However, I can tell you Hangzhou is a great city because I've been there before. Since universities in China are becoming attractive alternatives to Western ones, I won't be surprised there already exists a decent number of African students at the university in question. if you stay for a long perod of time (+2 months) then you might as well look for a room to rent somewhere, unless you want your own apt. the problem with Guangzhou is that majority of people who want to buy from big manufacturers end up there, thus Chinese understand that and charge a bit more for foreigners rentals etc. since i assume you dont speak/read Chinese, find a Chinese person to help you find a place to stay from rentals in Chinese (aka for locals), and within a few hours, you will find a bunch of options 10x cheaper to live in.

now whether or not these landlords would want to rent to a black LAOWAI is up to them!

I really don't know how your kids are,I would have suggested the mum but who knows what will be the outcome but my take is,invite your mum and probably your kid sister fit come over but I'm not in support of only ur kid sister, and never stop your ex from hanging out with the kids, go for therapy and also go out more..

Lastly... never get married till your kids are older or a graduate, reason being that most women tends to override kids that aren't theirs, which I'm sure everyone here knows that,the worst is kids from her husband's previous marriages.... but if you have brothers that can beat you up and do whatever to ur wife,den you fit marry. But sarcasm apart, no try marry till kids are grown properly
