniker "YourGadgetPlug" on the 29th, I doubt he'd have opened the moniker "shopwiser" which was opened on the 14th (that's 2 weeks before he got banned). The mods and those whom may have transacted with shopwiser would be in the best position to tell us or shopwiser could show an ID but that's not a full proof...but all in all, it's unlikely... The proof of the last chat I had with Paschallville reporting about Toma2 on the 29th can be seen in the screenshot below.

In online sales, it's either buyer receives what he paid for or his money. Why he doesn't receive the goods isn't even his business. The consequencial thing is that he didn't receive it.
The moment you agree to sell to someone in a manner that requires waybill/delivery, it's ur duty to ensure it gets to the buyer whereas it's the buyer's responsibility to pay for the shipping or delivery.
To minimize risks, sellers can recommend specific logistics coy that he feels safest with. Any buyer that declines the recommended coy would now be on his own.

You (or ur staff, on your behalf) assigned the role of taking the package to Ibadan to the driver. you paid him and this exactly is why you're to be held responsible.
Like you rightly pointed out, "directive was to Ibadan", that was what you were paid for and that didn't happen.
The job given to you was to get the package to Ibadan where the recepient will receive it but because you do not have the resources to convey it to destination, you paid a driver to do that (on your behalf) and any ish emanating from the driver would definitely end on your desk.
It wasn't the recepient who had a deal with the driver, neither was it even the seller. It was you.

The item isn't the buyer's until he receives it as described. Infact, the buyer dragging the driver to an extent, involving the police and some soldiers, is out of his generosity.

What if it was a pay on delivery deal?
What if it was an escrowed deal? Would the Escrow have released money to seller if delivery ended this way?
Conventionally, in ecommerce, when cases like this happen, it's the delivery company's loss which insurance is expected to cover. No one runs a logistics service without anticipating issues like this and preparing for same with insurance.
Also, it is the responsibility of whoever contracted the logistics company to drag the logistics company.

Buyer paid 4k from Lagos to Ibadan and logistics company still used commercial bus driver.
This is a case of an unsuccessful delivery, sequel to logistics accident.
The only instance the buyer can be liable is if he was the one who insisted on delivery company.
So I implore the seller and the delivery person to come up with the buyer's full refund, with apology for the stress and inconveniences.
They both can then track the phone if they want to.
Op, you can work with those policemen and soldiers to go after the seller and delivery person(if you were the one who gave him the job) to recover your refund.
