Oh my God, the people have long lost confidence in the police. i want to believe nobody in the mob has any phone line to call because the police are too far from us. secondly, these boys, no doubt must have done something wrong but let us look at the case of Cynthia osokogwu? the rule of law is slow in Nigeria and i can not in my nigerian mind remember the last time a murder case was solved. the people have lost confidence in the rule of law. we have a long way to go. some stories say police vans escorting jeeps of big men drove past and could not be bothered to know what was happening, truth is our judicial system needs to be totally revamped, community policing has to be introduced at some point - mind you every passing week, somebody is lynched somewhere in Nigeria.

how do you stop confraternity in tertiary institutions! there are frat groups abroad too so stop mouthing nonsense. even if we agree these boys have been bad, is this the way to treat humans? the state governor of rivers is a bästard - he should not be voted in the next election if he doesn't go to aluu community and arrest their community leaders and their first sons for this barbaric act! how are these people different from boko haram?

The state governor is on the last lap of his tenure and may almost certainly go into senate in the next election.

Night waka no good o that is the morale of the story and the school authorities recognizing this placed a ban on all social activities insisting it end latest is it 6 or 8pm but trust Nigerians to flout laws, even the religious bodies all them church organizations would not agree.

cultism down here is strong o, there are some joints in some areas you dare not enter and of course there are some girls you are not to be found talking or even sitting near to, its mostly in second semester that they normally have this kind of violence and the school is currently in second semester.

The commissioner for information Ibim Semenitari says the traditional ruler of Aluu community has been arrested. According to reports, he ordered the killing of the boys. The order for arrest was given by the state governor Chibuike Ameachi

sorry to burst your bubble but that would never happen, not even in a thousand years, from the look of things the governor is a very wise man. There is no riot in Port Harcourt, the likes of Linda Ikeji and co are spreading falsehoods over the internet but everything is peaceful in Port Harcourt, even in UNIPORT and in all the neighboring villages.

There appears to be a disconnect between what is happening online and what is happening in the real world, people should place calls to Port Harcourt and indeed UNIPORT. It appears falsehoods and propangada have taking over and that indeed no riot whatsoever is taking or has taking place in those areas over any matter.
