@ kingsley i answered you before; your average of 237.5 puts you at position 76 or so in the first choice ranking in descending order. Now the quota is 49 for medicine and 70 in all. Quite unlikely your name will come out; if you know somebody that knows somebody then you can pull strings for departments in Faculty of Agriculture, Education science or lesser ones in Science.

There is a pool from which candidate to be admitted will be drawn from. To be in that pool you must have scored a minimum of 120 in post utme to which your jamb score will be added and if the figure is above 180 then you are considered.

If You score 120 in post utme and 180 in Jamb, the total is 300 and divided by 2 comes to 150 which means you are not qualified.

After much haggling and political horse trading the minimum considerable general cut off is an average of 180 for those who scored 120 and above in the screening exercise.

Its a very sad situation as it enables people with low scores who have the money to now do runs are get in. We had hoped they will use a more simpler method of minimum post utme score of say 168 but welcome to Nigeria.

At least 1 university staff involved in runs during the screening exercise has lost his job. He was a junior staff and computer operator recently transferred from ICTC.

There was a mix up somewhere anyway lets have some tangibles to discuss.

The first admission quota for Economics as approved is 127 to be shared via 3 criteria.

RSUST has been in crisis for a very long time ever since the "FAKAE" failed in his re election bid.

Most of the lecturers are on strike with some of them moving to other universities. RSUST has now began to hire lecturers on sabatical from other universities. These lecturers are mostly professors who were not doing much in their former universities.

Tajudeen40: i noticed something about this year post ume which makes me suspect it credibility.......what i notice is the high score cand usuall finish their test before the 30 minut alloted time ,example a student score 272 in just 17 minute, infact all the high score i saw sofar did not finish their aloted time given to them ....i think uniport needs to introduce biometric in post ume because i strongly believe that most people did not write the post ume by themself ........

The use of impersonators this year was too much. Even heard some nairalanders were involved. So much racket, one guy even wrote for like 10 people but his luck ran out - all 10 of which 7 saw their scores had em seized.

You guys have still not solved my riddle; i know oga otokx knows whats up. Anyway happy holidays.

your range is 51 - 55, for merit no, maybe later in supplementary which is a bit tricky

your range using the averaging method is 115 - 120, not a chance in english unless your leg over long. Delta state has a high population here.

Guys it is either of these things.

It is either you read well like nerosoft and pass very well and get in on merit; no matter how the data was analyzed nerosoft was always no 1 and that was because of something otokx advised him to do without his knowing.

It appears the system was codified for only petroleum engingeering so all those in Gas were moved to petroleum but nerosoft being on ground complained and otokx told him to go to ictc and have his dept moved to Gas which was done. Others just were told to write in Petroleum that later they would be moved to gas which now is not done.

If you do not score well then pray well that the mercy will come to thee that is you are on the borderline.

Some people know people, some others have money and that is the sound truth.

Do you remember when Oga otokx told you guys that the data online will be analyzed and its the analyzed data that will be used?

Thank God that you are from BY and you are a bit on the border line if not you would either push a button or just go buy another jamb form next year.

this year it appears the criteria set will be different they will average and then subject that so some sort of cut. For instance they may say everyone with 128 and above in post utme and add back the jamb and then say if your average is above maybe 200 stay if not drop. That final score will now be ranked from the highest to the least. From the merit list we shall be able to know for sure what really transpired.

Some people say their aunty know a lecturer who has promised to help; that is fair and square, pushing of button is at your own risk and truth be told some buttons work wonders like lightning.
