pocohantas: Congratulations to them.
You don’t have respect for any vows. You guys only stay together while fcking around and claiming polygamous in nature. A lot of you Nigerian men (especially) sleep around with 200L girls. While your virtuous wife is at home in bongo shorts, pursuing your 3yrs old son to drink custard. That is no RESPECT FOR VOWS.
Some of your wives knack outside and bring home foreign bodies.
Remove stigmatisation and lack of funds, Nigerian women would be dumping you guys at the drop of a hat.
Respect indeed! Nothing but the truth!!! |

cococandy: I agree. But being on this forum has shown me that people actually do take their kitchens very very seriously so I’ve learned to try and not be biased about it. I guess?
I personally would want anyone staying with me to feel very free to cook and eat as they please. If they are messy, then it’s a different issue. I wish I could like your comment a thousand times. Some people take some little things so seriously, life is not that hard. |

fashionale: I shed tears reading this now. It reminds of my own last year when I lost my newly married good wife and my child in a week. Please Op, your people need to always stay with him because he's going through enough upon enough. Your brother is not himself physically, mentally, psychologically and spiritually. I Pray may Almighty God give him the strength and courage to live on. It's God that can do it I don't know how but I know He will do it. Some people have mental illness because of this and will not come out of it. No words of man can amend his shattered heart except the ones he tells himself. Advice him to always give himself HOPE. I'm still recovering from my own and I still need to go for therapy because I'm still hurt very much... Sorry for your loss sir May God continue to comfort you This is so heartbreaking |

Soknown: It all started from her. I wonder why there is not much written about her.
Chief K A Pratt. First black Nurse in to work in the NHS.
Chief Kofoworola Abeni Pratt Hon. FRCN (1915 – 18 June 1992), a Nigerian-born nurse, was the first black nurse to work in Britain's National Health Service. She subsequently became vice-president of the International Council of Nurses and the first black Chief Nursing Officer of Nigeria, working in the Federal Ministry of Health.

Pratt, daughter of Augustus Alfred Scott and Elizabeth Omowumi (née Johnson), was educated at St John's Secondary School and Lagos CMS Girls' Grammar School, then studied to be a teacher at the United Missionary College in Ibadan, after her father discouraged her from her wish to be a nurse. From 1936 to 1940 she taught at a Church Missionary Society girls' school in Nigeria. She married a Nigerian pharmacist, Dr. Olu Pratt, who subsequently obtained British medical qualifications at St Bartholomew's Hospital, London. She had the passion, she was indeed a great nurse. You are doing good sharing your experiences with us, thank you! Two of my siblings are nurses will really love them to read your story. |
