Only disadvantage is I can't use do high range passes because doing that involves involves swiping the key on the screen up and I can't swipe pad buttons

It works on my phone , works well with octopus and panda(they go hand to hand)

My main workhorse is currently a 2012 MBP, 16gb RAM with 500GB HDD, core i7 and I fly through tasks.

As a web developer, most of your work would be on the RAM and CPU. Your start up times might be slower than those with blazing SSD but you have the advantage of knowing in advance before your drive fails.

Most of your project files should be on GitHub anyway.

Irrespective of what people say, a genuine HDD is better than a chinko SSD.

I intend to upgrade to a 1tb genuine SSD but I have been slowing down because of the cost vs benefit. Why don't I just get another system, say a 2015 MBP.

a 2012 MBP is a workhorse.

Don't buy 2011. Run away from 2010. If they dash you, dash another person. It is not the same.

Don't buy a 2013 at the same price of a 2015 despite both being Retina. They are not the same.

Buy 2012 and 2013 at similar prices or just go for the 2014/2015.

Don't buy the 2016/2017 if you can avoid it. The keyboards fail.

Thing is if you are using xaomi , Samsung and even the three clowns you might not really notice difference much because they have their own skins

Though not much change again unlike the early stage.

You can't actually notice any massive change from those android version with 10 except you are using a Google pixel phone , that's why I had to install a pixel ROM on my redmi to see the difference

Yes ,I don't like MIUI so I had to remove it , I updated from android 11 to android 12 and I didn't notice any difference and my friend that was using a pixel phone , there was much difference so this time around I removed it so I can enjoy the full beauty of android 13

Vanilla anyday of the same , same way I was hyped to enter bootstrap only to leave after
