Got a little late to the embassy, got into the queue and I was flustered. Surprised when I still got A054.ok, straight to the interview.

Me: the curriculum is structured in such a way that it fits my academic aspirations, it has a lot of interdisciplinary courses from my computer science neighbors. I also had a lot of correspondence with professor blah blah who was very interested in my area of research interest: non parametric statistics and it's applicafions.

Vo:so what is this course going to do for u?
Me: actually it directly relates to my line of my present work. ..cuts me

Me: I am a statistical data analyst

Me: I construct econometric mathematical models for various companies.

Me: my two elder siblings will foot the bill.

Visa just approved in Lagos consulate. Transcripts coming soon. I thank all the gurus in the house for giving me the confidence.

Juntod, I greet u. Did mathematics and scored 155 and quantitative. Verbal 155. Kinda surprised with the score!!! How can I bend joss (luck) for my next interview?

I am new on this thread but I have been an ardent follower. I have ga post and a tuition waiver but got accepted into only one state university. I have been denied before. What are my chances? Have u gotten your visa?

My gre is poor 310/340.

Me: after my graduation I applied for a tutoring post where I taught math for prospective bsc student and sometime during that period I was called for service. After my service I applied to various positions for employment and was fortunate to be accepted. I currently work as a statistical data analyst for a consulting firm.

Can't recall the rest of the interview because i was so down. Please point out my flaws because I have included my brother who is a manager at first bank as a co sponsor.thanks for any contribution.

calmdown: Praise God. My VISA was approved this morning at the US Consulate in Lagos after a minute interview. I will post my very short transcript later. I also thank everyone who has been contributing to this thread. Once more, I thank God...

I applied to only two schools in Texas and I was denied about a month ago. Just asking if that was the main reason for my denial. Will appreciate any advice .

I am so glad I have finally took the bold step to join this family. One love.
