Good day everyone,

I drive a KIA sportage 2009, late last year I had an overheating issue, on getting home I discovered the radiator fan was burnt, so I got a rewire to install a new radiator fan. Instead of installing it the way the previous one was installed, he connected it directly to the battery using a relay, when I questioned him, he insisted that there would be no issue with the wiring. Anyways since that day my vehicle started dying while in motion, especially when you're driving slow or about to climb a speed bump. Sometimes it comes back ON after it dies, sometimes it doesn't. I thought it was a battery issue and swapped in new battery, but nothing changed.
Please what could be the problem? As my mechanic has run out of ideas.

Go to another electrician and have them return the fan to the original wiring and remove the quark job done, that's a good place to start.

We tested with another ECU problem persisted.

The injector was serviced also.

Pls how is the compression test on the cylinder done?

You have to go to a certified workshop that has pressure gauge.

there is no vacuum leak , because this should have activated check light.

maybe i need to revert to 5w-20 , i changed to 20w-50 because of oil short after every 3000km

There is a threshold it has to reach before check engine is triggered. That it hasn't been triggered doesn't mean there is no leak.

I have been monitoring my corolla 2010 model fuelling lately.

My car have covered 249km with 27.3 liters of fuel.

Is this fuel efficient, if no.....pls what do i need to do to improve my fuel efficiency.

There is no visible sign of check light.

Check for a vacuum leak, if you can get someone with a smoke machine, if there is air leak allowing too much air into the engine, the ECU will try to add more fuel to balance the excess air in order to maintain the stoichiometric ratio. Also ensure you are using the right weight oil specific for your car as using heavier oils can impact your fuel efficiency.

Hello all.

My Es 350 check VSC light has been on for some time now.

Then when I am driving on high speed the yellow check light begins to blink and the car begins to idle roughly while driving.

The electrician diagnosed and the problem was coming from cylinder 4.

He interchanged the coil on cylinder 4 with that of another cylinder, fixed a new plug and serviced the nozzle but issue persisted when we test drive on high speed(same cylinder 4).

Then he say the next step is to check the brain box that likely the IC of cylinder 4 in the brainbox is bad.

So we will be testing out with another brainbox tomorrow.

Pls any suggestion regarding this.

Will the issue be most likely from the brainbox ?

It's not the ECU, if you changed the coil and the plug and the misfire persists on the same cylinder, before got touching your ECU, check the injector for the cylinder, if injector is fine, do compression test on the cylinder. If it doesn't have compression, the the cylinder walls, rings or valves have an issue.

Hello, please I need help with my car,

My car was flooded last year and it affected my gear. I took it to a gear specialist and it was fixed and started working.

Last month I noticed that when I am increasing my speed from 40 to 60, my car does not respond immediately. It drags or jerks.

I took it back to my mechanic and I was told there was issues switching from gear 2 to gear 3 and that it skips gear 3 and goes to gear 4.

What could be the cause of this and what next steps should I take.

Car Model - 2011 Camry
Gear - 22 pin

Find someone that has a good scanner and use live data to see the gear selection if it is verified.

The fluid might be compromised, so a transmission flush would not hurt and add lubegard Protectant Additive.

If you are still having the issue buy a friction modifier. Just a small tube and it will resolve shifting and shuddering issue with the car.

My 2006 Toyota Camry i4 has a shudder with the following characteristics:
1. Vibrations start at around 50m/hr or 80km/hr.
2. Happens only on light throttle.
3. It goes away if I let off the throttle or press Down and it shifts to a lower gear.
4. Only happens after 5th gear when the rpm drops below 2000.

My suspicion is a faulty torque converter for the following reasons:
1. If I turn off Over Drive, limiting the transmission to 4 gears it never vibrates.
2. I’ve dropped the pan, cleaned and actually flushed the transmission fluid with T-IV. And it made no difference; so I know it’s not a fluid issue.
3. My tires are new and balanced
4. Car runs smoothly at same speed it usually vibrates when I turn off OD.
5. My engine mounts and shafts are tight with no clucks when I engage drive or reverse.

Please gurus am I on the right track? Your contributions will be greatly appreciated! If I am on the right track, how do I know a good replacement TC?

If you are experiencing this issue call me I have a transmission additive that is guaranteed to stop the shudder you are experiencing.

I beg to differ, am not saying he should buy 1000 birds, he can safely manage 40 birds and using a feed mill he will make a healthy profit.

But the marketing part is universal! You must know how to sell them.

Unfortunately I have just started 3 months ago, I have two females and one male; will start breeding next year, still getting them to breeding weight.

You can run chicken parols:

Layers: Buy point of lay chics and feed for about a month and then start selling eggs when they start laying.
Broilers: Buy day old feed for 90days and sell the grown chicken.

Or Buy meat rabbits and rear faster production and growth rates, easy to manage.
All within your control.

The truths is that its mostly women that bleach here in Nigeria and they do it because they want to be more attractive to men as it seems men are more attracted to the ''yellow'' skin. Its not white not even close.

Nigeria is hard, trust me that's why your husband left in the first place and why he wants you to help him settle some place else.

That said, it better you forget the idea of staying at home, i don't know if you are white or black but with your accent, you could get a fantastic job in marketing or customer relations fairly easy.

You can build a life together here, but i hope your man got a job also? First time entrepreneurs don't do so well when starting something big when you haven't managed something small before.

Do your home work, Nigeria is a very free place, I've lived here all my life and all i ever want to do outside is to go sight seeing and come straight back. We have challenges, but with those challenges comes opportunities.

Yes the rabbits are the best meat available for man to eat. Highest protein level, lowest cholesterol, very lean white meat.
You should try to eat it soon.

You can check online for some recipes for rabbit meat.
