Hmnn it's well. Let's see how the next elections will be. For me I don't belong to any political party. My concern is to see a Nigeria that will truly make us all proud and not shameful as it is today and as it has been all this while. I am truly not happy with everything with Nigeria. And I happen to know that it's leadership we lack. The curse bedeviling is the leadership. Boss just look at the amount of money stolen by human beings like Malam and Emefiele, look at the kind of loans we are taking even when we removed the subsidy, look at the presidential pardon we are giving criminals, look at the way things are going. It's really sad. I am afraid I cannot defend what is bad. What leads to loss of lives and hypocrisy. I am not a saint sir but I strongly feel I must lean on a d hold onto my conscience so that when I meet my Maker i will be happy and have clean heart.

I agree with you that we are not doing so well and not where we are meant to be but There is no messiah anywhere that will come and rescue us from our current predicament with the current constitution we are operating and that’s why Tinubu is systematically trying to restructure the country and there won’t be a quick fix. The economy of Nigeria as been long battered and it will take years to get it right and by laying a solid foundation is one
The thing Tinubu administration is doing that’s why he is reforming most of our economic sectors and we can see the reforms and the economy trying to stabilise. He introduced some of the current reforms which as not been easy for the masses but we will all reap the benefits it a long term but it won’t be immediate. Most of the opposition candidates won’t be doing anything different if they take over and most of them have not been able to tell us their plans and what they will do differently. There are reforms going on in the economy, the local govt autonomy is also going to bring development closer to the grassroots and also how security architecture needs to be reformed and that’s why he is also working on the establishment of state security and many other reforms going on but some of this thing won’t be immediate because he as to work with the constitution and that’s why i will rather continue with a Tinubu who I already see the direction he is going than to vote someone who as no achievement or manifesto of what he will do differently and no disrespect to your choice of candidate which you have a constitutional right to vote whoever you want and btw thanks for keeping the convo civil unlike some psychopant obi supporter who will rather result to insulting opposing views.

I can see your own point of view boss but why he left the lp and later the adc was because based on thr mast elections that was held he was clearly the second runenr up with a large number of voters which clearly shows that if not that we have desperate people loke Mr Atiku who want to be president by all means he wild have won the elections. So he is trying to find a space where he can once again ey and see if he might use the same points ans appeal to try another shot. Instead of the other political heavy weights to support him and make coalitions they have chosen to stick to their guns and its why he has decided to seek other parties which is why he is where he is. To be fair to him I think it is not completely true that he sis not achieve anything in his state haba it sounds ludicrous sir. He must have done somethings to help his people.

like I said you have a right to support your candidate but your excuse about him decamping from different parties because of some party issues doesn’t suffice….obi was able to achieve a lot in Lp and he couldn’t stay to fix the party problems which were internal problems but rather decamped and that tells a lot about is lack of leadership.he also left to ADC but because he lacks confidence of contesting against a formidable opponent but rather wanted a soft landing by giving him the party ticket and that also show he lacks confidence and how will such a man win a national election? And lastly obi was able to win a section of the country and he based his campaign on religious sentiments and never campaigned on his achievements while in office as governor and that was why in did well in Christian dominated states and lost largely in the north and Sw, the two region with the highest number of registered voters and he couldn’t even meet the constitutionally required 25% mark in 24 state of the federation to show his spread and popularity so how can you claim he could have won an election he clearly lost?

To be honest with you I never stress or imply he is the best. And I acknowledge he must have his own shortcomings too. But what I am suggesting is that we give him a try. Those former governors you mentioned have their ugly past and even present. I am not an Obedient and I don't subscribe to any political party. I am just a Nigerian trying to see how we an save this our country from the like is those who create white elephant projects which as PFIPC or those who will openly state that we can continue liking ourselves while they continue eating our money with their families. and I’m telling you if we are to try any other person aside from Tinubu it is not someone who also as performed poorly in his past public office….and I told you if he had not been tried before now maybe you opinion about giving him a try might have sufficed but obi as no record of achievement as a governor and all his supporters have not been able to tell us what he did differently in small Anambala that can be used as a benchmark to give him our vote he couldn’t even manage party issues in a small party like Lp in which party he was able to get votes but decamped and he did same in ADC barely 3month of joining the party and also decamped so how can such a man possibly be the solution to our aged long problem as a country when he couldn’t solve problems of his immediate concerns talk more of a larger problem of Nigeria

These are one side opinions and clearly political. I think in his past history there are the good things he must have made or some. Even the present Head of the country had his own mistakes when he was governor of Lagos. No one is perfect. One thing I have not really got is in the issue of corruptly stealing and also in terms of corruptly running through afraid of Anambra state while he was governor. I am.not saying he was a saint of course he must have made mistakes this is understandable but what I am saying is his positive virtues. Let's give him a chance and see. After all this is a democracy if he fails we remove or vote him out after four years. Just my humble opinion though.

bikonu, can we have a list of his achievements while serving as a governor of anamabla?? all his obidient supporters seem to always avoid this question and keep telling us he saved money and he as no corruption cases on his neck but yet appeared in Pandora papers, saved state money in a bank in which he had interest and was also caught laundering 250million state money etc…..if he as never occupied a public office, that would have been a different case and maybe your suggestion of trying him would have sufficed but he already as a record of non achievements in his past public of and you may want to dismiss the opinion of people he once governed about him and call that of a sitting governor who as privilege information about a state obi once governed as political. But you want us to take your own word for it because you are who again? Pls spare us that. You have a right to support your candidate but don’t come and tell us he is a better alternative when majority of unbiased mind can see his past public record which is below average and did nothing spectacular even during his Time as governor, he was not among the best 5 performing governors that had the likes of fashola of Lagos, Akpabio of Akwa ibom and amaechi of rivers who all did better than him and pls don’t compare in with Tinubu because Tinubu as former governor of Lagos as far more achievements and landmarks to his name than obi and we can also tell that by the continuety of progress made by his successor which he mentored laying a solid foundation for them which as made Lagos a choice destination and the 5th largest economy in Africa
