I don't know sha, vibecoding is not something you teach someone. Like, just type what you want the Ai to build for you and refine it from there.

Easy peasy.
ProgrammingRe: Vibe Coding Journey: Vibe Coding 2 Apps per Week To Production by SparkleSix(op): 12:57pm On Feb 20
Google AI studio oneshotted the app in just 1 prompt.
Sweet...
But then some of the functionalities are not working.

So using Vercel, 1 created a Supabase database and copied the keys to Google Ai studio.

So far so good, it's not looking bad. Even though it needs lots of work but the auth flows are working.

And yes, I am currently vibecoding on an iPhone.

Sometimes ago I criticizes a guy's vibe coded forum but he thought I was against vibe coding. Truth is if you are not a developer not designer, you will always vibe code rubbish.
It is obvious this person above is a talented developer or designer or both.

All these newbies should come and learn and stop vibe coding rubbish. When they do, they should at least take our correction.
Well I was actually a Graphics Designer before I pivoted to UIUX then Backend dev then to Full stack.

That's like 7+ years across.

I still design even up till now as it was something I was so passionate about. I learnt Photoshop and Corel Draw when I was16 years.

My last design is below.

Saw this from Upwork. This should be easy for Google AI to one shot at a go.
Let me see what it can spin up.

ProgrammingVibe Coding Journey: Vibe Coding 2 Apps per Week To Production by SparkleSix(op): 11:16am On Feb 20
Alright so I will be taking up the task of vibe coding 2 apps a week to production.

My tool stack:
Google AI studio
Stitch for UI
Anti-gravity IDE for final touches
Netlify/Vercel for deployment.

I have actually vibe coded 3 big apps to production and one of them is:

https://naccakwaibomstate.com.ng/
A website for NACC Akwa Ibom State chapter, it took me roughly 5 days to do, but final touches took like 1 week due to laziness on my part and also lack of contents and media for the website.

Another website I vibe coded for client from scratch in about 5 days was:
https://geomajinigeria.com/

For this, it was based on referral by a friend. I was quite broke so it came at the right time.
Even though I desperately charged far too low for a website project.

But nevertheless, we move.
How will ibe getting my app ideas??

Simple, I will be going on Upwork getting clients projects spec and vibe coding them.

I believe that if it was pressing enough for clients to need and look for a dev in Upwork then there is potential in that web app.

I might even hit a gold mine of an idea.

I am focusing entirely on the web as that's what Google AI studio is quite good at.

For the backend, I will be using Firebase or supabase. Both are literally free 😅

I don't have strength to spin up Adonis backend or an express server.

Need me some soft life.

I will be starting off this week.

Let me go on Upwork first and see the type of webapps that clients are needing.

By the way my portfolio is here:
https://naccakwaibomstate.com.ng/developer

Reach out, if you need me.
I need gigs badly. Good paying ones o.

BusinessAccess 98 Couriers With Up To 80% Discount For Your Business Shipping by SparkleSix(op): 10:56pm On Feb 15
Sell Beyond Your Location without Hassle
Whether you run a fashion store in Michigan, a gadget shop in London, a beauty brand in Lagos, or a gift business in Toronto, you can now
• Gain access to 98 global and local courier companies
• Schedule pickups from your store, home, or warehouse
• Generate labels instantly
• Ship domestically and internationally at highly discounted rates
• Track all shipments from a single dashboard
You no longer need to negotiate individual courier contracts and run multiple accounts since everything runs through one unified system.

Enjoy Seamless Pickup from Anywhere

Research shows that logistics coordination represents one of the biggest pain points for small businesses. Fortunately, this solution gets rid of that friction as merchants can now
• Schedule courier pickup directly from their store
• Request home pickups for home-based businesses
• Dispatch bulk shipments from warehouses
• Automate recurring pickups
The process isn’t only seamless but also fast and reliable. This capability allows business owners to focus on sales, while eliminating logistics headaches or bottlenecks.

Here’s a Real Example: Autogele, Michigan

Consider Autogele USA, which is a Michigan-based fashion store founded by Grace.
Before leveraging discounted multi-courier access, international shipping costs limited their customer reach. Today, they
• ship across the United States at highly competitive domestic rates
• send orders to the United Kingdom, Canada, and Nigeria at amazingly low international prices.
Also, customers receive deliveries quickly via trusted, reliable global carriers, and shipping costs don’t discourage international buyers any longer.
This translates to more orders, higher margins and happier customers.

Get Paid in Any Currency with No Onboarding Hidden Charges

Beyond shipping, businesses can also send professional invoices to customers all around the world.
Customers can
• Pay in any currency they prefer
• Complete payments online securely
• Pay without additional invoicing fees
These capabilities eliminate another barrier to global expansion, which is currency limitations.

Industry-Low Rates with Zero Setup Cost

Unlike traditional courier contracts requiring volume commitments, this system provides the following:
• Heavily discounted rates
• No negotiation needed
• No hidden onboarding charges
• No monthly subscription
It’s 100% free to sign up.
To help businesses get started, every new account receives $10 credited instantly, once they credit their shipping wallet enabling you to test your first shipment immediately.

In a Nutshell

Small businesses in the US, UK, Nigeria, Canada, and several other countries don’t need to stay local any longer.
With the following features and perks:
• 98 courier accounts in one profile
• Dirt-cheap domestic and international rates
• Seamless store, home, and warehouse pickups
• Free invoicing in multiple currencies
• $10 signup credit
Global selling has now become simple, affordable, and scalable; your location no longer poses as a limitation.

Day 1: 20/12/2024

So I asked chatgpt to give me a list of app ideas and i got this:

Mobile Apps:

Personalized Workout Coach

A fitness app where users input their fitness goals, and the GPT-powered coach generates customized workout and meal plans, including real-time advice during workouts.

Dream Interpreter

Users describe their dreams, and the app provides insights and interpretations based on common dream theories, with GPT analyzing the narrative.

Recipe Generator

Users list ingredients they have at home, and the app suggests creative recipes powered by GPT.

Language Tutor

A GPT-powered language learning app that allows users to practice conversations, correct grammar, and learn cultural nuances interactively.

AI Roleplay Companion

A fun app where users can chat with characters (e.g., historical figures, fictional personas) powered by GPT for entertainment or learning.

React Web Apps:
AI-Powered Resume Builder

Users input their career details, and GPT generates professional resumes with tailored sections and bullet points for specific job roles.

Instant Copywriter

A marketing tool where users describe their product, and GPT creates engaging ad copy, taglines, and promotional content.

I will be taking them one a time.
ProgrammingJourney: Building Random React And React Native Apps Daily With Chatgpt AI by SparkleSix(op): 7:58am On Dec 20, 2024
I plan to build small, random apps daily, each achieving a specific functionality. To fast-track the process, I’ll rely heavily on AI to handle the heavy lifting while I review and add functionalities where necessary.

Honestly, I’m bored and don’t have much to do for the rest of the year, so this is just something to keep me busy until the new year.

I’ll record all these sessions with OBS Studio, including light audio commentary on the recordings. ChatGPT will provide me with daily project ideas—because who else would?

All React apps will be deployed as soon as they’re completed, and the React Native APKs will be made available for anyone to download and test. Additionally, the code will be open-sourced on my GitHub repo—after all, it’s AI-generated! 😄

The stack I will primarily use includes: React Native (Expo), ReactJS with TypeScript, Firebase for authentication and backend, and TailwindCSS for styling.

AI tools: ChatGPT and Google Gemini.

The goal is to build a functional app in the shortest possible time.

With all business costs; licenses, staff salaries, operational costs and running costs, to keep a shipping business going, there is need for more customers either new or repeat booking shipment with you! How we will increase your booking by 200% from your current weekly bookings

1. A Dedicated Link: With our solution we provide you with a dedicated Admin portal and a shareable link as in yourcompany.com/shipping OR just provide us with your domain, which allows customers to book with you all over the country! Let’s say you operate your cargo company from London and a customer in Newcastle wants to ship a 20kg box to Nigeria, the first hassle is getting the package to your shipping office without the customer breaking the bank! We have partnered with all local couriers in USA, UK, Canada, France, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, Nigeria, Australia etc to have your customers send you items at 80% off the regular carrier rate! Yes… so instead of the regular $100 when your customer booking with the courier directly, with Respectmart they pay far less! Whether you are in New York, Toronto, Berlin, Paris, Lagos… customers can book shipping with you without leaving their homes!

2. Home Pickup: In all the 12 countries we support, your customers can use your link to book shipments cheaply at a discounted courier rate without leaving their homes! This means even customers in the remotest part of your operating country and book with you and our partner carriers will be available to get the items to you:

List of our partners in some of the countries we currently support:

USA: UPS, FEDEX, USPS, DHL, Asendia, APG, Sendle, Global Post
UK: DPD, ParcelForce, Evri, Asendia, UPS, FEDEX
Canada: CANPOST, CANPAR, DHL, UPS, FEDEX, Purolator, Sendle

3. Save Time: So, with a dedicated logistics setup, all you need to do is to share your shipping link and watch shipments roll in! No need to take orders manually through the phone or create shipping labels to you or your customers at a very expensive rates using these local couriers.

4. Seamless Shipping Workflow saving you time:
With Respectmart software solution, you have a single workflow for Customer ID/KYC verification, Payment, Customizable Tracking System, On-site Booking, Local Label creation!

5. Local Label Creation:
Case Study for Mr. Joe

For your customers items that arrive in your operating country: UK, USA, Canada etc, you can do doorstep delivery for their import from Nigeria at a heavily discounted rate! Let’s give another example: Mr. Joe shipped a 20kg box containing a variety of items and you processed this shipment from Nigeria and now it has arrived your USA Chicago office. Now let’s say you charge 9000/kg and this is N180,000, item is going to Columbus Ohio where Mr. Joe lives. Before Respectmart Shipping solution, you will give a quote from local carriers (UPS, Fedex, USPS etc) Here is the average quote from your Chicago office to Columbus Ohio: UPS USPS Fedex but when you use Respectmart, then the above 3 carriers will take the 20kg Box to Mr. Joe at just $27 with UPS, USPS or Fedex this makes you competitive and attract more customers.

Other reasons why Freighters choose Respectmart

A. ID Verification: KYC is very important in shipping industry due to compliance and regulatory demands. With Respectmart solution, your customers are verified under 30sec! And if need be, with just a click you can export their real time verification data.

B. Payments: For every shipment booked using your dedicated link, you can get instant settlement. Your payment hits your bank in minutes.

D. On-site Booking: Gone are the days of manual workflow, paper bookings, even walk-in customers can have their shipment booked and they get an email to pay, in addition to this they get tracking number in seconds.

ProgrammingBecoming An Employable Full Stack Flutter Developer (ios And Android) by SparkleSix(op): 7:18pm On May 10, 2024
The Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0.) is characterized by rapid digital transformation, with mobile application development emerging as a lucrative field in this era offering massive opportunities for aspiring developers. Flutter, an open-source framework created by Google in 2015, helps you build native-looking Android and iOS apps.

Among the myriad frameworks available for mobile app development in modern times, Flutter has gained significant traction as a result of its cross-platform capabilities, allowing developers to build mobile app for both iOS and Android platforms with the use of a single codebase.

This is one of the key reasons for its huge popularity in the app development arena having been used to build over 100,000 apps since its launch by Google about eight years ago.

Some of the famous apps leveraging Flutter include Flutterwave, Google Pay, Alibaba Group’s Xianyu (a second-hand marketplace app), Cryptograph (a cryptocurrency tracking app), Lifely, and many others.

Becoming an employable full stack Flutter developer entails mastering various aspects of Flutter development, such as state management, backend integration, deployment strategies, and other areas.

More importantly, you need grit, hard work, and determination to succeed as a full stack Flutter developer.

This blog post looks at the essential skills and strategies you need to embark on a successful journey as a full stack Flutter developer.

Complexity of Learning the Language

The programming language used to develop Flutter is Dart, a modern and object-oriented language. While some people may regard Dart as a complex language, it’s fairly easy to learn and understand if you’re motivated enough.

Dart programming language was created by Lars Bak and Kasper Lund and also developed by Google. The language can be used for developing web and mobile apps, in addition to server and desktop applications.

Flutter’s key features include hot reload, which facilitates rapid development and experimentation, a rich set of customizable widgets, and a reactive framework for building dynamic user interfaces.

Before going deep into the intricacies of becoming a full stack Flutter developer, it's crucial to have a solid understanding of Flutter's architecture, widgets, and ecosystem.

Hence, it is crucial take your time to learn its basics, including widgets, state management as well as navigation.

Consider familiarizing yourself with Flutter-specific libraries, such as provider and MVVM architecture. Also, you need to understand SQL Lite, which is a popular database system for mobile apps.

You should learn ways to interact with SQL Lite database and also ways to efficiently manage data.

Average Salary of Flutter Dev

The average salary of a Flutter developer is $135,000 per year or $64.90 per hour. It can be as low as $119,380 per year in the US, and entry level positions of a Flutter dev start at $110,000 per year.

However, most experienced devs earn as much as $160,000 per year. As you can see, Flutter development is quite a lucrative profession.

Trends with the Language

Flutter’s distinctive capability for facilitating hassle-free cross-platform app development has strengthened its status as an indispensable tool in the software development kit (SDK) of forward-thinking developers.

Here are some major Flutter trends in 2024: increased adoption of Flutter 3.0, rise of Fuchsia OS apps, integration with AI and machine learning, expansion into desktop applications, and others. Google’s Fuchsia OS is an emerging operating system.

Self-Study vs. Expert Training

When it comes to acquiring skills required to become an employable full stack Flutter developer, you can engage in self-study. The primary advantage of this option is that it helps you save cost.

However, it is often better to enroll in a course as that gives you an opportunity to learn from professional Flutter devs and also interact with like minds.

The Expert-Led Training on Full Stack Flutter
Development provides you with a great opportunity to acquire the key skills required to become a dev. With this program, you can learn from the best in the industry without sinking a hole in your pocket when paying the training fee.

So there isn't at least one advantage of flask over Django?
Also, does learning Django become easier after learning Flask?
Django is quite opinionated, so it excepts you to do things certain ways. Flask on the hand gives you free reign to use whatever you want.

Flask is quite easy to set up but Django needs extra steps to set things up. That is, there are lots of boilerplate code.

Django is battle tested, production tested and scalable. Also, the battery's included nature of Django makes it easy to prototype SAAS apps faster.

I was able to work on 2 big projects simultaneously and deliver an MVP in 2 weeks!!
ChatGPT helped me out though. grin

Lots of features are provided out of the box for you.

Django's ORM is one of the most powerful out there, you don't need to write one single line of SQL ever again.

My answer maybe bias because I am a core Django developer.

But you can try both and see what works for you.
ProgrammingRe: In Dire Need of Advice by SparkleSix: 11:50pm On Nov 06, 2023
Django is your best bet. Leave that flask and focus on Django, flask is too minimalistic for any serious company to go with.

Django on the hand has lots of built-in features, a vibrant large community, regular updates and PR merges, lots of already answered questions and a lot more.
