Awwww... Next time write whatever it is down and discuss with ur hubby when he's back from d rig. When he's offshore, he needs to concentrate, that job is very dangerous... And needs concentration.

Secondly siblings are siblings... Remember that. They must talk, they must gist and all that.
Ur DH was prolly really so pissed at his brother that he cldnt hold himself back he had to address the issue.

Thirdly stylishly draw d line... The siblings might have been looking for a way to come over and stay for a while and ur DH refused or gave excuses .. so them finding out ur mum is there raised some sort of jealousy... So those are things they shldnt even know.

Fourthly please no offense dear but its really childish to delete or block ur hubby... Next time focus on d positive things and try to think of the positive way out of any ish with him especially when he's offshore.

And pray without ceasing since dey didn't support u in d first place cos of whatever they are benefiting.... A PRAYERFUL WIFE IS A POWERFUL WIFE...

The good and ever merciful God will stay with you and your child, he will make childbirth easy for you and give you a gentle, healthy and non fussy child so that no one will have a reason to tight face for you.
As you go to Awka, let humility and patience be your watch word. Humility so that they wont have the justification to throw you out or make your life a living hell and patience to know that it is only a matter of time till you get back on your feet and continue your hustle.
Also dont forget to inform the man that impregnated you when you deliver. Let him know the sex and even give him a chance to name the child. In your anger or frustration dont deny your child his paternal identity. You are not doing those things for the man, you are doing it for your child.
I wish you the very best and I trust that you will come out of this stronger, smarter and better for it.

My madam was able 2 tok wt my fathers wife , wo after listenin 2 her acepted 2 acept me n hv asked me 2 com n stay wt dem while she looks after me n d baby d much she can.
So I ll b travellin 2 d east(awka) by nxt moro, 2 join dem n stay wt dem atlist 4 som months after delivery.
I want 2 thank u all 4 ur sugestions n contributions. U re all wonderful n I pray Non of ur own wil eva pass tru ds my Kind of suferin.

Cos you're almost due, and somethings must have been going on before now, DON'T RUN FROM YOUR PROBLEMS MA, PLS FIX IT. Your request is making me scared like you'll abandon this baby eventually and RUN! We're NIGERIANS KWA, WE KNOW HOW IT WORKS! like the other mamas has said; COME OUT AND ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS, LET'S KNOW THE TRUTH, THE GENUITY OF YOUR REQUEST WILL GUIDE US INTO HOW TO APPROACH THE SITUATION.

I will have serious issues recommending help to someone who cannot be open about the true state of things. People have come to this thread to say much more about themselves and they are not judged for it. Pls be more open, you might even get help on issues you didn't request help for. He that is down needs fear no fall.

Then again, I am also left wondering why you have no issues paying the nanny for her services even with you staying with her but finding it difficult to get a place to stay howbeit small. I initially thought it was a financial issue but this part got me totally confused.

there is something about your need dat doesn't feel right.I'm sorry to sound paranoid bt my aunt once got involved in helping someone in your situation and d woman abandoned d baby till dis day.if you can afford to hire a nanny and handle d expenses then I think you should be able to find a place no matter how small and manage yourself and the baby till you find a better option. Remain Blessed.

I've been fighting a battle with myself to just waka pass cos the Orekoya Nanny OLX situation has thoroughly demonised online childcare/homecare situation. That evil woman through her heinous act has closed the door on a lot of potentially great relationships.

If it had been prior to that, you'd have gotten a place in a snap but people are more cautious & wary this day... but an adage in my place says when we close our eyes to make sure our sight does not fall on bad people, when the good ones are walking by, we might miss them, so we will try and see a way to help as an e family...

Most likely its gonna be financial...

Do you have relatives near by?
Wouldn't it be "safer" to move in with one of them?
How about going to the village? I'm suggesting this beause my dad is poorly in health and my mum would not be able to come down to Lagos alone to do my omugwo so I'm traveling down to Imo state before my due date.

Lastly how about your local church? Have you asked anyone there?

If not that you are almost due nwannem id say come to Imo state with me! I've got loads of aunties waiting for me to arrive to tend to me and I'm certain 2 mums and 2 babies wouldn't be too much for them to care for! Seriously praying you find the help you need sister.

One more suggestion post your request in the ttc thread maybe one mama may take you in, hoping to use you as a point of contact to God? Remember that man in the bible that unknowingly took in angels and cuz of that his household was delivered ?

I hope my suggestions doesn't sound lame to you if not that I'm traveling soon I'll just invite you to my house at no charge.

Stadora I understand what you mean completely.I think if other mamas try to read between the lines they would understand as well.it is well.But I think you should look for a teaching job that has accommodation or better still nanny job.it could be easier that way.what you want is a tall order kinda though I understand and feel your pain
