Happy new year, wishing all fruitful 25. Please there is a question I want to ask and will be happy if I can get a solution or advise.

I am a Resident in Lithuania and I have visited UK in 2023 like 3 times , when I renewed my UK visit visa in 2024, I travelled to UK in January in 2024 where I met my wife and we got married in Nigeria in Dec 2024. Though between 2024 jan and DeC 2024 I have visited her in the UK so many times .

She works as a senior care worker in her place of work as she came in 2023 before the changes in the immigration laws .

Please what are the things to be done in order to join her as a dependant in the UK , I legally live in Lithuania, what are the documents I need to submit together with hers , I need advise about going about it .

Thanks

* You cannot use the old GTB VISA fee payment receipt to book appointment on the new website just straight away like that.

1. Visit the new website AVITS ;

https://www.usvisaappt.com/visaapplicantui/login

Then sign up with the applicant's details and after signing up, go to support on your left hand side to open a ticket (complain message). You will have to attach the applicant MRV payment receipt from GTB along with the message, explaining to them to grant her appointment booking access.

🙏

Thanks for your response, I applied from
Europe here , it 8 weeks already and have not heard from them, I have move on , they offer keep ur passport option here in Europe but don’t know about Nigeria, if they approve it fine and if they don’t life must go on , thanks for ur input

Ashirioluwa:
The Irish Embassy used the FIFO method in their visa processing.

It takes about 3 months to process, and it's first come, first served. You can't fast-track, and it has been like that for years.

You can as well check their week decisions to see.

It would be hard to get US visa from Lithuania if your residence in Lithuania will end shortly after you graduate.
There's really nothing keeping you in Lithuania
I have valid Residency permit till Dec 31, how best can I go about it

Good afternoon, please I want to make an inquiry here, will be happy if someone can help me throw more light , please , I have applied for Irish Visa before in dec 2023 and I was granted though is a tourist visa but I could not go to Ireland due to flu and fever and the application takes 2 weeks as I have visited UK like 12 times last year when I applied for the Irish visa .

So comes 2024, I applied for the tourist visa again to spend my Easter break 2024 in Ireland as I explain in my new application reason why I do not use the first Irish visa granted as a result of fever and flu.

I have submitted since February 2024, and is now passed a month now and I have not heard from the embassy as my travel dates is less than 72 hours and until now I have not receive any decision as I have valid 2 years UK visa and I have visited Britain 2 times between January and February, 2024.

Imagine the travel dates pass, can still they issue the visa from experience, though am still expecting pick up message from them today or tomorrow if God wishes, please I need advice ,

Thanks for the response, is it magistrate in Nigeria or UK , cos the country I Dey, is not English speaking cocountry. The process for there they cubersome , if I choose UK, how can I approach tit, what’s the process like , thanks

Hannania:
You don't need to loud the wedding if you're not ready for the big occasion. If your parents agree(personal to you), just head down to a magistrate court and get married and process your visa.

first time i stay 4 days, second trip 5 days, third trip 8 days, forth trip 10 days last visit 5 days, i fly to UK from europe, ticket so cheap i do exit back to my country of residence Lithuania.

residency ke, no, i never apply for any category except visit visa

AmeliaT:
Indeed your questions are rather strange.

The first one about number of times visited is a no brainer. You’ve been there 5 times in the last 10 years.

The question about leave to remain- have you applied for British permanent residency? Yes or no?

Allow me to ask this. In the last 5 times you’ve been within 5 months, why did you go so frequently if you don’t have friends or family?
How long did you stay each time?
What was the time duration between visits?
Where did you exit to?

I ask this because it is forbidden to “live in the UK for long periods of time through frequent or successive visits” and it may seem like you’re doing that.

not agent bro or scammer o, just asking because this is my first renewal, just want to b on s safer side, kindky help me adress this

Thegamingorca:
I find it impossible to believe someone who has been through the hurdles of a previous visa application before, who has been to the UK atleast more than once would be asking these kind of questions on another tourist visa application.

Who are you exactly?!

Are you an agent or you dey try scam person?
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Soraco57(m): 9:33am On Dec 25, 2023

Select why you were in the UK:
(Required)

Tourism (including visiting family and friends)

Transit (travelling through the country)

Other reason

i was visitng the uk for tourism , i like adventure as i do not have family or friends there , which option will i choose because in the option 1 they ask tourism { friends and family) which ones is the best to choose among the option

secondly, Have you applied for leave to remain in the UK in the past 10 years? yes or no, i do not understand this
