I don't think nigerian artists deserve a Grammy but it's for a different reason though. My reason being that their lyrics are utilmately garbage. Most with nice lyrics have bad songs and most with bad lyrics have good songs. Infact it seems like nigeria is a big market for garbage lyrics.

It's also worthy of note that there are people in the US whose lyrics are inferior and even though they are big stars they haven't won any Grammy because of that an example is rick ross and no star in nigeria has a single song with lyrics that touches any of rick ross' song. This shows you how inferior our music has come to be.

They only way a nigerian would deserve a Grammy award is if they go back to the era of Fela, Osadebe and other legendary artists with reasonable song whose art form are almost completely dead in nigeria.

Many old buildings had dragon, bird, warrior, ancient deity and mythical creature statues on top of them or near the roofs.
Here are two examples, too bad I didn't have a proper zoom lens to zoom into the glorious dragons and warriors.
I travel light so I packed only my wide angle lens to take architecture and city square photos. I didn't know they had all those interesting statues on top of the buildings!

Everything here is very true. Medicine is the worst course anyone can study. Very stupid useless profession especially in Nigeria. Been waiting for this thread for so long, This medicine thing is Toxically overhyped, this goes to show that even our parents are not observant about changes in their communities if not they would advice their children against M&Surg or better send them to US or European med schools where their hard work will eventually pay off. I just got to know people who study in Nigerian med schools eventually soend more than the usual 6/7years some go as far as 11yrs because of the strikes and carryovers and after that the struggle for a place for the compulsory 12months housejob is not easy as u can keep searching for that for more than 1 year, some even have to bribe or devote their 1st 3months salaries to get a place to start internship and guess what they are being paid about 130k/mnth on an average, u can imagine the night calls and early punctual presence in the hospital with no days off, working under poor hospital conditions. Life as a Doctor especially young doctors fresh out off school in Nigeria is tormenting, And that 300k u talked about is for Senior Resident doctors only in Teaching hospitals, convert that to $ and imagine how can a married man buy the Range Rovers and go on Vacation with Family with that take home pay, There are so much irrelevant exams to climb up the rank hierarchy in Nigeria and they all have high failure rates with about 5% pass or even less so doctors now even resort to 50k 100k/mnth pay from private hospitals, if you've been following the news u would know about the massive brain drain On doctors in Nigeria and the thousands who can't just continue and just resign from service to go into business or smth else worth living for(Somebody cannot come and kee himself in this country)the few who leave Nigeria to better countries even take up semi skilled jobs like Taxi drivers in the Us and Canada and they live on that because it's better than being a fully employed doctor in Nigeria.
