@1odogwu

You did not get an appointment letter? LMAO Joking O, I said possible scenarios and 2 out of 3 played out. I think that's a good score.

Well if you are right about salary then cool, good luck amigo but if they give 80K then am sure they will re negotiate if more than half decline. So really, federal govt will negotiate or reconsider.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Nigeria Identity Management Commission (nimc) Interview & Pay Struct.! by Sosolid123: 7:07pm On Mar 15, 2011
Mine lasted 10-15minutes and they try to ask technical question and pay .

question like

why do you want to work for NIMC
why do you want to move from private to public sector
some technical stuff but remember all of them are not technical so you are probably the only one who understands what you are talking about grin

Salary is what you wrote down for KPMG . they will gasp abut how high it is but I assume they would have a standard price for everyone who are on the same level.

@1odogwu

I was right in my prediction the interview was to have a quick chat and nothing serious just to see whether you really fit the role or not and o talk about salaries etc

My next prediction is everyone who is called to Abuja is employed, all that will be given out is employment letter next or if they cant match your salary expectation they will negotiate with you and it is up to you to decide. But remember it is already in the bag,
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Nigeria Identity Management Commission (nimc) Interview & Pay Struct.! by Sosolid123: 7:55pm On Mar 12, 2011
I got a call too. She did not mention interview again O, from what I recall she just said i shuld show at the DGs office.

to be honest there are only 3 scenarios

1. Those called are successful and will be given employment letters

2.to have a quick chat and nothing serious just to see whether you really fit the role or not

3. To talk about salaries etc

anyway we are almost there ppl,

Hey,

had my own interview almost two weeks ago and till now no news, even all the ppl i contacted have not had any feedback yet.

I think they are aiming for March/April start since budget will be available for them to commence.

The salary structure is not civil servants, they are looking at the professional out fit and that is why it is being moved under the presidency.

The only thing I am waiting for is the call to know what happens next after the interview.

Good Luck ppl
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Nigeria Identity Management Commission (nimc) Interview & Pay Struct.! by Sosolid123: 11:54pm On Jan 31, 2011
@kay

Yes there will be 2 rounds, not that I was told but logically there should be 2. KPMG approving those for the Job and then NIMC getting theirs to kind of approve them since we will be working for NIMC and not KPMG.

NIMC should have the final say. If I was a manager in NIMC I would like to at least talk to those who KPMG will be approving and working under or for me.

Once again I can be wrong this is Nigeria so anything goes. :-)

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Nigeria Identity Management Commission (nimc) Interview & Pay Struct.! by Sosolid123: 5:29pm On Jan 30, 2011
@kay

I not to sure about the employment letter straight away as we still have to go to Abuja for the final interview with NIMC.

But i hope they get this over and done with this coming week. the suspense is Crazy, i did not know there was another set of us doing a separate test. anyway Good luck and will post any info I get on this

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Nigeria Identity Management Commission (nimc) Interview & Pay Struct.! by Sosolid123: 1:31am On Jan 26, 2011
Hey Kay,

Yes  I did the test and was called for an interview. Basically  if you did the test and you received an email informing you of your scores which is 50 and above pass mark you will be called for an interview. Another hint is that at the end of the mail it says " we shall contact you for further interviews" . For the interview, it is only just competent question so  since you applied for a Technical position be ready to answer technical questions.

Your second question, That is difficult question from what i have read  and heard, the commission is to be established properly starting from March/April and will be under the presidency. The pay structure  is difficult to predict as well, I think the advert will be for the first set of permanent technical workers. But i don't know anyone that works there so might be wrong.

well I hope this helps answer your questions.

Can you help me as well, Is the interview process still going on as I assumed it should have been over since last week?
