PoliticsRe: SSS Parades Suspect Hired By Governor Akpabio To ‘kill’ Senator Etok by spywareczar(op): 6:57am On May 07, 2013
Money ɪ̣̝̇§ the root of all politics
PoliticsSSS Parades Suspect Hired By Governor Akpabio To ‘kill’ Senator Etok by spywareczar(op): 10:08pm On May 06, 2013
The State Security Service (SSS) today paraded a suspect, ex-militant Adelola Tamunotonye Olaore, alias "General Africa" over a plot to assassinate and extort money from Senator Aloysius Etok in Abuja.

Senator Etok is the man that Governor Goodswill Akpabio openly admitted having rigged into office, although the Senator has said his election was transparent.

But Senator Etok also occupies the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial Seat, the same seat that the governor covets in 2015 when he cannot run for a third term, giving the impression it is merely being held in trust for him.

The suspect, who was born in Port Harcourt, hails from Okeho in Kajola Local Government of Oyo State. He confessed to having been contracted by three of Governor Akpabio’s loyalists to assassinate Senator Etok. In order to convince the Senator [he was not lying] he offered to furnish him with details of the Governor’s purported Bank Account and Energy Company in South Africa.

Adelola said that he wanted to broker peace between Governor Akpabio and Senator Etok, having followed the political wrangling between the duo over the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial Seat.

He confessed to having used the political rift to extort money but he was apprehended by the security operatives.

That development following a directive from the SSS to the Senator who had written a letter to the service titled “REPORT OF THE PLANNED ASSASINATION BY A MAN WHO CALLS HIMSELF GENERAL AFRICA (AN-EX MILLITANT)”

The Senator was asked to play along with the suspect, leading to his arrest on April 29.
Governor Akpabio, a personal friend of President Goodluck Jonathan, has made it plain he will represent the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District in the Senate in 2015, an ambition that has the entire Peoples Democratic Party machinery in the state behind him, including a faction of the legislature which recently adopted a resolution warning Senator Etok they will only support Akpabio’s Senatorial candidature in the forthcoming election.

Speaking recently in an interview about the political manipulations in Akwa Ibom State, the Senator said, “That is what happened during my second term struggle that as soon as they knew I was going to contest, my wife was kidnapped. After the release of my wife, my mother in law was kidnapped.

“When she was released, she died because of the torture she received in the hands of the kidnappers. As a result of that my father in law died out the heart break. Therefore, I also want Nigerians to ask Governor Akpabio what I have done to him. I have not done anything to him. I want all of you, like I am going to send a petition to the President, to ask Governor Akpabio to let me be. That his hit squad which he has resurrected should let me live. If anything happens to me, I want the world to know that Governor Akpabio is after my life.”

PoliticsRe: GEJ Is Yet To Visit The People Of Baga: Why? by spywareczar(m): 8:46pm On May 06, 2013
BAGA ISSUE A FOOD FOR THOUGHT
By: Caleb
What happened at Baga is another lesson to the Hausa community who are bent to harboring foreigners in the bid to helping them fight their so called Jihad. It reminds me of the Ajia Lolo episode in 1992 Zagon Kataf mayhem where anunderground armory was said to have been kept in Samaru Kataf Mayayit road. Time will fail me to count from episodes, but if they are thinking well they ought to know that they are only keeping a time bomb that will catch up with them. Niger is suffering from the residue of the Libyan so called brothers they harbor for years today. Of recent in Zaria the Nigerian immigration arrested 182 foreigners of cause you know it is in the name that they are Muslims. It is a well known fact that no other ethnic group in Nigeria that does not know its citizens. But the Hausa community claim they do not know how what has befallen us came about. Why are they now saying Muslims are the most killed in this mayhem which started with bombing of churches at a spontaneous rateto a large scale attack? One can throw a stone in the market he or she might not be able to say who it might hit. And so when the military does what seems right for this Nation Nigeria what they need is an applause and not a sentimental coating as if we do not know what is happening. The episode of raid all over the north are always done by insurgence who are foreigners drafted to help fight Jihad while the real settler leave the town or pretend they do not know what is happening. This has happenedto Kaduna City, Kafanchan, Zangon Kataf, Jos, Kano, Bauchi, Borno, Potiskum and of recent Benue and Nssarawa state. Any community that is found harboring insurgence should be dealt with. Human right activist should leave OUR security operatives to do their work. The God of the Christians is Alive and no one can add or subtract.

CareerRe: Offer Letter In Jos Or Kadunna Confused by spywareczar(m): 11:54pm On May 03, 2013
chux76: Bro..to be frank with you I can only talk about where I have stayed and where I am still living at present. I was raised in Lagos, schooled in Benin and by virtue of my work then,I have traveled and lived in quite a few states, but right now I am settled in in Kaduna state. I moved over to Kaduna in 2009/2010 precisely and I must say I have never regretted it at all. I know how Kaduna works now..I totally know.

So far I have witnessed 2 crises in Kaduna state; The post-election crises and the last year's bombing of 2 churches which caused a reprisal attack by the Christian youths, which I must say was even deadlier than the post-election crises, but in these 2 scenario I have come to understand Kaduna very very very well.
The onus of the matter is that Kaduna presently is "divided" into 2: predominantly Muslim North aka Kaduna North and the predominantly Christian south aka Kaduna South, and I have lived in the South ever since I moved here,I stay in Sabo now.
As long as you live on the South, whenever "gbege" set you are SAFE,except in a situation where you are in the North when it happens, even at that, you can always still find your way to the southern part which will ALWAYS be a safe abode. There can never be an attack by FULANIS on Christians in the SOUTH...and I say NEVER because it would be suicidal for them,in fact the muslims that come to hustle in the southern part are always very mindful of their behavior. Those tales of gunmen attacking one village or the other is a rare occurrence in Kaduna state except you are living in the remote villages, which I know would not be.

Your company might be located in the Northern part, but I'll advise you get an accommodation in the southern part.
As far as safety is concerned I must say..Kaduna is a very safe place to stay.
Now for the social aspect of KD things,I must give you one advice...If care is not taken you will be carried away by the life here. Grooving in KD is very cheap, much much less compared to Lagos, and like I always tell my friends, the only thing we dey lack in KD na beach..then maybe those shows they organize in Lagos, aside that..KD ROCKS!!
Kaduna has lots n lots of hang-outs,as long as you get small change to spare, you can never have a dull moment in KD,very nice sweet spots that meets all your needs with little..I repeat..Little change...haba..na from experience I dey tell u so oh!!and coming from a guy who has grooved Lasgidi wella...I know wetin I dey talk.

As for Okpetu/Okpeke/Otepu/Babes levels...that is the tip of the iceberg, there are lots of SWEET SWEET gals in Croc city and you know the best thing, them no dey chop or demand like Lag babes...I would have touched more on the chikala aspect but I no wan incur their wrath, another note of warning..better keep your Girl/Fiancee in Lag close to your heart or else...KD babes go make you forget her oh!!!

Food: Since I came to the North,I go to the market(Sabo Market) with 5k and my kitchen gets filled to the brim with assorted that would last me for up to 6-7weeks,(except when those otepus come calling,na dem dey finish my food.

Transportation: Let me summarize, imagine a trip from Orile bus-stop to First gate(Festac) on a motorbike costing just 60/70 naira depending on your negotiation powers, just imagine..that's why I tell them here that anyone who "flies" bike in Lag is considered a big boi..coz e no cheap..compared to KD where people prefer motorbikes to buses.

Accommodation: It used to be very cheap until the upsurge of movement of people from Kaduna North to Kaduna South and even people migrating from other distressed Northern states, but even at that with 120k-150k you can get a very decent "Room n Parlour self contained" as it is popularly called here or even a 2-Bedroom flat in some areas like Goni-gora.

To cut short my tirade...Kaduna is a very safe place to live in and I never see wetin go make me leave this state yet.
Choi! Bros Ɣøµ hve said it all, na Ɣøµ try pass Croc city rocks
