A tecno customer care said the internal memory for the application of Q1 is 503MB but ram is 460MB. d phone storage is 2gig of media and d like but dey belive its faulty as it dis nothing wen click on it.

the internal memory u saw (503MB) u saw is actually the RAM, if u go lower, u'll see the other memory capacities, i.e sd card memoy and phone memory!!!!

1... Tecno Q1 has internal or phone memory of exactly 503MB and not 4gig as its claim

2....Tecno Q1 has a battery rating same as of Tecno N3 /1450mah/ Remember it's has OS of dat of mighty tecno D5 and N7...... no doubt you can't experience long battery life.

3....Tecno Q1 gamming is too bad but not worst .....you may not noticed this if you're new to android phones or haven't play games on N3, D5 And N7 before as shaking d screen won't give you perfect stirring.

4.... Tecno Q1 heating rate is too much

5.....Tecno Q1 speaker is not encouraged.

from dis specifications .......

p3 is better dan n3. aside front and merely useless flash light ......but d dual core processor. dis will solve d lagging problem of n3.
Also der price is almost d same.... so I'll advice you pick up p3.....

The only worry is d battery life coz from d specifications, it shows dat d battery life is nt strong....... 6hours of music and 3.5hours of talk......when my d5 can play almost a day music and 10hours talk... n3 can also play music longer dan 12hours....
I think dis phone battery is a replica to Q1........when people purchase d phone we shall know how strong d battery is.

I totally disagree with most of the specifications given to n3 aside the fact that I don't like n3 coz I dash friend and purchase d5 coz I have full access to wireless...... and d5 is superb.


here are the modification to what the writer writes .....

1..n3 has a phone memory of 175MB I believe n3 users can actually figure this out...... by going to setting, then to application and add up their used and the free memory together ...which will equal to 175MB......

2. Tecno N3 has an user ram of 390MB even all ram booster available on Google play prove it to be 409...... go to setting and figure it out as well.

3..Tecno n3 support e-book download any book and download e-book reader as well.....what user does not understand is the more tecno install their own application the less the memory becomes ......this is because it will not allow you to move it into your memory card.

4....Tecno p3 support GPS download it from Google play and you're free to go.

5......Tecno N3 support gamming and user of tecno n3 can attest to this.

Above all..............Please posting of what that can confused user is not that good.

Sir.... I owned tecno d5 and tecno n3......
but my younger brother have Q1 which last for 10 hours when fully used.

I also put my own phone to sleep when I sleep and awake when I does. this also save battery alots coz most times I will be browsing or watching movies and sleep catch me..... the phone battery will surely drained before the next day.

go to setting to do that.....

for instance........ off @12;30 am and on @ 6:30am every day.

The annoying part is the phone battery doesn't last even for half a day after full charging. Pls is there anyone with the same xperience?

I have tecno n3 with just 175mb internal memory..... and d most annoying thing is that.....it force to close application. you won't believe that, just flashing will close your opera mini. how can you say n3 beatz when compare with almighty tecno Q1 with excitement features and perfect specification.

4gigabyte internal memory nor be joke o! Plus 5mp camera & 0.3mp front camera. Aha... That's a plus for Tecno Q1. Lest I forget it has 1ghz processor compared with N3 that has 800mhz processor.

naijagadgetbox: Asides the low RAM, absence of updates and lack of custom roms (how many devs would take their time creating or porting custom roms to Tecno phones?), another thing I'm not feeling on these Tecno android phones are their screens! Pixel density and color quality are quite poor. Display quality (+fonts) still looks China phone-ish. I had to change my neighbour's default clock widget because too many people were thinking his N3 was a fake knockoff Chinese phone. Like seriously, sure, they're making pocket friendly android phones for our local market. Still doesn't mean they can't do something a bit higher end. I mean, c'mon!

N7 is a big waste. I regret buying 1. d ram is just 450mb and d os has taken more frm it, u only left wt little.
d screen just big and large wt useless screen resolution of 480 by 800 same wt nokia ñ900. wt result in picture fadin and poor graphics.

I regret buyin n3 b4 migrate to d5 coz dere is no 3G network where I resided. and d most painful tin is I dey always browse wt d5 for free wt mtn line and all other application like gmail, whatapp, facebook, mozat, badoo were always online wtout experince any problem. above all nah chrome and mozilla I dey use to browse.
