The whole process itself took me about an hour. But I got there 8am and I didn't leave until 1pm.
The officer-in-charge didn't arrive until 11am. Then he asked that my guarantor must be physically present - thank God the guy was able to make it.
After these hiccups, it was pretty straightforward. I was given 3 forms to make duplicates of, fill them and buy a file for them. Then he went through all the documents I brought, added them to the file, ask for the passport photographs, attached them to the file, and write stuff on the file. That was it.

And he said I should come for capturing by August 18th, which I feel it's too far BTW.

I submitted my DIY documents at the Abeokuta office on Wednesday and I was asked to come for capturing by August 18th (6 weeks after).

From my own experience, someone can't collect your passport for you, you need to be physically present 'cox there are somethings that need to be done yourself after collection

As for the 1st question, I did my renewal last year and i saw this number online and called it, I was asked to come for collection 09069000006. Someone posted up here that you can alternatively check their website for list of ready passport.

Good evening sir, on the first question, I'll advice you to be patient, you're still on track and there is no cause for alarm but be observant all the same. On the second question, it could be a skin condition like ectoparasitic infestation or any condition that can irritate the skin. On the last question, just simply give food rich in protein and calories also supplement with fruits and vegetables like carrots and spinach. the only place u can renew wit NIN is Lagos Abuja and port Harcourt. You use d old pp name and renew in any state apart 4rm dis three state
