Moniya4Real: Hmmm, I’m in as much as I am not a fan of Iran, you pointed out a very bitter fact here; “in the middle of a negotiation “ but some people here on nairaland will not speak the truth cos of religion. Worthy to pint out the Europeans and other western countries aren’t condemning this now but wait if Russia or China does the same….. There is no sincerity in that negotiation. Iran is just buying time and giving the US a run around. This was obvious from the statement from both sides yesterday. Not that the US was not prepared for such tactics by the Iranians negotiators. In fact, they had the carrots and the sticks ready. It is in their best interest to turn the situation to partnership just like Nigeria did. But ego won’t let them do so. Iran failed to understand that they are in a very difficult position and will not win the in the situation. |

Career › Re: How Much Does A Dispatch Rider In Nigeria Make Monthly by sonnie10: 9:35pm On Feb 23 |
KStylist: Bros, dispatchers have been delaying goods since time immemorial, it didn't start with me. I won't ride to Lekki with 1 package of 8k when I could go with 5 packages of 35k. Financial gains come first. By the way, if you know how to pick a good hotspot, you can amass these works in the space of 2 hours max. Especially when you have 2 to 3 apps. Good to know. But stop exposing the secret of your business. Very soon they will spoil that tactics for you. |
Career › Re: How Much Does A Dispatch Rider In Nigeria Make Monthly by sonnie10: 4:09pm On Feb 23 |
KStylist: No way a dispatcher will spend 10k daily on fuel or else he's mad. Even as an amateur who was doing pole to pole delivery that year, max I ever spent was 6k fuel to make 40k minimum. When I eventually understood parking at a spot to amass works, I've never used more than 2500 fuel to make same amount. God's my witness. But if you park in a spot to amass orders, won't you delay the delivery of other people's goods ? Or timely delivery does not count? |

1: Kenya is a sovereign state, Nigeria has no power to send him there.
2: Kanu by virtue of being a convicted terrorist has automatically lost his British Citizenship so which Uk is he talking about?
3: They may both be secessionists but igboho wasn’t involved in or convicted of terrorism. Kanu wasn’t convicted as a secessionist but as a terrorist. So they are not the same. Education › Re: Radiography Chose Me: What Every Jambite Should Know by sonnie10: 8:50am On Feb 18 |
deadie: You have no idea what you are talking about. The job of a radiographer is not to interprete, but rather to acquire medical images. AI has no effect on radigraphy.
Someone has to prepare patient, put them in the appropriate clothing, position them for the imaging procedure, take the necessary radiation protection measures and acquire the image. Physical interaction with the patient is needed, so radiography is pretty safe.
I studied radiography in for my Bachelors, practiced a bit, then acquired more training and moved to another field. But I will not discourage anyone from studying the course. Don't mind them. People with little or no idea about the profession will just come here to give unfounded information. Wonder if it is AI that will prep the patient and position them for the right anatomy in profile. Then produce and critic the images for quality. Protect the patient from radiation and transmit the images. What they fail to know is that its a very hands-on job that requires physical contact and lots of safety measures because not all patients are the same. Some have fracture, others dislocation, some pneumonia, edema, effusion. stroke etc. Patient care approach for each of them is different. Then, also consider the vast population and different lifespan demographics. Neonates, infants, children, adultescents, young adult. elderly and older adult. The reality is that patients variation is vast. It will be hard to set up an automated system that can handle such variation. Even at that, they are not even asking who does ultrasound, MRI, CT etc. Those are some of the different branches in radiography which are also in high demand. |

Crime › Re: Police Burst Illegal Mortuary In Cross Rivers State (Graphic Photos) by sonnie10: 5:02pm On Feb 14*. Modified: 5:19pm On Feb 14 |
The problem is lack of information or will I say ignorance of people’s way of life. The traditional way to preserve corpses in Calabar has always been by embalmed methods. Not cold room mortuaries. Back in the days, the people of calabar would leave their death at home and invite a local practitioner to come to the house for the embalmment. That one room in the house is reserved for the body until burial. This was possible because people mostly own their houses.
Now, Fast forward today, due to housing shortage and for the fact that most people are tenants, they no longer have the privilege of leaving the body in a rented apartment. But the people still prefer the traditional method of preserving the body. Just like the Egyptians still prefer Mormon tradition.
So, the business model of a collective space for the practice became an option. However, these should be done in an environment that is decent, while providing dignity of the bodies. At the same time, they most ensure that the activities do not constitute health hazard to the adjourning residents. |
