pls for those of u thinking troy university is an easy ride in all ramification,I advise u do ve a rethink,I transferred to the school and I have seen what other students that refused to write standardised tests are going through,some are meant to spend 2years doing ESL program befr crossing to degree proper..I advise every potential US student to take standardised tests..I took both GRE and toefl and u know my stance in the school atm..to be forewarned is to be.....
U will jst waste time and money here as the $3,500 every semester for ESL woulda done a whole better if u had written the standardised test..shalom

Good day to all folks and GURUS in the house .I bring you greetings from Ghana

I had an admission at Troy University to study MS in Sport Management this fall but i deferred it to Spring cuz the time given to resume school was at a short notice.I want to find out specifically what time will it be appropriate to request for a new 1-20 and then again when do you guys think appropriate i can go for my VISA interview.I want to take care of it in an appropriate manner and not in a rush.

I doubt if you can still make it for interview but give it a try.Try apply for emergency interview since dats the only way out now..hence defer your admission bro and rewrite your TOEFL..As for GRE you can go with your print out..

My name is Rashid from Ghana! I have something that i greatly need the advice and opinions of the big folks here

I applied to do a graduate programme this fall at Troy University in Alabama somewhere in February this year and just got my 1-20 today.

But then, i am supposed to be in School by August 16th. i am in a fix right now due to some few issues here and will greatly appreciate members advice.

1. My TOEFL scores expired in May,2015 but as the time of application in February it wasnt and im wondering if i can go ahead and apply and explain to the VO's there or i take a new test

2.Wrote GRE too this year and yet to receive the scores

I am applying to study at Bemidji State University and basically want to find out,how many years does it take to do an undergraduate degree in the US and also my fees for 2 semester is $19,775.i want to know do i need to show a statement that covers all the years i will be studying at the university or a statement that can cover me for the first 2 semester or my first year??

annoymous: U really don't av to show any legal documentation that he is your uncle. Fall semester usu start mid - late August. Classes might not start till early September though.

Justwise, i am having a hard time convincing my uncle to transfer the living costs into my account.i am toally confused and was told if that is the case,it better i ask him to swear an affidavit and provide other documents to show he is my legal guardian.i am confused and don't know what to do.Pls justwise,can you pls advise me whether to use the option being proposed by colleagues and how do i go about it ??
