The only solution now is an Atiku/ Obi ticket in 2027. This present government will have be defeated at the polls.
Two can play the game.

It probably would be the same food wise. My suggestion is to regularly include liver and kidney stir fried with very little olive oil and lots of red onions which you add half of the onions at the start and the other half towards the end of cooking.

Also sour sop should also be your friend like 3 times a week.
Kidney disease especially CKD does not like high phosphorus content foods like most green vegetables.Even red meats.

Mind telling us how much the medicine the minister takes cost?
There are different brands. The first company that made it are selling for $1k per injection while you can get generic ones for about $250 per injection.
Once monthly for about 6 months and you will notice very visible result.

Igbos should learn from this and stop the in house fighting.
Orji Uzor is fighting with Nk
Nk is fighting with Hope uzo
Peter is fighting with Soludo
Soludo is fighting Peter Obi
Joe igbokwe is fighting with all Igbos
Mbaka is fighting with Peter Obi

The list is endless

I don’t know much about kidneys apart from I was at 20% when admitted (hence the straight onto insulin) from dehydration but 80% when discharged.
Why were you admitted for A1C of about 6.3. That does not seem like a value that would trigger much symptoms. Your electrolytes could have been off due to dehydration.

I will meet him tomorrow to know why
He might tell you that your blood glucose level is within normal range ( if that is the case) , so there is no need to waste money on unnecessary test.

I just lost a big write up now on how stopping all my new rheumatoid meds that was designed to make me better but ended up making me worse.

After stopping my inflammation maker and my body feels much better.

The deeps in May and November are when I stopped them.
Normally, visceral fat are makers for inflammation because they are actively producing molecules that cause inflammation. The arteries don’t function well when inflamed and they are very prone to that, in that their walls are thick and in layers . Fat accumulate in these layers and results to plaque.
Guess what plaques do, they tend to reduce or block the free flow of oxygenated blood by constricting the arteries. Every organ survives by oxygen. The heart especially is affected by two factors here, weight of the visceral fat and the blocking of coronary arteries. The arteries that feed the heart.
This is one of the reasons diabetes is a slow killer. It affects so many organs in many different ways.
The take away in all of these is to reduce the amount of saturated fat in diet in other to reduce inflammation .

I only started having access to this information after my last one which was 6.3 pre diabetes while normal is up to 6.
A1C test packs are sold OTC. Although it might be cheaper to get it done at a lab, because they have the “commercial machine “ that does it at scale.

You are on track, good thing you caught it earlier and you are taking proactive action. At 6.3 , you have a chance to make significant progress with just diet and exercise. However , most doctors will recommend some medication along with the life style changes.
Please do not relent. The consequences aren’t always good. A lot of other complications do follow, especially with increased numbers.

I am relatively new to diabetes 2years and 9 months past diagnosis and I am on my food journey. I still use my insulin pens and monitor with freestyle libre. My blood work fluctuates between normal and pre diabetes.

The discipline and work around food preparation started about a year ago and is not an easy task.
Good topic. However, any discussion on type 2 diabetes that does include the gold standard test which is the A1C TEST is not complete. Most people do not know about this test but only rely on daily blood sugar levels, which just gives them a false sense of security when they are on low glucose diet.
A1C test is quite different in that it shows how much glucose has been in the blood averaging over 3-4 months. This is the confirmation result for the chronic disease and not just a one time test.

Also, weight management is key to maintaining a healthy body. When excess glucose consumed is converted to fat and stored in the body, the are mostly stored as visceral fat. This type of fat is detrimental to functioning of the organs. Liver and pancreas are overworked and tired as impaired by visceral fat. Remember, pancreas produces insulin. The hormone that mops up excess blood glucose. There are new treatments involving the use of Glp1 medication for weight loss. It looks like that is what our wicked minister is talking, notice how fast he lost all the weight in just a few periods of time. ( very expensive medicine) .This inevitably results in reduced blood glucose levels .
Lastly, any food choice should target increased insulin production , less carb and less saturated fats.
Also, exercise has been proven to increase insulin production. Expert recommend daily exercise for people with diabetes.

Is this not same man who announced lawal as consensus candidate for apc.Oga u lack integrity Don't waste ur time with any igbo politician in apc. They are sell out
This is very correct and the only way out. A strong coalition is needed but based on an agreement for the people of SE and their political mobilization in the national stage. It would involve making some sacrifices.
An Atiku/Obi ticket in 2027 seems to be a winning strategy

Wrong. That part of user interface on Facebook uses geolocation and IP addresses to assign and tag the profile user to its original location. The user has no control over it and cannot change it, as it’s done at the backend by the administrator.

Let Igbos join and vote Atiku.
Nigeria is mainly dividing into SW, SE and North in during general elections.
Once any group joins the other, it’s a sure win.

What are you going on about?

I wanted to ignore your post and even block you initially because I was pissed off that you didn't read my post at all. You MUST learn to read properly before responding to posts online!

Look, with my knowledge in advanced global geopolitical dynamics and as a counter terror analyst, I CLEARLY gave reasons why these insidious jihadists such as JNIM operating in over half of Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger Republic, BH, ISWAP and these foreign Fula militia bandits aided by some minority Fulas in Hausaland are operating and what can be done to STOP them. Period.

NO where in my post did I surrender or show any defeatist attitude and I'm in FULL support of joint military operations with Nigerian military forces NOT this idea of Trump making irresponsibly condescending statements about Nigeria when the war on terror is supposed to be a joint effort. Nigeria isn't the ONLY country in West Africa experiencing terror attacks yet his uses ridiculous adjectives to describe Nigeria over the terror activities which the United States, France, and others triggered during the Cold War with the USSR back from the Russian invasions of Afghanistan and the sponsoring of Osama Bin Laden's Islamist fighters to fight the USSR which the United States saw as the enemy. Osama Bin Laden and his other Islamist and jihadi groups later turned against the United States and the spin-offs of jihadi gangs and terror bandits are bring felt in many countries of the world including the West African Sahel countries till today.
The usual running around in circles, blaming the victims instead of the perpetuators. Did you even listen to Trump's comment on the issue. Was he not particular about the killing of Christians as his major concern? How many Christians are in those other countries you mentioned and how many Christians places of worship have been destroyed in those other places or Christian young school girls have been kidnapped ? Nigeria is a peculiar country with almost equally distribution of both religion unlike Chad, Niger, Mali etc. Any practical solution must keep this mind. Also you talked about Osama., was he not given the same opportunity like every one else who lives and work in the US but he decided to misused it. Now , you blame it on the US for working with the wolf. A typical case of a wolf in sheep clothing. Was he the only one deployed for counter intelligence during that era?
Politics › Re: Uncontrolled Migration Top Security Threats In Southwest Says Gbenga Daniel by sonnie10: 7:05pm On Nov 22, 2025
There is nothing like migration within the confines of a country. The constitution is very clear on that. Every Nigerian is free to live and work in any part of the country. We can’t make the constitution a proclamation of convenience. The one Nigeria under one constitution has always been the guiding principle. SW does not operate a different system and the discussion of the effect of migration on the region by itself is speaking on both sides of the mouth.

What subsidies is this half of Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger Republic are now earth satellite technologies to strike out the foreign Fula militia bandits, Lakurawa from countries because of the instability .
You dabbled from one point to another but let’s just focus on the claim that the insecurity in Nigeria cannot be stopped because it’s a fallout from neighboring countries. Consider countries like Israel and Saudi, why are they very few incidents of violence in these places even when they are surrounded by hostile forces? The problem with your reasoning is that it accepts defeat and shifts away from responsibility. Can’t Nigeria stand out in the midst of those foreign adversary groups? What is the purpose of the armed forces and the international boundaries?
You stance is to throw your hands up in surrendering posture and let these people have their way, irrespective of the fact that we have a commander in chief.
How ironic is it that you appeal to the sovereignty of Nigeria, yet helpless when it comes to defending that sovereign status.
