They Are Already Dying Before Buhari. Saying Things or mocking the dead is not an activity I like to engage in but there is obviously something to learn from this. Death can knock on anybody's door at any point in time regardless of age. Tell Ayo Fayose that the Benue State Comm, for Rural Development, Chief Aondowase Chia who described Buhari as "quarter to go" died yesterday. He was middle aged. RIP to the dead. |
The Benue State Commissioner for Rural Development and Cooperatives, Mr. Aondowase Chia, slumped and later died in the hospital. |
General Muhammadu Ilufemiloye Chukwuemeka Buhari is hale and hearty. What shall it profit PDP and its online goons to peddle falsehood against the people's General when Nigerians have already decided. No amount of propaganda can change our mind. GEJ must return to Otuoke. I say no to a President who doesn't give a damn about his people. Sai Buhari Sai the People's General |

The greater surprise would be when GMB emerges as the president of this country while the greatest surprise would come when you and other corrupt elements are sent to jail.... |

Too many lies against Buhari By Adeleke Sodiq Olalekan 27/12/2014, 04:45pm Tell no lies, claim no easy victory... Amilcar Cabral. This polemic is not to sing anybody's praise but to leave history undistorted. A distorted fact is not too good for a society for the fact that it will serve as a point of reference for some people later. Am not afraid of anybody's ax but please be factual. 1. Buhari will islamize Nigeria Some mischievous elements have been peddling falsehoods that the people's general is planning to tamper with the secular nature of the country to make it an islamic state when he emerges as the president. Buhari had ample opportunity to achieve this when he ruled the country as a military dictator for almost 2 years but he never did. Mind you, this is a new dispensation and I believe such agenda will not see the light of the day should he have such motive. Have you ever thought of the bureaucratic procedures a president has to follow to achieve this? Have you thought of the stiff opposition that would greet such gesture? 2. Buhari will infect Nigeria with his wretchedness. Nigeria is that country where we celebrate depravity and subject uprightness to outright condemnation. General Buhari is not wretched but he is only a poor man in the Nigerian context. As a public office holder in Nigeria, you are expected to amass more than enough money and subject the rest of the country to agony. Your failure to steal money will attract the tag 'abnormal' to your name. It is very true that General Buhari had numerous opportunities to register his name in the list of richest men in Africa but he never deemed it necessary. people like Buhari are rather celebrated in saner climes where people see politics not as a money making enterprise. I believe Nigeria will attain that height in the shortest of time if we vote for the right people. Buhari will rather infect Nigeria with his uprightness!!! 3. "Buhari is too old" The same set of people told us in 2011 that Nuhu Ribadu was too young to lead Nigeria. Is this not double standard? Well, I prefer an old man with vision to a clueless young man. Moreover, Ronald Reagan emerged as American president at approximately 70 years and ruled the country for 8 years from 1981- 1989. He left office when he was 78 years of age. Even our own Mandela became the president of south Africa at the age of 75. 4. "Buhari is a religious bigot" Well, you probably need to revisit your history textbook if you are one of those people who believe Buhari is a religious bigot. Check the composition of his ministers and governors when he ruled Nigeria for 20 months between jan 1984- August 1985. Moreover, he would not have picked a christian as a running mate if he was actually a religious bigot. Let me end it here for now as I have personal issues to attend to at the moment. |
