SLIDEwaxie:slidewaxie,i commend them because I appreciate their efforts, even though that's their responsibility. What happened to the people staying around that area, why couldn't they help the woman?you want to tell me if the woman was related to any of the residents there, she would be left till emergency service comes to rescue her? Yet we shout love thy neighbour as the self,we talk about love, kindness, yet we can't help a helpless woman on the road... Let's appreciate good gestures and encourage them,in no time Nigeria will be great...Shalom.. |
nice one from the emergency service...Better late than never...GOD bless Nigeria... |
That is a good suggestion coming from Senator Ben Bruce,if only our politicians could work the talk,Nigeria will become great sooner than expected... |
so many people allow their sentiments to take the better part of their reasoning. Read through the post and see where imam of the OAU mosque said, “This is to inform public school teachers and civil servants that the mosque will be offering assistance to them. We realise that you have not been paid for so long. As part of our concerns, we will be providing assistance to you. All you need to do is to submit your name, phone number, your school and the name of your school principal.” The post didn't say for a particular group of people...Lets learn to read posts, understand the posts before making comments, constructive comments anyways not hate filled, immatured comments...Let peace reign... |
noblezone:@noblezone,I'm sorry if you misconstrued my post,I didn't insinuate you are a killer or anything as such,i just feel your clamour for division is not fair, we all need each other..All tribes need each other. These killings will stop, our securities now know they have a lot to do,and I'm optimistic these senseless killings will be a thing of the past soonest. ![]() |
fx45:so sad you think the best way to convey your message and disagree with my post is by calling me a parasite.. ![]() Funny enough,Google brought me to this site, reading through some posts just showed me the way many people quarrel over issues that could be settled amicably whilst driving home your point without resulting to name calling. You could be a leader of this country tomorrow, will your style of leading be selfish by not listening to others who have opinions different from yours?will you be going about insulting people because they preach peace and unity?who do you admire between Nelson Mandela and Ghadaffi?let me not bore you with my questions. Search your heart @fX45 ... |
you are entitled to your emotions @noblezone,the "herdsmen and the jihadists" feel the same way you do,but showing so much hate, towards others not from your ethnic group, because a small group of people causing havoc is not healthy..Just open your heart to peace, that's the emotional water of life...Thank you. noblezone: |
"I am a strong individualist by personal habit, inheritance, and conviction;but it is a mere matter of common sense that the state, the communities, the citizens acting together, can do a number of things better than if they were left to individual action"----Theodore Roosevelt.. Division is not an option, this country will be great with our collective differences and understanding..Let us unite and be peaceful..We dont need a Niger delta republic nor a biafra republic, neither do we need oduduwa republic nor Arewa republic.. |
"keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions.Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great"---Mark Twain.. Creative and Nice..keep it up.. |
...just as war can start in 24hours, so also can we get peace in 24hours..Violence is never an option.
|
barcanista:Pre-empting violence? Never sir..i won't grant you the pleasure of joining issues with you, just be open minded when you criticize so you can be at PEACE with yourself. "He that would live in PEACE and ease must not speak all he knows or all he sees"-----Benjamin Franklin.. |
@OP, the picture may look funny to you,but do you know you just passed a peaceful message? jungle justice is not a way out,we have laws to punish offenders.Lets SAY NO TO VIOLENCE. |
Dont be quick to believe all you read from the media..
|
barcanista:Please dont read my post from a political angle, read it from a peace angle...I am not for any post that triggers violence, the use of harsh words, name callings,i just want brilliant contributions devoid of hate..you get? Thanks. ![]() |
Not everybody is hating, just be objective in your criticism, thats all... "The most valuable possession you can own is an open heart. The most powerful weapon you can be is an instrument of PEACE"-----Carlos Santana. |
nasoeb:This is a way to inner peace:overcome evil with good, falsehood with truth, hatred with love, and respect people so they will respect you too. ![]() |
"it is more difficult to organize peace than to win a war;but the fruits of victory will be lost if the PEACE is not organized"----Aristotle quotes.. i just wish these political parties will just stop heating up the polity, also we citizens should be wise with our choice of words when we choose to believe or not, what we read.. |
I want to live long enough to see the day people will put aside their differences and work hand in hand to achieve that state of acceptance of themselves and their surroundings, also known as PEACE. -- Nadia Kelifa quotes.. Why so much hatred in our heart?why cant we live peacefully?we attend our different places of worship, where love and PEACE is preached,we believe there's a supreme being who we are going to give account of our lives to,so why spend so much energy on hating? No tribe can survive alone,we are Nigerians and UNITED WE MUST STAND.. |
May the souls of the departed find peace with their maker..Violence is never an option to a happy life,PEACE is.. The words we choose to use when we communicate with each other, carry vibrations. The word ‘war’ carries a whole different vibration than the word ‘peace’. The words we use are showing how we think and how we feel. The careful selection of words, helps to elevate our consciousness and resonate in higher frequencies.” ― Grigoris Deoudis |
Reading comments here just shows how evil the heart of some people are...Can't we relay our objective comments and opinions PEACEFULLY without having to insult others with opinions different from ours? whilst we need to criticize this government so our country Nigeria can be great,we should do that constructively. “Ultimately, we have just one moral duty: to reclaim large areas of peace in ourselves, more and more peace, and to reflect it toward others. And the more peace there is in us, the more peace there will also be in our troubled world.” ― Etty Hillesum |
mployer, you don't know which of the political divide i belong to,so you aint in any position to attach my message of peace to any political party.. i have never been a supporter of "name callings" and i condemn it totally..These people we refer to as "clueless","indomie brain",illiterate",e.t.c are some people's children,fathers,mothers,relatives...So if we show respect to ours, why cant we respect others? i will leave you with this quote from Gautama Buddha "Peace comes from within,do not seek it without" ![]() mployer: |
Before you post that hate comment ,ask yourself what you would gain after unleashing that hate part of you,if nothing, then its not worth it.. criticize objectively and let the peace within you radiate through your words and actions..Nigeria can only get better...SAY NO TO VIOLENCE.. |
The day the power of love overrules the love of power, the world will know peace"......Mahatma Gandhi...SAY NO TO VIOLENCE.. |
