Not necessarily. There are remote and immediate causes of death, no matter the age. "Natural causes" will be him just peacefully expiring on his bed. Dolly Parton was 80, but the cause of her death was health issues which she had been battling for years.

At eighty-something, there's no cause of death that's going to trump old age in my books😹. Even Parton was old enough to be called to eternal glory.

The real problem isn’t whether the money exists as Ramphosa says. it’s who absorbs the risk as Dangote emphasizes.

Make power projects bankable in local currency, match debt to the currency of cash flows, provide credible FX guarantees where necessary, and use government only to de-risk the structure rather than subsidize bad projects. Once currency risk, pricing risk and political risk are properly allocated, private capital will follow.

And all of that is doable in a society headed by a credible and efficient government.
