Instead of these people to rally people around Peter Obi and build great structures, they are busy abusing everyone that's not in line with their beliefs. Tinubu is an enigma that cannot be pulled down, the earlier the better for these people to know that. Peter Obi himself knows he stand no chance against Tinubu even if Tinubu don't campaign till election day. Anything I see them abusing Tinubu I always laugh cos they don't know what politics is all about. It will shock them by the time people begin to come out to vote. There is no way u can use the yardstick of Buhari to weigh Tinubu, they are different in so many ways. Well, let's wait and see. The journey is not too far.
grin grin grin grin people with their senses intact in their head is few in this country. On a normal nobody should ever think of voting APC as a party after wasting our 8years without any reasonable result. Everything nose dived during their regime but you will still see people supporting them. How. Nobody is abusing Tinubu he has worked in his time he should allow younger people to work both with atiku. It's not only them that is in this country. no old man should be allow to retire in aso rock let them retire in their homes

It says for help! Mary and Joseph did not go to Egypt for help. Since you want to contend for God, why don't you go to your Bible and see whether I misquoted the verse or not? Meanwhile, Obi has fled to Egypt, forgetting that as presidential candidates of Labour Party he ought to go to Ado Ekiti to raise up the hands of their gubernatorial candidate. A man who was governor for 8 years and vice presidential candidate 3 years ago now suddenly remembers that he must undergo a 3-day workshop in Egypt, seven months to a major election. Its like he isn't prepared for the coming election if you ask me!

See I hate APC more than you. But I also deal with facts and not my emotions. This thing is between Tinubu and Atiku. Do I like any of them know in a sane world will I vote a Peter Obi over any APC candidate yes expect Osinbajo. But I have experience social media soliders and hype from 2015 to date. I do not want a Tinubu presidency. The Igbos know this but are after the wild goose chase called Obident. They should be preparing to give Atiku votes not shooting themselves in the foot politically. That's what they are good at. Have they thought after all this of APC or PDP wins where it leaves them. They should start acting responsibly politically for once. Not act and beg later. I hope they know what will happen if any of these 2 ppl win without their help another isolation for 8 yrs. And Tinubu go use tax kill una purse una comot Lagos.
grin grin grin grin grin I use to laugh well when I see write ups like this. Let me tell you.you think you know Igbos more than they know themselves. The Igbos are the only genuine tribe that loves Nigeria as a country thats why they want out because things is not working properly. You will see an Igbo man in all the state in Nigeria. So the choice is before una to make is either una choose the old currupt money bags or choose a younger better candidate like Peter Obi to turn things around. As dollar is sold at 600 now tell me the tribe that is exchanging it for 200. The choice we make affects all. So the Igbos careless but want the best for this country. You are talking of tax. I Inherited N127bn Debt From Obi
- Governor Obiano

18th October 2017

By Obiora Aghadinuno

The governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano has revealed that contrary to the sanctimonious posturing of his predecessor, former Governor Peter Obi, the state was saddled with a huge domestic debt of N127 billion when heleft office in March 2014.
Speaking in the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia, Governor Obiano explained that his silence over the debt his predecessor sought to tie his hands with had been mainly because he did not want to allow his regime to be distracted at inception. He explained that he wanted to concentrate on the delivering his promise of good governance to Ndi Anambra.
According to him, the N127 billion debt came mostly from the 101 road contracts that the former governor hurriedly awarded at the dying minutes of his regime without making any provision whatsoever for them in order to create probles for his administration from the very first day.
Obiano listed other disingenuous designs by his predecessor to make sure that his regime never really took off. He mentioned the last minute employment of 6000 workers without provision for their welfare as well as the various hotels and independent power projects which he had no plans to complete.
He however revealed that he has quietly completed 51 out of the 101 roads and assured Ndi Anambra that the remaining 50 would soon be completed.
Obiano’s revelation came on the heels of the growing inconsistencies in the figures being thrown up by Obi which have left many discerning observers wondering just how much the former governor actually left behind.
They point at Obi’s sudden volte-face from his earlier declaration that he handed N75 billion cash to his successor and his declaration at the flag off of the PDP campaign in Onitsha yesterday that the actual amount he handed over was N48,626 billion.
While delivering an address that has been mostly cdismissed by political analysts as suicidal, Obi was caught on camera saying “when I was leaving this place, we left in savings N26bn. We set aside for important projects, N23,629 billion. If you put the two together, it will come to N48, 626 billion.”
The former governor’s contradictory accounts of the exact amount he bequeathed his successor leaves huge gaps in the emerging narrative of dubious accountability and an even more doubtful integrity.
This becomes more so in the light of the revelation that in Obi’s so called N75 billion handover are embedded all manner of moribund and toxic assets which he cleverly reported as profitable investments in the handover note.
For instance, Obi’s reportage of the 16.5% equity stake in emenite, a fibre cement roof and ceiling manufacturing company set up by the premier of the old Eastern Region, Dr M.I. Okpara, which was shared between the five states that made up the as part of the trumpeted investments he had handed over to Obiano is nothing but pure fraud.
Observers also complained that it speaks volumes about Obi’s vaunted integrity to realize that he also reported that he had invested the sum of N3.5 billion in Interfact Beverages Limited, when in reality what he invested was N1.4 billion only. This followed Obiano’s announcement that his administration would soon revise the discrepancy to reflect the actual equity stake of the state in the company.
Other dead bodies buried in Obi’s handover note include the N9 billion involuntary investment in the Nigerian Independent Power Project, conceived in 2004 by the Obasanjo regime which the Federation Account was charged to fund on behalf of the 36 states. One wonders how this investment could have found its way into Obi’s phantom savings that he handed over to Obiano in cash.
Other components of Obi’s “famous” N75 billion cash handover include the N4 billion estimated value of the land resources of Anambra State on which the oil installations of Orient Petroleum Resources stands which he “cleverly” converted into the state’s shareholding in Orient Petroleum Plc and quickly reported as his own wise investment while in actuality, the only investment in the company when Obi handed over was the N100 million invested by former governor Chris Ngige who also issued the C of O for the land.
Another embarrassing falsehood reported as part of the N75 billion cash handover is the Federal Government refund to Anambra State on the repair of federal roads in the state which stood at N10 billion during Obi’s regime.
It smacks of utter mischief to report this debt owed the state by the Federal Government as a part of the cash handover as the Federal Government has yet to clear the debt while the Obiano regime has responded to more distress calls on federal roads in the state, pushing the debt overhang now to N43.8 billion to date.
Indeed, Obi’s ill-advised decision to speak up on the actual amount he left his successor has blown up on the faces of his admirers who cringe at the embarrassing inconsistencies in his accounts which  now dangles between N75 billion and N48,626 billion.
At this rate, many political observers bet that Obi may not have any reputational capital left by the end of the current electoral campaign in Anambra State.
grin grin grin grin grin and you think any reasonable youth will read this. Hope the old generational money bags are not using your youthful energy to run their old age

Dear Young People, Whatever happens in this election, APC must not win at the centre.

Remember that,
On the 20th of October 2020, APC Government sent a Battalion of Soldiers with assorted weapons to kill and maim us for gathering at Lekki Toll gate. Scores of youngsters fell that night to the bullets of the APC Government.

What was our offence?
- Asking the Government to tell the Police to stop killing us.

Remember;
- Buhari said if we try it again we will face grave consequences.

- Tinubu asked what we were doing there.

- Lai mohammed said the soldiers were never there, even with video evidence.

- Sanwo-Olu denied it. Said he never knew soldiers were there.

- Tinubu's company removed the lightning from the Toll gate to allow for outer darkness to cover the perpetrators of the Massacre.

For the ones we lost.
For the wickedness and lack of value for human lives.
For the youngsters wasted for frivolities.

We must hold that grudge forever against APC and everything associated with it forever.

Never let APC stand a chance of winning any election in your corner, unit, ward, LGA, State.

Unfortunately, we told them the below 8 years ago,
2014, but our people never listened to us.
2023 would have been the best and perfect time for us Igbos to Rule, but for where, they pitched their tent with politics of hatred and bitterness.
It's a shame.
The below is the HARD TRUTH, for your reading pleasure.

NOW; Seriously, let's be sincere. As things stand today politically, why would the APC even hand power to us Igbos in 2023?
On what grounds?
On what records?
On what politics?
Is power given to anyone?
Is it an appeasement or a gift?

The APC is a political party. The main focus of a political Party is to hold power and keep it to enable it deliver on its agenda. So if the APC reads that the SE does not want the Presidency or does not have the capacity to help them win and keep power, they will stick with the regions that can and work with individuals who are interested.

SOUTH EAST: IS IT NOT TOO LATE?

I have read the recent transmissions by Senator Bukola Saraki directed at my Igbo tribe. I have deliberately kept mum on this as I had earlier resolved to speak less on Igbos as regards the 2019 Elections and 2023 Presidency having said quite a bit.

However seeing as some of my brethren have swallowed the cheap bait, I will chip this in just to keep the reality before us, at least for posterity sake. Truth is bitter but it's still the best medicine.

My people say; 'He who does not remember where the rain started beating him, will not remember where it stopped'.

REWIND TO 2014.
A new National Party was being conceived. Political Parties, political players and Regions were being wooed to the new alliance.

'We' Igbos (read South East) vehemently refused to touch it even with a long pole. We packaged, sold to ourselves and bought the baseless propaganda that it was an Islamic alliance that would birth an "Islamic" and "Hausa" Party. Simply because those our brethren heavily invested in the PDP at the time were afraid of losing their vested selfish interests.
Till today I'm still trying to fathom the basis for that wicked and twisted deceit especially as many of those Igbo elites who sold that dummy have since ported to the same APC.

We failed to even identify with that new Alliance. Hence the Party, APC was birthed without any remarkable input from us or presence. The few amongst us who aligned were called all kinds of names and abused to high heavens by us even when they were proven right afterall.

Thus the few Igbos who were part of it were at best fringe players as they didn't have the required clout to make serious demands and do the necessary political wheeling and dealing required in Politics to strike the hard bargains since politics is all about interests and numbers. They were even suspect, so much so that it was only their personal political sagacity that gave them whatever they got.

That Party went on to win the Presidential Election which in truth, most of us never believed it could or would, because of our half baked permutations and poor understanding of Nigerian politics. But it did.

Curiously we turned up at the fore front of telling this same Party how it should share it's 'spoils of war'. We became hypocritical moral champions with an over bloated sense of entitlement. Who

Who does that, in all political reality and practicality? But we did, even while vehemently and vociferously still refusing to shift our position, style and rhethoric.

We dug in. Supported every bad thing and person against the Party, the elected President and the Administration while denying any and every good done to and for our Region.

Fast forward to where we are today. Almost four years after the 2015 misadventure, we have stayed put at 2015, refusing to move forward, refusing to shift grounds, refusing to play pragmatic politics, telling ourselves the same lies we cooked and bought in 2015 and some more.

Now barely 5 months to another election, we have started again saying "APC cannot give Presidency to Igbos in 2023". "Buhari cannot hand over to an Igbo man because Buhari hates Igbos". "APC is deceiving you", bla bla bla.

Of course. We will believe Saraki, who has only but a fanthom dream of becoming President and whose only known record is selfishness but we can't believe Buhari who's already President and who has a record of voluntarily picking two great Igbo sons as running mates in the past? Chukwu aju.

It is interesting and vital to note here that the PDP which many of us still proudly support and adore was in power for 16 solid years and in those years there were 4 Presidential Inaugurations and on none of those was an Igbo man found worthy by the PDP of even Vice Presidency and we are still bold to say it is the APC that has not even finished one and a half tenure that doesn't want to give power to Igbos. Odi nma.

Make no mistake, I have always said, I do not blame us Igbos for the decision majority of us took in 2015. It's our right. But continuing to pretend that it was other regions, Buhari or the APC that made us do what we did then or remain where we are today is purely self deceit and I refuse to play that ostrich game.

As far back as 2014, I and many others made that argument that Igbo Presidency was very feasible in 2023, ONLY under under the APC, ONLY IF we did a couple of things right politically. I personally continued to speak loudly on that even after the 2015 elections until when I realized that we were not ready to play the politics that was required and now I dare say it may be too late. Or is it not? Time will tell.

For now, we can continue to tell ourselves that we cannot hold the Presidency of Nigeria. I heard and read many of our brethren go from PDP to Biafra/seccesion (read IPOB) to Referendum to "Igbos do not need Presidency but Restructuring" etc forgetting that all that didn't lie squarely with us alone. We think other regions are not reading our body language?
really don't care what Saraki writes or says because they've all come to realize that it's very easy to play us like a flute. So like Saraki, like Fani Kayode, like Fayose, like Atiku, even Jonah Jang of all people, they keep playing us.

I've learnt not to bother myself anymore to avoid unnecessary responses from nonentities .
As some of us have said, it's good governance we want, even if only one village will be producing the Presidents. So be it.

Ka Chineke mezie okwu.
grin angry grin grin chai not again. Since your star boy couldn't bribe his way more than that old currupt money bag. You have not been yourself. You see what we have been saying Peter Obi left pdp because he couldn't bribe his way too. So all these write up is just plain rubbish.we shouldn't always have to choose thieves to lead us.
