There is a mountain in ondo state located at Ikare Akoko, opposite NySC orientation camp; The mountain is called "olókè méjì tako tabo."which means Man and Woman. The people of ikare believe that the mountain is a husband and a wife. When you get there, there is a male side of the mountain and the female side of it. The mountain is also known as "Moses Orimolade mountain". Moses Orimolade according to research is the head of Cherubim and Seraphim, When he was alive he always go there to pray and I was told that he performed a lot of healing miracles before he died. During the civil war, it was said that the people of Ikare-Akoko always go there to hide;while the snow of the mountain covers them from their enemies. When you get to the mountain, you will see a stair that will enable you climb, if you are a woman in your menstrual cycle, you are not allowed to climb, A person putting on red dress or anything red is also not allowed to climb to avoid getting into danger. When you get to the mountain top, it looks like a plain land where people do their normal daily activities such as farming, praying and other things. . Cherubim and seraphim also built a big church there; where they attend every Saturday's and other day's they have programs. on the mountain, there is a large Well that never runs dry, year to year the well is filled with water, be it dry or raining season. the name of the water is called "Imiato" The female parts of the mountain has its own water "Isungiga" while the male has its own which is known as the "Olimake Water". Most of our reputable men and women of God goes there to pray because it was said to be a place where all prayers are answered.. one of the men that told me about the mountain said that anytime he wants God to do something for him ,he goes there to pray. He said that people like pastor TB.Jousha, Mrs Esther Ajayi, Mama soloke from London comes there to pray . He also pointed that the tree TB Joshua normally sit to pray before he died has dried but has not fallen. Minister Esther Ajayi conduct crusades and revival at the mountain, people from far and near ,London and all part of the world comes there to pray.. Every October 9th - 18th of every year people come to the mountain, with cars helicopters to jointly pray. During the prayers, the male goes to the male side or face the male side of the mountain to pray while the female do the same. It was also said that any man or woman who is barren, looking for job, husband or any problem that gives them sleepless nights; get all the answers and solution they want when they pray at the mountain. This is the little information I could get about the mountain. I hope you enjoyed it ? 1) Skipping a property Inspection: Before making a purchase it is very important to inspect the property you want to to buy.. 2)Allowing desperation to interfer with sound Judgement: Never be desperate to buy any property , do not allow any realtor or anyone at all to rush you, make that decision yourself. 3) Failing to Establish a solid budget: Do not be swayed around, know what you want to buy, establish a budget and go for it.. 4)Neglecting to seek advice from certified experts: There is always room to seek advice from experts before getting a property, take your time and get all the information you need.. 5)Making hasty purchases without conducting thorough research: Due diligence is very necessary, don't make purchases without proper research. #Glendyproperties 08160423539

Do you know that customers can bring money higher than their initial budget when they see the value of what you sell? it is not a rocket science, people change their mind when you offer value. Let me tell you a story. in April 2024, someone called my phone and it was a lady, let's call her Bisi. Bisi told me that someone referred her to me, she called the persons name and went ahead to complain that she doesn't have money, that what she wanted is a 500k worth of land and it must face the road, She said a lot and I was calm listening to her, when she was done; I told her that I have 550k land not 500 but the features she wanted for that particular amount is not possible.. I went ahead to tell her that 550k landed property is a buy and keep not a buy and build and it can never face the road. I told her the truth about everything she needed to know and also peached another property worth 1 million and another worth 1.5 million naira, I explained why they are better than the first one but if she had budgeted for the 550k she should stick to her plan. As she was still contemplating, i opted for a site inspection. She agreed; and we went to the three estate, after seeing it, She chose the 1.5 million naira land against the 500k she budgeted.. She never made that decision on her own, she saw the value and it prompted her to change her mind immediately. Yesterday, that same lady, now my client🥰 viewed my WhatsApp status and noticed that I posted a 2,050,000 worth of property(Two million, fifty thousand naira ) She asked if the property was available when she bought the other one, I told her yes and she was annoyed that I never told her about it.. She went ahead to tell me that someone that paid 1.5 million can equally pay extra 550 k without feeling it.., she was mad at me but I kept apologizing until she cut the call. Her initial budget was 500k, but due to the sound conversation we had and what I showed her, she spent extra 1 million she never planned and was also mad at me for not showing her the 2 million naira property.... The 550k property is a nice property and I sell it to other clients because that is what they want, I peached a higher property to her because the explanation she gave me on what she wanted does not look like the 550k property so that was what prompted the explanations. Even though the one I told her about was not really facing the road as she wanted but it was better than her initial plan. Everybody on earth love to embrace value, they know it when they see it but you as a seller have a part to play to make them realize the value of what you offer. I hope this helps #Glendyproperties 08160423539

What do you do when a customer negotiate down the price of your Product? It is very common in real estate business, thrift business and so many others. Some customers negotiate down a product price to align with their budget; but it is your role as the seller to help them see beyond the price tag and that is where value comes in. One of my client in UK ,told his younger brother to follow me for inspection, he wanted a property so he called the brother to help him check out the property. On getting there, he saw it and we told him the prelaunch price of 1 .8 million, the brother refused and was pricing down a property located in Ibusa for 750k, He called the brother and tried to discouraged him about it, he told him not to purchase it for that amount and he was serious about it.. When I got home , I sent videos of the fenced property , I told him things to note and I took my time to make sure he sees the value of the property. He thought about it for some days and later on paid for 1 plot as against the 4 plots he wanted to buy before.. He returned in March and I took him to his land, he was so happy cause the estate has been gated and the price has appreciated to 3.5 million naira.. Though he regretted not buying the extra 3 plots but he was still happy that he bought one. As a business owner, it is your role to educate and help your client see the value of your product, and with this, the customer will be convinced to buy the product. I hope this helps.. 08160423539

SEGLIZ:Why do you say taboos? That's their belief it's not a taboo.. though I posted a new writeup where i explained the reasons behind it. |
Before now I wrote something about Asaba people not eating Ogbono and it can't be sold openly in their market more especially at Ogbo- ogonogo market ... Ever since I made that post I have asked a lot of questions in other to know the mystery behind the belief ..... Below is my little findings️👇 There is a goddess called " ONISHE AHABA" that is believed to be the goddess of Asaba people. The shrine is along River Naija. Part of the shrine is inside the river, the other part is on land; she's assume to be the mother of Asaba people and she is also called " The mother of good luck and protection" If you get to the shrine, it is surrounded by Ogbono trees, the mystery behind the Ogbono tree is that, no matter how strong the wind is, the leaves of those ogbono tree can never drop in the shrine. It was also believed that during the war (Nigerian civil war) that the goddess fought for Asaba people using her breast ( Ara nwanyi Asaba) to capsize the boat of the enemy that wanted to attack asaba people. For that reason; Asaba indigenes( the worshippers) do not eat ogbono soup... And ogbono seed cannot be displayed the same way okoro and egusi are displayed in the market; more especially ogbo- ogonogo market. Though some hide to sell it ...... In the goddess shrine, there are native white chalk there; As a believers if you take the native white chalk from her shrine and put it at your door post no harm will come to you. Not all asaba people believe in Onishe, meaning that some eat ogbono helplessly and nothing happens... Whenever anyone who believes and serve Onishe eats ogbono, it peels their lips and it results to a swollen mouth. There is a festival done once in 4 years which is known as " OGBA-KULO, it's a native cleansing for all the asaba indigenes. As early as 4-5am in the morning, every family who believe in Onishe will put firewood on fire, when the wood is lit, they remove it and move to the shrine; while going to shrine they turn it above their heads to avoid the fire from quenching. When they get to the shrine; they drop it and table all their request. After that, they drop the fire wood and rejoice and aswell sing a particular song which is: OLOKOTO IPO IPO-NWA IPO ( for those that want the fruit of the womb) IPO DI IPO ( for the single ladies) IPO EGO IPO 👆 Meaning that, as they are leaving; they have received blessings, fruits of the womb, good husband ,wealth and many good things.. So, if you have seen the movie "ARA NWANYI ASABA" bear it in mind that they have heard of the goddess and the way she helped the Asaba people with her breast during the civil war and they decided to act it using a different story line..... *************†********************** My name is mmadunagu Gloria Chinwendu (Splendidcity), I wrote this story because i love culture as a person who live in Asaba, i try my best to get history and ask questions around and I know you enjoyed it.. I also sell real estate within Asaba. For more info call 08160423539.

Ever since I relocated to Asaba, I have never for once bought ogbono seed in Asaba because I had a lot of it. On Friday I decided to prepare the soup. I went to ogbo ogonogo market and told them to give me ogbono seed (Wild mango) , I noticed that people around were shifting away from me , some were making signs that I don't really understand. I was wondering why people were behaving weired until an old woman called me into her shop and told me that Asaba people don't sell ogbono, in igbo we call it Omenala; its their tradition. She went further to explain that people sell it secretly but it's not allowed. She told me to thank my God that I was not caught because if anyone had caught me I would have paid more than 25k and will also be disgraced. I thanked her a lot and bought something else . The next day when I got to my working place I explained my experience to the security Man who is from Asaba he told me that it's true. I was very curious to know why, he never gave me a tangible reason but warned me not to try it again. He did not stop there ,he also said that in Asaba market you should not be seen carrying yam in both hands, that it's either you put it in a bag ? Or you carry with a single hand . The whole thing was very surprising to me but I have no option but to keep to their rules and belief. If you are planning to go and sell ogbono seed in any Asaba market please you are on your own. Ogono seed is not sold in Asaba, even if you later buy it must be hidden . Know this and know peace. Mmadunagu Gloria Chinwendu( Splendidcity)
