1) Is there any difference between unity school cut off marks and common entrance?.

2) Your state has education board, they set the scores in conjuction with the school management.

3) The cut off marks in SW are also high, if they like, your state can set their scores to 2, nobody will contest it.

First, Obi became governor in 2006 and was already in his second term in 2011. The return of schools was his first term project 2006 - 2010. It was done in batches depending on when contractors conclude the infrastructural upgrade.

WAEC, NECO, JAMB are examination bodies. We have other bodies/organisations (local, international & independent) that keep and report statistics of academic performances by sex, state, age, zone, LGA, Out of Schools etc. Examples NBS, Ministry of Education, UNDP, MDG, USAID, UKAID, Statisense etc

Various establishment rely on such data for their planning. For instance, JAMB uses such reports to classify states between 'educationally developed' vs 'educationally less developed' during admissions.

It is the same data that Ministry of Education uses to determine admission cut-off mark in Unity Schools

Then Importantly, Obi was not the first governor to return mission schools neither will he be the last, Tinubu, Fashola, Aregbesola, Elrufai did same, why so much hero worshiping over returning the properties of the owners to them.

Again, if other governors did the same thing Obi did, why were they unable to achieve similar results as Anambra? Why did Obi spring surprises by surpassing all of them from number 26 to number 1?

This same Regina Pacis was one of the many schools returned to the Catholic Church alone during Peter Obi's tenure after a massive infrastructural upgrade.
