[b][/b]The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Candidate in Ogun State, Hon Oladipupo Adebutu , has promised to set up a Commission for border communities in the State if elected as Governor in the 2023 general elections.

He noted that the border communities in the State urgently need special attention of the Federal, State and Local Governments.

Adebutu gave the pledge on Wednesday at his party's campaign rally held in Ipokia Local Government Area of the State.

At the event, the Governorship Candidate also donated transformer to Ipokia community and promised to restore peace and economic stability as well as provide necessary infrastructure if elected.

Adebutu explained that his proposed Commission would look into and address many of the challenges confronting the border communities in the State.

In his remarks, the PDP Deputy Governorship Candidate, Hon Abdul Kabir Adekunle Akinlade, declared that Adebutu represents the hope for a better and more prosperous future for the State.

He recalled how Adebutu supported his previous Governorship bid under the platform of Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in 2019, stressing that it was now time for Ipokia residents to reciprocate the kind gesture.

Akinlade vowed to do everything within the ambit of the law to stop the bid by the Lagos West Senator (Senator Olamilekan Adeola YAYI) to be elected as a Senator in Ogun West.

Also speaking, the State PDP Chairman, Hon Sikirulai Ogundele, appealed to Ipokia residents to vote for PDP.

The Peoples Democratic Party held their Presidential Campaign rally today in AWKA Anambra State in continuation of the party's build up to the 2023 Presidential election.

The Alex Ekwueme Centre, the venue of the event was filled to capacity as the party bigwigs and supporters thronged the venue in solidarity with the party and it's standard bearer, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar (GCON).

Speaking admidst cheers from the mammoth crowd, the Wazirin Adamawa admitted that he was overwhelmed by the crowd of supporters that come out in their numbers to pledge their support to the party, mentioning that the state will be amply rewarded if he is elected president come 2023.

The former vice-president recalled the meeting he had earlier with the state governor, when he paid him a courtesy visit, as discussions were held on the importance controlling the erosion in Anambra State, rehabilitation of federal roads in the state, dredging of the River Niger and reviving of the River Port at Onitsha.

Atiku pledged that he would pay special attention to all those challenges if elected president. In addition, he promised to join hands with the state government to turn the state into an industrial hub.

Furthermore, the PDP Presidential Candidate revealed his desire to work with the Igbo, stating that his election into the office of the president is a stepping stone to Igbo presidency.

Other dignitaries who spoke at the occasion include: Senator Iyorchia Ayu, the PDP National chairman, Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, the Sokoto State governor and the PDP presidential campaign Council DG, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the Delta State governor and running mate to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Chief Ben Obi. Sen. Dino Malaye among others.

On his part, Ayu thanked the people of Anambra State for their support and then took his audience through memory lane about how Dr. Alex Ekwueme, an illustrious son of the state led him, Atiku and others to form the PDP.

He commended the business intelligence and the indomitable spirit of the Igbos and urged them to vote a business minded person like Atiku, who is also their son-in-law, that will change the Nigeria business climate which will enable them to do their business with ease.

Senator Ifeanyi Okowa who addressed the people in Igbo language thanked the party faithful in the state for their efforts and resilience. He urged the people to eschew sentiment and vote right in order to end insecurity and marginalization with the hope that the party would win the 2023 presidential election.

Speaking in the same vein, the PDP PCC campaign DG, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, enjoined the people to vote for competence, experience and preparedness which Atiku/Okowa ticket represents.

TELL THE G-5 GOVERNORS TO BE COMMITTED TO RECONCILIATRY MOVES, ONDO PDP NEW GENERATION URGES "PDP SOUTH-WEST INTEGRITY YOUTH GROUP".

Our attention has been drawn to the positions made at a press briefing granted by a group of attention-seeking youths masquerading as the PDP South-West Integrity Youth Group (PS-WIYG) in Akure where the group declared in support of the agitation of the G-5 Governors on the ground that it reinforces the principle of equity, justice, and fairness.

Ordinarily, we wouldn't have dignified the attention-seeking adventure of the group with a response but for the sake of the undiscerning public who might want to take their self-seeking outing for objectivity, it becomes highly imperative for us to address the issues raised.

The Peoples Democratic Party, as enshrined in its constitution has a character built around democratic tendencies and administrative procedures, this is to say that the Party has democratic laid-down procedures in administering its affairs.

The Party in its constitution has provided means for aggrieved party faithful to ventilate their grievance and sort for resolution. To us in the PDP, convention and double-standard morality cannot override our laws.

The position of our Presidential Candidate, H.E Atiku Abubakar, to the demand for the resignation of the Party's National Chairman, Sen Iyorchia Ayu, by the G-5 Governors is clear, he has said on several occasions that he has no constitutional power as the candidate of the Party to order the Chairman to resign, and as such advised the Governors to explore a means empowered by the constitution to press their demands.

H.E Atiku Abubakar in his commitment to the resolution of the crisis said in a recent interview that he has met with the group five times to discuss possible means to see an end to the crisis and that he is waiting for them to act on their resolve.

The principle of equity, fairness, and justice on which the agitation of the G-5 Governors hinge is unambiguous, will it be a fair, equitable, and just treatment on the person of the National Chairman to be unceremoniously removed as the chairman of the Party when he has not committed any crime that demands such treatment.

It's public knowledge that the emergence of the National Chair is a creation of the PDP Governors, the question now is what has changed? Will the G-5 Governors embark on their agitation if the leader of the group, Gov. Nyesome Wike of Rivers State was chosen to be the running mate to the PDP Presidential Candidate, H.E Atiku Abubakar? Is Governor Wike or any of agitating crew more southern than the likes of Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa, Gov. Emmanuel Udom, Gov. Diri Duoye, Gov. Godwin Obaseki, Gov. Ademola Adeleke, and others?

The agitation of the G-5 Governors more than the Southern interest it said to protect looks more like a self-serving agenda, should they now allow their personal interest to stop them from contributing their quota to Nigeria's recovery agenda as presented by the PDP, the answer by any well-meaning Nigeria is No.

Nigeria is obviously on the cliff edge and the input of all Nigerians is needed to rescue the ship from capsizing, H.E Atiku Abubakar has expressed his total commitment to bring every intending person on board to deliver the country from the misrule of the APC, it is on the basis that will urge the PDP SOUTH-WEST INTEGRITY YOUTH GROUP, if it, however, has a valid existence to urge the G-5 Governors to show commitment to the reconciliatory moves made by the PDP Presidential Candidate, H.E Atiku Abubakar and join the train as we set to recover Nigeria for progress.

…Says Ondo People Cannot be Subdued

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) alerts of plots by the rejected All Progressives Congress (APC) to orchestrate violence and disrupt the PDP Presidential Campaign Rally scheduled for Akure, Ondo State Capital on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

The APC, having lost all foothold in Ondo State and dazed by the increasing popularity of the PDP and our Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, over its deflated Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has resorted to violence in a desperate bid to disrupt PDP Presidential Campaign Rally in the State.

The PDP is aware of plots by the APC to import thugs from Kogi State and station them at strategic locations along roads and intersections leading to the PDP Campaign Rally venue in Akure town to attack PDP members and other Nigerians similar to the dastardly acts APC perpetuated against the PDP in our Kaduna and Borno States rallies.

APC leaders are reportedly bragging that APC-led Ondo State Government had bribed commercial road transporters in the State not to provide transportation to PDP members and supporters so as to frustrate their movement to the venue of the PDP Presidential Campaign Rally.

The PDP states clearly that it cannot be deterred by the APC’s plots which will be firmly resisted by the people of Ondo State. The people, having gone through excruciating seven and half years of pains and hopelessness under the APC are now in total support of the PDP and Atiku Abubakar.

The APC is cautioned to note that the people of Ondo State have NEVER and will NEVER be subdued or repressed by any oppressive force. The history of Ondo people is replete with stiff resistance to oppression, repression and any attempt by anybody to disrupt their normal peaceful lives.

We therefore urge Governor Rotimi Akeredolu as the Chief Law Officer of the State to call his party members to order as he will be held responsible should there be any attack on PDP members or breakdown of Law and Order before, during and after the PDP Presidential Rally in the State.

The PDP also charges security agencies to take immediate action to halt the APC and its thugs in their nefarious plot against the people of Ondo State. Any attempt by the APC to disrupt the PDP Campaign is a direct assault against the people of Ondo State and they will definitely resist it.

For the umpteenth time, our Party calls on President Muhammadu Buhari, even in the face of the inevitable defeat of the APC in the 2023 general elections, to rein in his party members as their actions have the capacity of derailing our democratic process.

The PDP salutes and commends the people of Ondo State for their courage and determination to stand with our Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar in the PDP’s mission to Rescue, Rebuild and Redirect our nation from the horrible misrule of the APC.

Comrade Abayomi Arabambi the National publicity Secretary of Labour Party and his accomplice Barrister Samuel Oyelekan Akingbade the National Legal Adviser of Labour Party have been detected to be the biggest enemies of the OBIDIENT movement and Labour Party.

Investigation reveals that the duo collected over five hundred million naira (500,000,000) from APC chieftain Rt. Hon Femi Gbajabiamila to use their national offices respectfully to disenfranchise qualified and credible candidates from contesting on the platform of Labour party in Lagos State.

Under the supervision of Comrade Abayomi Arabambi and Barr. Akingbade the National Legal adviser of the party, Labour party lost cases of 14 states in one day without appeal concerning candidates of the party in Lagos and other states who were ommited in the INEC final list released on the 20th of September 2022. Labour party Lagos State as the centre of excellence, personally took the National Assembly Candidates' case to an appeal court in Abuja and after so much effort by the state chairman of the party in Lagos State and other well meaning leaders of the party in Lagos, judgement was given in favour of Labour Party Lagos for the party's original candidates to be uploaded by INEC despite the presence of the state chairman of Labour party Lagos, the deputy chairman, some house of reps candidates in court for the delivery of judgement; It is so disheartening that the National Publicity Secretary of Labour party (Comrade Abayomi Arabambi) described a judgement in favour of his party as a fraudulent judgement in a bid to satisfy the opposition party that he has vowed to help them frustrate Labour Party Lagos State. His secret message to the National Chairman of Labour party Barr. Julius Abure which he copied some chieftains of the APC reads; "Good morning sir. I understand a judgement was fraudulently obtained from the court of appeal and above was the list presented to you. As a member of temple of justice, I will advise that you as the national Chairman discountenance this fraudulent names and judgement as it will plunge LP into unprecedented legal issues. You are my brother and that's the reason I am giving you this advise. Sir pls discountenance this fraudulent judgement. This is my advise sir.

Recall that APC presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu keeps saying that Labour Party members and followers are labouring in vain. Arabambi's attitude towards the party's success shows that he (Arabambi) is working in respect to cash exchange between him and the Chieftains of APC to frustrate the Labour of well meaning Nigerians.

The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organisation says that the rejection of electronic transmission of results through the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) and INEC Election Result Viewing portal (IReV) by the All Progressives Congress (APC) confirms that the APC and its Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, do not have genuine followership among Nigerians ahead of the 2023 elections.

The Atiku Campaign maintains that the APC has realized that given its mass failures across the spectrum of our polity, it does not enjoy the support of Nigerians and as such is scared of any process that will deliver a credible balloting in the elections.

APC's mortal fear of mass rejection at the polls is directly behind its unnecessary tantrums against the electronic transmission of results.

It is abundantly clear that the APC’s plan is to return our electoral process to the days of mass rigging through the use Incidence Forms, ballot box snatching, ballot stuffing and other electoral malpractices.

Having become frustrated because of the introduction of technology to improve the electoral process, the APC is seeking ways to manipulate the elections to enable it to re-enact the horrible electoral seasons of its devious act of holding electoral officers by their jugulars and forcing them to write results for APC candidates.

The APC will desire to deploy the use of armed helicopters in order to chase away Nigerians from their polling stations so as to write results and force same on INEC officials.

The Atiku/Okowa Campaign urges Nigerians to remain vigilant on the decision reached by INEC to promote the integrity of our electoral process.

The only option left for the APC is to accept the reality of its rejection and quietly fizzle away from our political firmament.

After all, the APC has since lost the statutory integrity to field candidates in the 2023 general elections due to its illegal and unconstitutional congresses.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been directed to immediately begin Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) till 90 days before the general elections of 2023 by Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court, Abuja.

As part of his ruling, Justice Ekwo instructed INEC to make sure that all eligible Nigerians get the chance to get voter registration cards for the upcoming election.

He maintained that the electoral umpire had a constitutional duty to ensure that the election was conducted in conformity with Nigerian law.

One Anajat Salmat and three other people sued INEC, claiming that the electoral authority cannot halt voter registration in violation of the specified provisions of the constitution.

They pleaded with the court to direct the electoral umpire to resume the process in conformity with the law of the land.
After a one-month extension, INEC terminated the CVR in July after the Federal High Court dismissed a lawsuit brought by the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) that attempted to extend the exercise through June 30, 2022.

Atiku Abubakar never breached PDP policy, it was Gov. Wike and his allies like; Sen. Sam Daddy Anyanwu, Govs. Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, Samuel Ortom of Benue State, Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, that breached PDP Agreement and should be held responsible.

When this game started, there were (two) clans of PDP Presidential position in the South-East extraction, and they are Sen. Pius Anyim and Mr. Peter Obi.

Ihedioha, Gov. Diri of Bayelsa State, Tambuwal, H/E Jonathan were on the side of Sen. Pius Anyim, with the objective of Sen. Pius Anyim becoming the Presidential Candidate, while Tambuwal will deputize him.

Atiku Abubakar, Obaseke, Saraki, and Okowa were on the side of Mr. Peter Obi, with the objective of Mr. Peter Obi becoming the Presidential Candidate, while Saraki deputize him. All these were on plan based on the Party Agreement after 2019 General Election.

Later, Govs. Okezie Ikpeazu, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Samuel Ortom and Seyi Makinde ignored what was agreed to side Gov. Wike.

PDP intentionally brought National Secretary to Anambra State, in order to strengthen Mr. Peter Obi, but when Gov. Wike noticed it, he called on the (two) PDP Governors in the South-East to reject it and support Sen. Sam Daddy Anyanwu so as to pave way for them, which they did.

Remember that Mr. Peter Obi, Ihedioha, and Achike Udenwa refused and asked that the position of National Secretary should go to the appropriate place mentioned, but Govs. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and Okezie Ikpeazu refused, of course you know that they are the only (two) Governors in the South-East, their choice will not be easy to reject.

That was the place Mr. Peter Obi and Ihedioha started having doubt on the issue of the President. Remember that there was an Agreement signed by the PDP Stakeholders for the Presidential Ticket to be zoned to South-East, but Gov. Samuel Ortom being the Chairman of the Zoning Committee aborted it, and throw it open simply because he wants Gov. Wike against the initial plan.

Atiku Abubakar came into consideration when Mr. Peter Obi resigned from the race, because then there were so many atrocities in South-East PDP, courtesy of Sen. Sam Daddy Anyanwu, but the Party Leaders like: Obaseke, Saraki, Tambuwal, Ihedioha and others who believe in equity, justice and fairness saw that the only person to get this Ticket out from Gov. Wike is Atiku Abubakar, that was why all the South-South Governors fought against Gov. Wike even to the extent of Vice Presidential choice.

At initial stage, PDP Governors didn’t want Atiku Abubakar, that was why Atiku Abubakar encouraged Mr. Peter Obi to go, and pick Nomination Form.

If we are to blame, we should blame the (two) PDP Governors from the South-East extraction that sold out for the interest of Gov. Wike as against South-East, Sen. Sam Daddy Anyanwu included.

Gov. Wike really dealt with Mr. Peter Obi Presidential ambition, Gov. Wike and Sen.Sam Daddy Anyanwu went to the extent of disqualifying the Executives of PDP in Anambra State through Court, had it been that Party Executives were allowed to vote, Anambra State PDP Executives wouldn't have voted, by then what could have been Mr. Peter Obi's faith in the race.

So to me, let's fight Those that breached the Agreement, and allow People who didn't do anything wrong.

Atiku Abubakar was not the one that throw the Primary Election open, it was Gov. Samuel Ortom who was the Chairman of the Zoning Committee that did it for the interest of Gov. Wike.

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar (GCON) yesterday in Gombe promised to ensure economic stability if elected the president in the forthcoming election.

Addressing a mammoth crowd of cheering party chieftains and supporters who trooped out in Gombe Township Stadium, the former vice-president promised to work for the economic development and stability of the country.

He assured the people of Gombe that his government will revive the dilapidated Dadin Kowa Dam and appealed to the indigenes of the state to give him the opportunity to be another Tafawa Belewa for them, noting that it has been a long time since the sub-region produced a leader of the country.

Atiku stated that coming to Gombe is a homecoming for him. He gave an assurance of addressing the problem of insecurity in the Northeast and pledged to restore peace and fast track economic development in the country.

The PDP stakeholders in Gombe pledged their loyalty and support to Atiku and the party.

The Supreme Court on Monday, 21st November has directed the retrial of the case between Otunba Jimi Lawal vs PDP, Adebutu for the determination of the authentic delegates of the party.

The appellate court had reserved judgement till Monday following the hearing and adoption of processes by counsels to parties in the suit last Tuesday.

Reacting to the judgement, the Media Director Ladi Adebutu Campaign Organization, Afolabi Orekoya said the judgement has just given the party another opportunity to have the Court correct the wrongs at the lower court by the determination of the authentic delegates of the party.

He said “the matter was not treated on its merit by Justice Taiwo Taiwo who struck it out based on jurisdiction. Now, it is an opportunity for the court to look at the merits of the case and decide if an individual or INEC can produce delegates for the party or the responsibility of the party to produce its delegates”.

“We are hoping for true justice at the Appeal Court which will set aside the Federal High Court Judgements that ordered rerun of the primaries of the party in Ogun state delivered by Justice O. Oguntoyinbo on 27th September, 2022”.

It was an exciting day in Gombe as the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, commissions a befitting PDP Presidential campaign office, which was donated by Jamilu Isyaku Gwamna.

Prior to the commissioning, the former Vice President paid homage to the Emir of Gombe, HRH Abubakar Shehu Abubakar, before attending a wedding fatiha of his friend’s son, Alhaji Muhammad Alhajiyel, which drew many important personalities to the ceremony.

In a fit of temporary coherence, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress ( APC) in Delta State, as usual departed from issues and devoted his limited attention to His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, who must be giving him nightmares on the 2023 Preidential election.

According to the APC Presidential candidate, Atiku 'fought' Obasanjo, while in office. We owe it a deep gratitude that Tinubu has recalled this fine attribute of Atiku Abubakar, who while he served as the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria defended the constitution and deepened Nigeria's democracy.

It is not a surprise that Tinubu would castigate a man who defended the rule of law. A man who is running from the law on many fronts can not see merit in defending the rule of law.

It is to Atiku's eternal credit that he stood firm in pursuit of his conviction that the loyalty of public officers is to the constitution and not to individuals. This position will definitely be at variance with the disposition of a man of tyrannical antecedents like Tinubu, who in exhibition of undemocratic tendencies fought his female Deputy Governor, Mrs Kofo Akereke-Bucknor until she was removed from office. The treatment he gave to Mr Femi Pedro was not any better. Why then did he focus on the jot in someone's eyes while overlooking the log in his own?

The removal of Tinubu's first Deputy Governor from office was a gross betrayed of Afenifere who had nominated the former Deputy Governor as part of the group's understanding for supporting Tinubu's election as Governor of Lagos State. This conduct is a proof that Tinubu can not be trusted with power.

Day by day it is becoming apparent who to trust with power between Atiku and Tinubu. While Atiku defended the constitution and the rule of law, Tinubu has no record of such. Rather, he remains a perpetual candidate of legal inquisitions.


With Tinubu's insistence to continue to fumble on campaign rostrum and entertain crowds at political venues, he needs to focus on what works for Nigeria and not a continuous descent into Tom and Jerry stories about Atiku.

Yesterday in Jos, after weeks of procrastination and rehearsals, Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress demonstrated another pattern of unfitness for the office he seeks to occupy. From his unsteady gaits to his incoherence and the unintended but welcome prayer for the PDP, all was a theatrical exhibition of a misplaced ambition.

The manifestation in Jos is a further consolidation of a pattern in the physical and psychological composition of Tinubu, who a few weeks ago shocked his host, Governor Nasir El-Rufai when he said Nigeria would go from rotten to bad. [b][/b]The Court of Appeal, Abuja division on Wednesday delivered a ruling granting the application of appeal filed by Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu against the judgement of the Federal High Court, Abeokuta, delivered on 27th September, 2022 which ordered a fresh governorship primary election.

It will be recalled that the appeal court at its sitting on Monday reserved ruling on this application till today after arguments for and against the application by the two counsels to Adebutu, Chief Chris Uche, SAN and Dr. Kemi Peinhero, SAN for Olabode & Co (Jimi LAWAL’s cohorts).

The arguments ensued after the court informed the sitting that Hon. ADEBUTU’S Appeal had been allocated with Appeal No. CA/IB/411A/2022 and with a motion to rely on the records earlier compiled and transmitted by the National body of PDP in Appeal No. CA/IB/411/2022 that was moved by Chief Uche seeking the court’s grant for the application.

Counsel to Olabode & co (Jimi Lawal) urged the court to dismiss the application on the grounds that the application was incompetent in his view.

Delivering the court ruling on the application, Justice Folashade Ojo said the decision to allow the application of Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu was a unanimous decision of the three panelists, Justice Moore Adumein, Hon. Justice Folashade Ojo and Justice Yargata Nimpa.

A member of Atiku's campaign team, Rivers State, came under attack while trying to post Atiku's campaign poster in Omuma LGA. Comr. Wisdom Enyi, the Coordinator of the Media wing of Atiku's Support Team, alleges that the said attack was ordered by Gov. Wike and carried out by Hon. Kelechi Nwogu.

The assailed supporter of Atiku is still hospitalized and struggling to survive from the cuts inflicted on him. This dastardly act, according to Wisdom, bespeaks the worst form of politics of bitterness orchestrated by a sitting governor.

The law enforcement agencies are, by this distress call, urged to swing into action to uncover and apprehend the culprits. Politics should never be played this way in the 21st century. This is absolutely unacceptable.
