It is exactly like entering into a relationship with a person. You do not go in and immediately start throwing away all the things that person is accustomed to having.

It is exactly the same challenge the missionaries met with Africans when they came here and saw that Africans had more than 1 wife. They still brought Christianity to them and had relationships with them even though they had more than 1 wife.
