Anybody who would buy the laptop would look at it despite the pictures I am sending. I do not expect anybody to pay money for a laptop without having a good look at it. I dont believe ASUU. They have the habit of calling of strikes when some of their demands are met. When i was in uni between 1999 and 2003 ASUU went on strike at least twice because of the sacked university of ilorin lecturers. The strikes were called off without the lecturers being reinstated. I dont know whether those lecturers have now been reinstated. This same university funding issue was past of their demands during their strike in 2003 this strike lasted for 6 months and i was one of the thousands of students that were the proverbial grass that suffered.

I dont think every northerner is a member of boko haram. Mallam Kabir Sokoto the boko haram suspect that escaped from the police a few days ago is a graduate of physics and chemistry. I dont think we would ever have any President or Petroleum Minister that would not be accused of corruption. Even if the Archbishop of Lagos becomes a Petroleum Minister somebody some where would wake up one morning and start manufacturing stories. There is no need taking sides because if any naijarian or any nairalander becomes Petroleum Minister one of two things would happen, 1. you would steal money 2. you would not steal money but other naijarians especially those of other tribes would invent damaging stories and more than half of Naijarians would believe you are corrupt.

This is why national honours should not be given to serving government officials. Those giving national honours should wait until serving officials finish their tenure then the whole tenure can be accessed. When the Naija President sacks the IGP he should also withdraw the national honour given to him. He never deserved it in the first instance.

Its weird that many Naijarians even those that classify themselves educated are not aware that we have Joint Venture agreements with the oil majors. I'm inclined to believe that most people on this forum are posting from outside Nigeria where fornication and adultery reign supreme. This is because i'm astounded by the replies some people have made on this thread. Why must we be quick to glorify every evil thing. What is wrong in someone asking ladies to dress properly in public because it's provocative to the eyes. We complain of r.ape, molestation etc, but we don't know that's acts like indecent dressing that drive some men to temporary insanity. Men are not metals that will see such intimate objects and not react.

I think a law should be passed to sue anyone that wears anything provocative. If r.ape is bad, so is provocative dressing. Nonsense.

I disagree with the statement that fornication and adultery reign supreme abroad, this tends to give the impression that fornication and adultery do not reign supreme in Nigeria. I have lived in Nigeria and I have also lived abroad, fornication and adultery reign supreme abroad and in Nigeria.

The only difference is that while most of those who commit fornication and adultery do not go to church abroad, those that commit fornication and adultery in Nigeria go to church every Sunday and some of them are workers, ministers and Pastors.
