BTW weldone Madrid and Ronaldo.
one barca fan dey vex this night and complaining of red card, nawa oo, even without the red card they will still win and they where wining, even the player wey dem give am no be even key player na substitute. Haba
goldfish80: Sometimes stats can be subjective. If Kayode won the top scorer with 17 goals while Henry couldn't win with 24 goals, it simply tells me that the Austrian league is tougher and defences are tighter than the league in Belgium. Rating a player by the club he plays is not good analysis, when you factor in that the last 2 Premier league Mvps, Mahrez and Kante were playing at a very low level in France just a couple of seasons back before taking the Epl by storm and smashing every record on their way to success.
The thing is that there is no, better goal scorer n Austrian league not that they have better defence. don't compare French league and Austrian league or even Belgium, Ligue 1 is ahead of this two. I want them kayode n henry to move to a better league then we can see who is justified to be in the super eagles.
goldfish80: I don't think Kelechi is that better than Kayode Olarenwaju who have been the highest scoring Nigerian player in Europe over the last 2 seasons. That is not a record to be waved aside.
I know the question about the strength of the league he plays in will be pointed at, but when you consider that most goals Kelechi have scored in the Epl have been close range tap ins, one can argue that Kayode can score those goals all things being equal. Don't throw Kayode under the bus. He's better than that.
Brother, if kayode is as good as you think, he would av been in a better club last yr na, look at henry for example he just performed just this season and clubs r hustling for him, kayode won highest goal scorer with just 17 goals, but henry scored 22 goals but still cldnt win highest goal award, it shows you that Austrian league is not even competitive to Belgium league talk more of EPL.
Mickael2: simple! It wouldn't do us any harm at all. Kayode has been in top top form,I mean there was a report we read here, one NFF guy said Onyekuru? Is as fast as Kayode, to tell you that Kayode is their yardstick for pace so again I can repeat here and now that he is faster than Iheanacho. I watched the match highlights against Corsica and although people are so quick to condemn Onyekuru, Iheanacho missed two clear chances, one his pace let him down, the other he couldn't hit the target, let me repeat that last sentence, IHEANACHO WITH THE BEST SHOT TO GOAL RATIO IN THE EPL COULDN'T HIT THE TARGET, that's evidence of lack of confidence, his penalty too showed it, look at his face after scoring the penalty he felt so releived. But Kayode is the man on song right now, I remember when Costa was messing up, Spain invited Alcacer immediately and he started their games, football is all about form not quality
Oga your sentiment is highly noted, from what you just said I believe you don't like iheanacho, but right now he is the best striker we have in camp. I watched the friendly against Senegal where he (iheanacho) missed two chances, one was a very clear chance while the other was partially not his fault cos the defenders was already around him. But you refused to see the clear chance kayode wasted also in that match, what he needed was just touch the ball and it will be at the back of the net, but he fluffed, that was his first match. Am not saying he isn't good cos that was his best chance in that game, but you can't compare him to Iheanacho.
Joebie: Which is why I don't think England should be his next destination. Right now he has a high degree of self-belief, which can plummet easily in England. He is talented no doubt. I can compare him to Messi to some extent. But Messi has that all-round quality -- a great team player.
Where else do you want him to go, La liga?, let's not be too critical cos no one knows the future, if English teams are coming for him and he has d zeal to lay there let him move , pls let's hold our thinking to ourselfs. You can't use ones situation to judge another, cos Musa n success flopped doesn't mean henry will flop too.
Joebie: Check your list, i've highlighted the players we want to see play. Also Uche Agbo, Mikel Agu, and Awaziem. Not forgetting Odey (for those who have been crying foul over his non-invitation before now). Now that's a handful.
Here is my proposed squad based on what we are hearing from the training camp.
Kelechi shld strike and henry to the left then etebo right, henry operates from the left most times and cuts in, etebo is also good in any position her versatllile, he can play even as GK

Check if ur browser can asses images, cos I can clearly see the pics, etebo, henry and ekong I can recognize, I think kayode is there too, but d rest looks new, and ebuehi as well
Icon4s: .....not to talk of best player in Belgium.
He missed out cos his team didn't win anything, and relatively unknown, even Harry kane was not given d player of the year, moreover there are other players in Belgium who r better.
TheSuperNerd: Osimhen on and off due to Injury?? Wetin you mean by on and off? Osimhen just played his first bundesliga game last week or so and was very impressive for the 39mins+ that he featured.
Lad was injured and that alone delayed his debut for Wolfsburg. So I don't get this your on-and-off song....
Plsss let us be fair abeg. And as for Awo.... boyyy! I am happy lad is scoring goals again.... I am one of those on this thrrad who have never given up on Awoniyi but you saying he is in better form than Osimhen is laughable because he just started scoring not up to two weeks ago and Osimhen was already invited even before Awo's first goal..... and the list for Corsica friendly was already drawn up by Rohr before release.
So you wanna rush Awo too into the national team?? Is this how Reactionary some of you guys are?? Haba!!!
You react easily to one or two goals? Leave Awo to settle in and work his way into that fine consistent scoring talent that we know he is.... na wa oooo.
I have explained why Osimhen keeps getting his call-up. Lad is something very special and Rohr knows what he is doing with the lad.
You still haven't explained what made oshimen special to be invited, from your point of view it is simply favoritism or overhyped. How many games did oshimen play for wolvesburg before being invited?, Awo has been playing but the goals wasn't coming, he has also been assisting, oshimen call up is not justified abeg. Saying that the coach sees potential in him is not tangible
Icon79: Is he going to West Ham now? Somebody needs to get me this guy's phone number!
Why go to West Ham when Everton is interested? A little birdie told me that Ronald Koeman wants to get him as a replacement for Ross Barkley who isn't gonna sign a new contract. And the plan is also get acquire Kelechi to replace Lukaku. My advice to Henry Onyekuru, the off season just started, be patience....take your time and make the best possible decision for your career.
O pari
Bro U just said it all and u r right, westham is not an ideal place for him to go, let him wait for Everton deal to mature.
Mickael2: Awoniyi? Ok now that's funny. I agree that Onyekuru is presently better than Oshimen. I mean Oshimen is playing for a mid table team in Germany where Leipzig is about to place second but this lad was wanted by perennial scotish champions, CELTIC!!! however I disagree that Awoniyi has been in better form than Oshimen
When I mean form, I also mean game time, clearly oshimen has been on and off due to injury, and not quite long ago he made his senior appearance and haven't scored any, if ever he will cos d season is over, but Awo has bagged 3 goals n last 3matches for club, based on form Awo shld be ahead thats it. But I guessed oshimen is more hyped than Awo thats just it.
AllforJesus7: No we are not talking position here. Rather the use of available slots. I have personally read someone's grudge on the exclusion of Onyekuru while 'untested' Osimhen keeps making the numbers. And that's the bone of arguement.
Besides kindly watch this Nig vs Zam highlight again.
How many of you felt sick in the stomach watching that game (at 0vs0 scoreline) when Simon wasted that chance with Ideye free beside him? And yes, Simon moses was once very much hyped too.
Please tell if Onyekuru does different in similar situation? He too does not pass and he doesn't play with his head up. These coaches i.e Rohr see these subtle things we refuse to acknowledge hence their reluctance to invite sone of these players we hype and clamour.
And yes Belgium is BACK WATER.... rated according to their performances in Europa or Champions league. Even the Dutch with the likes of Ajax rate above Belgium.
Well like Mikael2 and tbaba1234 stated, I would have to watch him play and not base my conclusions on highlights...... Even though I'm pretty sure 90% of people hyping him here also concluded from highlights.
Much congrats to him though. I'd love to see him in the mix of the eagles.
But I just want to correct the notion of seeing a player full of speed and dribbles and suddenly hyping him beyond clouds.
Oduamadi, simon, Babatunde, Ejike Uzoenyi, Musa (yes Musa too was banging in goals in Russia) etc....
We never get tired. Many of us have not learnt to understand technical players and those who will go far from the onset. Even club scouts give us a hint when big teams table bids for the gems (Osimhen, Nacho, Mikel when he was younger) while Mid to bottem level players like Westham come after our hypees........
Conclusion: All in all, we pray for the best for these boys and we pray they keep on progressing..... But hyping a player beyond what he is.....is doing ourselves disservice.

Bros your argument is baseless, all players have been hyped one way or the other so that doesn't make a difference, comparing simon's error to onyekuru is uncalled for, I know u liked oshimen but he also has not been tasted in the super eagles just like onyekuru so they both have to compete, but based on form and performance currently onyekuru edges him out, a good coach will always pick form when selecting. Also know that awoniyi have a better form than oshimen this season and I see no reason why he is not selected ahead of oshimen.
So happy for Awoniyi getting the goals now, enough competition to iheanacho, either get playing time at city, or move away from city if not he gets obsolete.
I love the recognition onyekuru is getting now, he is showing the evolution of football which doesn't depends on strikers alone to have appetite for goals, onyekuru has an enormous appetite and he is a number 7, guess who else got appetite even though he is not a striker, yes u r right CR7 d legend. if henry keeps up this pace he may well be called Cr7 of Africa.

Liverpool and Southampton watched £6m-rated Henry Onyekuru score his 17th goal of the season for Eupen in the Belgian League. The attacker has been outstanding this season scoring 5goals in last 4 matches. He has also attracted attention from Celtic, West Brom, bournmouth, Arsenal, Chelsea, fernebache and Leipzig who are jostling for the signature of the 19 yr old. He is destined to move away from the Belgian side after showing so much promises, he is also in contention for the Belgium player of the year.
