Politics / CBN Borrowed $13.8 Billion From U.S Banks (JP Morgan & Goldman Sachs). by spy9ja: 12:20pm On Aug 15, 2023
CBN borrowed $13.8 Billion from U.S Banks (JP Morgan & Goldman Sachs).

Buhari and Emefiele “secretly” used Nigeria’s Foreign Reserve as Collateral. They printed N32 trillion in Ways & Means as well.

Both men sabotaged Nigeria’s Sovereignty, they wrecked the Naira and your Economy.

Do you realize the magnitude of this Economic Sabotage?

Your Foreign Reserve was $33 billion in July 2023.
Debit is $13.8 billion from this CBN managed asset.

What do you have left?

If you pay off the debt, Nigeria will be left with less than $20 billion for a 200 million population.

A quick breakdown of the Debt:

$7 billion to JP Morgan Chase, & $500 million to Goldman Sachs under a “Classified Securities Lending.” $6.3 billion exposure to Foreign Currency Forwards.

“Foreign Currency Forwards” are CBN’s obligations to foreign investors.

Obasanjo grew your Foreign Reserve from $5.4 billion in 1999, to $51.3 billion by 2007. He cleared your Foreign debts as well.

Buhari has sank Nigeria back into humongous debt.

May God help President Bola Tinubu to succeed in his quest towards economic recovery.

Politics / Tinubu Prioritizes Inclusive, Swift Economic Recovery - Ajuri Ngelale by spy9ja: 6:59pm On Aug 11, 2023
STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday in Abuja reassured Nigerians that no stone will be left unturned in his administration's multifarious efforts to stimulate the economy and make it work for the greatest good of all Nigerians.

The President stated this in a meeting held at the State House with the Board of Trustees of the All Progressives' Congress (APC) Professionals Forum led by former Bauchi State Governor, Mallam Isa Yuguda.

“This economy must recover for the good and greatest number of Nigerians, and we are seriously committed to seeing through a change for the better," he said.

To steadily ensure measured growth and enhanced public enlightenment on policy outcomes, President Tinubu said every effort across sectors will be documented and periodically reviewed for performance verification and public presentation.

“So far, we have taken some baby steps and pushed some aggressive positions," the President told the APC professionals, who had earlier pledged their support for the reforms.

While thanking President Tinubu for his bold interventions on the economy, the former Bauchi State Governor said more than two million people have been registered as professionals in different fields since 2018 and stood ready to provide structures for mobilisation and sensitization on government policies.

"Foreign capital is a coward that does not move into unsafe areas, so with your successful interventions so far, we look forward to better security that will attract investors," Yuguda added.

Politics / Tinubu Calls For Dialogue To Resolve Niger Republic Impasse. by spy9ja: 4:07pm On Aug 10, 2023
STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE

The Chairman of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, says the regional bloc will continue to champion diplomacy and dialogue, as well as earnest discussions with all parties involved, to restore constitutional governance in the Republic of Niger.

The ECOWAS Authority chairperson spoke on Thursday in Abuja at the opening of the 2nd Extraordinary Summit on the socio-political situation in the Republic of Niger.

"In reaffirming our relentless commitment to democracy, human rights, and the well-being of the people of Niger, it is crucial that we prioritize diplomatic negotiations and dialogue as the bedrock of our approach.

"We must engage all parties involved, including the coup leaders, in earnest discussions to convince them to relinquish power and reinstate President Bazoum.

"It is our duty to exhaust all avenues of engagement to ensure a swift return to constitutional governance in Niger." he said.

Underscoring the significance of the meeting, President Tinubu stressed the importance of a comprehensive evaluation of progress thus far.

''More specifically, as leaders of our respective nations, we must recognize that the political crisis in Niger not only poses a threat to the stability of the nation but also has far-reaching implications for the entire West African region.

''By remaining steadfast in our adherence to the principles of democracy, good governance, and the rule of law, we can restore peace, stability, and prosperity in the Republic of Niger, thereby fostering an environment conducive to growth and development for all," he said.

Building upon commitments from the initial Extraordinary Summit held in Abuja ten days ago, President Tinubu recollected the ECOWAS leaders’ collective condemnation of the military coup that toppled Niger's democratically elected government.

Highlighting the firm and coordinated efforts already undertaken, President Tinubu outlined ECOWAS' deployment of mediation teams and Special Envoys to engage with key stakeholders within and beyond the region.

The Nigerian leader also pointed to the recent meeting of ECOWAS Chiefs of Defense Staff, the meeting of the Chiefs of Staffs Committee and the ECOWAS Commission's memorandum on current developments in Niger as crucial sources of insight to guide the decisions of the Heads of State and Government at the meeting.

"Today's Summit provides a significant opportunity to meticulously review and assess the progress made since our last gathering. It is essential to evaluate the effectiveness of our interventions and identify any gaps or challenges that may have hindered progress.

"It is only through this comprehensive assessment that we can collectively chart a new sustainable path towards lasting peace, stability, and prosperity in Niger," President Tinubu emphasized.

The ECOWAS Chairperson expressed confidence that the 2nd ECOWAS Extraordinary Summit would be a defining moment in the journey towards a stronger, more resilient, and integrated West Africa.

He, therefore, rallied fellow leaders to seize this opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of Africans by fostering a future characterized by peace, progress, and prosperity.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Presidents of Guinea Bissau, Senegal, Cote 'd' Ivoire, Ghana, Benin, Sierra Leone, and Togo, while Liberia and the Gambia were represented by their Foreign Ministers.

Non-ECOWAS leaders, such as the Mauritanian and Burundian presidents, also attended.

Politics / Text Of The National Broadcast By President Bola Tinubu To Nigerians On Current by spy9ja: 9:30pm On Jul 31, 2023
TEXT OF THE NATIONAL BROADCAST BY PRESIDENT BOLA TINUBU TO NIGERIANS ON CURRENT ECONOMIC CHALLENGES

AFTER DARKNESS COMES THE GLORIOUS DAWN

My fellow citizens,
I want to talk to you about our economy. It is important that you understand the reasons for the policy measures I have taken to combat the serious economic challenges this nation has long faced.

2. I am not going to talk in difficult terms by dwelling on economic jargon and concepts. I will speak in plain, clear language so that you know where I stand. More importantly, so that you see and hopefully will share my vision regarding the journey to a better, more productive economy for our beloved country.

3. For several years, I have consistently maintained the position that the fuel subsidy had to go. This once beneficial measure had outlived its usefulness. The subsidy cost us trillions of Naira yearly. Such a vast sum of money would have been better spent on public transportation, healthcare, schools, housing and even national security. Instead, it was being funnelled into the deep pockets and lavish bank accounts of a select group of individuals.

4. This group had amassed so much wealth and power that they became a serious threat to the fairness of our economy and the integrity of our democratic governance. To be blunt, Nigeria could never become the society it was intended to be as long as such small, powerful yet unelected groups hold enormous influence over our political economy and the institutions that govern it.

5. The whims of the few should never hold dominant sway over the hopes and aspirations of the many. If we are to be a democracy, the people and not the power of money must be sovereign.

6. The preceding administration saw this looming danger as well. Indeed, it made no provision in the 2023 Appropriations for subsidy after June this year. Removal of this once helpful device that had transformed into a millstone around the country’s neck had become inevitable.

7. Also, the multiple exchange rate system that had been established became nothing but a highway of currency speculation. It diverted money that should have been used to create jobs, build factories and businesses for millions of people. Our national wealth was doled on favourable terms to a handful of people who have been made filthy rich simply by moving money from one hand to another. This too was extremely unfair.

8. It also compounded the threat that the illicit and mass accumulation of money posed to the future of our democratic system and its economy.

9. I had promised to reform the economy for the long-term good by fighting the major imbalances that had plagued our economy. Ending the subsidy and the preferential exchange rate system were key to this fight. This fight is to define the fate and future of our nation. Much is in the balance.

10. Thus, the defects in our economy immensely profited a tiny elite, the elite of the elite you might call them. As we moved to fight the flaws in the economy, the people who grow rich from them, predictably, will fight back through every means necessary.

11. Our economy is going through a tough patch and you are being hurt by it. The cost of fuel has gone up. Food and other prices have followed it. Households and businesses struggle. Things seem anxious and uncertain. I understand the hardship you face. I wish there were other ways. But there is not. If there were, I would have taken that route as I came here to help not hurt the people and nation that I love.

12. What I can offer in the immediate is to reduce the burden our current economic situation has imposed on all of us, most especially on businesses, the working class and the most vulnerable among us.

13. Already, the Federal Government is working closely with states and local governments to implement interventions that will cushion the pains of our people across socio-economic brackets.

14. Earlier this month, I signed four (4) Executive Orders in keeping with my electoral promise to address unfriendly fiscal policies and multiple taxes that are stifling the business environment. These Executive Orders on suspension and deferred commencement of some taxes will provide the necessary buffers and headroom to businesses in manufacturing sector to continue to thrive and expand.

15. To strengthen the manufacturing sector, increase its capacity to expand and create good paying jobs, we are going to spend N75 billion between July 2023 and March 2024. Our objective is to fund 75 enterprises with great potential to kick-start a sustainable economic growth, accelerate structural transformation and improve productivity. Each of the 75 manufacturing enterprises will be able to access N1billion credit at 9% per annum with maximum of 60 months repayment for long term loans and 12 months for working capital.

16. Our administration recognises the importance of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and the informal sector as drivers of growth. We are going to energise this very important sector with N125 billion.

17. Out of the sum, we will spend N50 billion on Conditional Grant to 1 million nano businesses between now and March 2024. Our target is to give N50,000 each to 1,300 nano business owners in each of the 774 local governments across the country.

18. Ultimately, this programme will further drive financial inclusion by onboarding beneficiaries into the formal banking system. In like manner, we will fund 100,000 MSMEs and start-ups with N75 billion. Under this scheme, each enterprise promoter will be able to get between N500,000 to N1million at 9% interest per annum and a repayment period of 36 months.

19. To further ensure that prices of food items remain affordable, we have had a multi-stakeholder engagement with various farmers’ associations and operators within the agricultural value chain.

20. In the short and immediate terms, we will ensure staple foods are available and affordable. To this end, I have ordered release of 200,000 Metric Tonnes of grains from strategic reserves to households across the 36 states and FCT to moderate prices. We are also providing 225,000 metric tonnes of fertilizer, seedlings and other inputs to farmers who are committed to our food security agenda.

21. Our plan to support cultivation of 500,000 hectares of farmland and all-year-round farming practice remains on course. To be specific, N200 billion out of the N500 billion approved by the National Assembly will be disbursed as follows:

-Our administration will invest N50 billion each to cultivate 150,000 hectares of rice and maize.
-N50 billion each will also be earmarked to cultivate 100,000 hectares of wheat and cassava.

22. This expansive agricultural programme will be implemented targeting small-holder farmers and leveraging large-scale private sector players in the agric business with strong performance record.

23. In this regard, the expertise of Development Finance Institutions, commercial banks and microfinance banks will be tapped into to develop a viable and an appropriate transaction structure for all stakeholders.

24. Fellow Nigerians, I made a solemn pledge to work for you. How to improve your welfare and living condition is of paramount importance to me and it’s the only thing that keeps me up day and night.

25. It is in the light of this that I approved Infrastructure Support Fund for the States. This new Infrastructure Fund will enable States to intervene and invest in critical areas and bring relief to many of the pain points as well as revamp our decaying healthcare and educational Infrastructure.

26. The fund will also bring improvements to rural access roads to ease evacuation of farm produce to markets. With the fund, our states will become more competitive and on a stronger financial footing to deliver economic prosperity to Nigerians.

27. Part of our programme is to roll out buses across the states and local governments for mass transit at a much more affordable rate. We have made provision to invest N100 billion between now and March 2024 to acquire 3000 units of 20-seater CNG-fuelled buses.

28. These buses will be shared to major transportation companies in the states, using the intensity of travel per capital. Participating transport companies will be able to access credit under this facility at 9% per annum with 60 months repayment period.

29. In the same vein, we are also working in collaboration with the Labour unions to introduce a new national minimum wage for workers. I want to tell our workers this: your salary review is coming.

30. Once we agree on the new minimum wage and general upward review, we will make budget provision for it for immediate implementation.

31. I want to use this opportunity to salute many private employers in the Organised Private Sector who have already implemented general salary review for employees.

32. Fellow Nigerians, this period may be hard on us and there is no doubt about it that it is tough on us. But I urge you all to look beyond the present temporary pains and aim at the larger picture. All of our good and helpful plans are in the works. More importantly, I know that they will work.

33. Sadly, there was an unavoidable lag between subsidy removal and these plans coming fully on line. However, we are swiftly closing the time gap. I plead with you to please have faith in our ability to deliver and in our concern for your well-being.

34. We will get out of this turbulence. And, due to the measures we have taken, Nigeria will be better equipped and able to take advantage of the future that awaits her.

35. In a little over two months, we have saved over a trillion Naira that would have been squandered on the unproductive fuel subsidy which only benefitted smugglers and fraudsters. That money will now be used more directly and more beneficially for you and your families.

36. For example, we shall fulfill our promise to make education more affordable to all and provide loans to higher education students who may need them. No Nigerian student will have to abandon his or her education because of lack of money.

37. Our commitment is to promote the greatest good for the greatest number of our people. On this principle, we shall never falter.

38. We are also monitoring the effects of the exchange rate and inflation on gasoline prices. If and when necessary, we will intervene.

39. I assure you my fellow country men and women that we are exiting the darkness to enter a new and glorious dawn.

40. Now, I must get back to work in order to make this vision come true.

41. Thank you all for listening and may God bless Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Politics / Ibori Remains The Undisputed Leader Of Delta Politics. by spy9ja: 4:45pm On Jul 22, 2023
IBORI REMAINS THE UNDISPUTED LEADER OF DELTA POLITICS.

My attention has been drawn to the ongoing campaign of calumny and falsehood by some faceless group against our revered national leader and former Delta governor, Chief James Onanefe Ibori.

The groups allegedly sponsored by immediate past Delta governor, Okowa Ifeanyi, has taken it upon themselves to malign the name of James Ibori owing to his refusal not to support the preferred candidate of their benefactor in the March 18 gubernatorial polls.

The sponsored attacks against our leader which has raged on for a while now reached new heights yesterday following the very partial judgement given by Judge Tomlinson over the retrial of his confiscation hearing, which he had already emerged victorious in 2013.

While I am tempted to expantiate and talk about the confiscation hearing itself, I will refrain from doing so because our leader has personally and painstakingly clarified the issue, so my focus will remain on the Okowa attack dogs.

It's pertinent I draw the attention of these schemers that no matter what they do or say, it's clear like the early morning spring that James Onanefe remains the undisputed leader of Delta politics.

Again, I wish to enlighten them that there's no politician in the state today that didn't pass through the Ibori leadership school, including Ifeanyi Okowa. That Okowa ever had the opportunity to dream of becoming governor was because of Odidigborigbo.

We know that Okowa has been having sleepless nights over the strong connections between our leader and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The open arms which Mr. President continues to welcome Chief Ibori with into the villa has left him feeling unsteady especially as he is aware that the monumental fraud he presided over during the gubernatorial elections will soon be unraveled by the tribunal and there will be no one to cover his tracks.

Unlike Okowa, our national leader is not vindictive, neither do we have in PBAT a president who will practice selective justice and go after members of the opposition. Okowa should be rest assured that whatever fate that will befall him owing to his failure and abysmal performance in office will come only through legal means.

It's on record that Chief James Onanefe Ibori remains the best performing governor in the history of Delta state. So he good he was JIMRA (James Ibori Must Rule Again) was coined after just two years of his leadership as Delta 001.

Ibori's projects, many of which were constructed over twenty years ago, stands strong till this day. While majority of the projects undertaken by Okowa especially the many poorly constructed roads have all washed away and it's been only two months since Okowa left office.

Finally, for those microscopic few that will want to dance around the confiscation case here's a brief except from the statement released by our leader- "At this point in time words fail me and so the question for me as I take my case to the Court of Appeal, is, if I continue to believe that I may finally get some Justice is this the definition of madness? I know one thing for sure, that if I do not go to the Court of Appeal to contest this outrageous Order then my people will definitely say that I am a madman!".

We all know that the day the EFFC or any other financial watchdog will beam their searchlight on the eight years of Okowa's governance, the revelations will leave us with a gaping mouth for weeks.

Idi Presley writes from Asaba, capital of Delta State.

Travel / Max Air Airlines Ceases Operations Due To Including Fuel Contamination Scandal. by spy9ja: 1:09pm On Jul 22, 2023
Max Air Airlines Ceases Operations Due to Multiple Factors, Including Fuel Contamination Scandal.

Max Air Airlines Halts Operations Due to Various Factors, Including Fuel Contamination Scandal."

Here are some reasons why Max Air Airlines immediately ceased operations:

1. Regulatory issues: Airlines must comply with various regulations and safety standards set by aviation authorities. If Max Air Airlines failed to meet these requirements or faced regulatory non-compliance issues, it could have resulted in the suspension or revocation of their operating license.

2. Maintenance and safety concerns: Airlines prioritize passenger safety and aircraft maintenance. If Max Air Airlines encountered persistent maintenance issues or faced safety concerns that were not adequately addressed, it could have negatively impacted their ability to continue operating.

Reported that Fuel Contamination was the main reason why Max Air ceased operation, it is important to note that mixing water with aviation fuel is a dangerous and illegal act that can have severe consequences. It compromises the safety and integrity of an aircraft's fuel system, potentially leading to engine failure or other catastrophic incidents. The motivation behind such actions could be driven by greed or a desire for financial gain, but it is crucial to emphasize that this behavior is illegal, unethical, and endangers the lives of passengers and crew members.

Blaming the entire government for the actions of a few individuals involved in such illegal activities would be unfair. It is important to hold individuals accountable for their actions while recognizing that the government's responsibility lies in enforcing regulations and ensuring the safety and security of its citizens.

Politics / Benue Exposed: Pdp In Last Minute Frustration And Desperation by spy9ja: 8:39am On Mar 03, 2023
BENUE PDP IN LAST MINUTE FRUSTRATION AND DESPERATION ,AS THE PARTY BEGS OTHER MINOR POLITICAL PARTIES TO JOIN FORCES WITH HER TO FIGHT REV. FR. HYACINTH ALIA!!

Information reaching us has that the Benue PDP which is on live support till 11th March,2023 has found itself in a very desperate, frustrating and precarious condition to the extent of engaging in some kind of feeble plea bargains for other minor political parties to help her survive the inescapable political guillotine which the Benue people/electorates have prepared to put a final extinction to her atrocious and agonizing government and leadership in Benue State.

Further sources also affirmed that the Benue PDP has called for a meeting with all heads of government boards, agencies and parastatals under the PDP state leadership. In the meeting, the PDP virtually wailed out in frustration, anger and desperation calling and challenging all the heads of such PDP government agencies, bodies and parastatals to join forces with the party to resist the Benue people who have made their minds to elect Very Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia as the next democratically elected governor of Benue State. Though the meeting ended up with mixed reactions among those that participated in it,as many of them refused to key into an agenda that cannot see the light of the day. Some members in the meeting clearly stated that the coming of Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia is like a movement and the decision by the Benue people to elect Rev. Fr. Alia on 11th March,2023 cannot be stopped by them.

In another dimension, the PDP is also desperately begging the Labour Party for a plea bargain. The PDP had approached the labour for support and to concede their governorship ambition to PDP,promising that PDP will support the Labour Party to win state assembly seats.

However, the Labour Party on the other hand rejected the offer, insisting that the PDP should rather concede the governorship to the Labour Party, while the Labour Party would support the PDP to win state assembly seats. While all these dilly dallying and shilly shallying has taken over the centre stage of confusion, despair, frustration, focuslessness of ether of the two political parties, the underlining fact remains that neither the PDP nor Labour Party in Benue State can alter the destiny of YES FATHER for the good of the state.

It is curious to state and indeed, ridiculous to realize that the Benue PDP which once prided itself as the leading party in the state has now become so impotent to the extent of begging cap in hand for other minor political parties in the state to join forces with her to fight Rev. Fr. Alia on the 11th of March!! It suffices to unequivocally mention that the Benue people have risen to the occasion of totally rejecting a very fake, deceitful and atrocious government of the PDP which has unrepentantly taken the good people of the state for unpardonable ride. Let the PDP know that the Benue people are very conscious of the dire consequences of failing into the trap of any fictitious, mischievous and ill-fated alliance of the PDP with any other party for the sake of fighting Rev. Fr. Alia, and they will always reject and resist such plans and gimmicks by the PDP to get any votes from them!

Come to think of it,how will any leading alliance of the PDP with any minor political party to fight Rev. Fr. Alia help in resolving the PDP-induced socio-economic miasma on the lives and survival of the Benue people??

Such miasmas like the gross economic philosophy of non payment of salaries, non payment of pension to pensioners, lack of basic amenities, poor rural roads, poor accountability by the government, swindling of tertiary education students over scholarships, high level unemployment, high level poverty, persistent hunger, collapse of local industries, sell and buying of state owned assets by PDP members, etc, when indeed,PDP happens to be the architect and perpetuators of these socio-economic agonies can never be allowed by the people going forward.

We call on the good people of Benue State to remain focused in their historic determination and onerous decision to send the PDP packing on the 11th of March,2023. The PDP have nothing to give the Benue people so they should not and cannot be allowed to continually be the problem of the Benue people in a new era when prosperity and happiness are expected to define their existence as children of God.

Let the Benue people have a new dawn of political leadership that has the vision, foresight, capacity and Godliness to do things differently. And that new dawn focuses on Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia as the next democratically elected governor of Benue State, come 11th March,2023.

Thank you and God bless.

Jobs/Vacancies / 2023 Elections: Technology Experts Explain How Atiku, Okowa's Voices Were Cloned by spy9ja: 3:37pm On Feb 24, 2023
In the run-up to the 2023 Nigerian Presidential elections tomorrow 25th Febuary, a new kind of political attack campaign has emerged, using cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology to clone the voices of political figures. The most recent example involves the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and his running mate Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, whose voices has been cloned using A.I. technology in an attempt to discourage voters before tomorrow's elections .

The viral voice recording, which purports to be Atiku Abubakar making comments about INEC, has been circulating on social media in Nigeria, causing a stir among the electorate. However, technology experts have now come forward to debunk the recording, pointing out irregularities that prove it is a fake, generated using sophisticated A.I. software that can mimic the sound and intonation of any human voice. They cited online services like www.respeecher.com and www.Resemble.ai which clone speech that are indistinguishable from the original speaker.

"Artificial intelligence is an incredible tool that has many useful applications, but it can also be used for nefarious purposes," said Dr. Ndubuisi Ekekwe, a technology expert based in Lagos. "In this case, someone has used A.I. to clone Atiku Abubakar's voice and create a recording that never actually happened. We need to be vigilant and aware of these kinds of techniques, especially in the political sphere. I also hope the law enforcement authorities are getting more sophisticated inn their investigations to hold those propagating these sort of dangerous activities"

Dr. Ekekwe went on to explain that A.I. voice cloning technology has advanced rapidly in recent years, and it is now possible to create convincing fake recordings that are almost indistinguishable from real ones. However, there are ways to detect fake recordings, such as analyzing the waveform and frequency of the voice, which can reveal anomalies that are characteristic of A.I. generated speech.

As the Nigerian Presidential election approaches, it is likely that we will see more instances of A.I.-generated voice cloning being used in political campaigns. However, with the help of technology experts like Dr. Ekekwe, it is possible to expose these fake recordings and prevent them from influencing the outcome of the election.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Candidate in Ogun State, Hon Oladipupo Adebutu , has promised to set up a Commission for border communities in the State if elected as Governor in the 2023 general elections.

He noted that the border communities in the State urgently need special attention of the Federal, State and Local Governments.

Adebutu gave the pledge on Wednesday at his party's campaign rally held in Ipokia Local Government Area of the State.

At the event, the Governorship Candidate also donated transformer to Ipokia community and promised to restore peace and economic stability as well as provide necessary infrastructure if elected.

Adebutu explained that his proposed Commission would look into and address many of the challenges confronting the border communities in the State.

In his remarks, the PDP Deputy Governorship Candidate, Hon Abdul Kabir Adekunle Akinlade, declared that Adebutu represents the hope for a better and more prosperous future for the State.

He recalled how Adebutu supported his previous Governorship bid under the platform of Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in 2019, stressing that it was now time for Ipokia residents to reciprocate the kind gesture.

Akinlade vowed to do everything within the ambit of the law to stop the bid by the Lagos West Senator (Senator Olamilekan Adeola YAYI) to be elected as a Senator in Ogun West.

He further said, " , . .

Akinlade urged the voters in the area and across the State to cast their votes for PDP in the forthcoming Governorship election.

" ' ," he added.

Also speaking, the State PDP Chairman, Hon Sikirulai Ogundele, appealed to Ipokia residents to vote for PDP.

Ogundele, who contended that the economic situation of the State was poor, enjoined the people to exercise their civic responsibility to put an end to bad governance.

Politics / Prince Arthur Eze Has Finally Spoken Out About Peter Obi's Impossible Dream by spy9ja: 6:53pm On Dec 27, 2022
Prince Arthur Eze has finally spoken out about Peter Obi's impossible dream of becoming our next president.

The billionaire owns Atlas Oranto, Nigeria's largest privately held oil company, as well as the largest holder of exploration blocks in Africa.

I advised Peter Obi to withdraw from the race, but he refused. I informed him categorically that I was not a part of his plans.

This was sufficient warning to all obedient supporters both locally and internationally that Obi appears to be a game player who exploits the emotions, feelings, and love of his few supporters. This is due to how unjust Obi is to his supporters, despite the fact that he knows he's not going anywhere.
