socialist programs that doesn't tackle providing long term employment for people is a black-hole and waste of resources in my opinion. Also, very easy to steal such money in Nigeria. In my view, government should tackle problems, like electricity and insecurity which will provide more job opportunities in the long term rather than socialist welfare programs that eat-up money and yield no tangible profits! 15,000 or 30,000 naira does not lift anybody out of poverty they can invest it in any tangible business to save their family from poverty or send the kids to school. It just feeds them for a week and they come back for more. I say teach a man/woman to fish. |
