I dont get why people are getting all emotional over this, its been confirmed that no such plans exists so why the unnecessary noise over this issue and like someone pointed out earlier, there are boko haram prisoners even in Enugu and we have never heard them make any noise over there, pls we should learn to read and understand before jumping into conclusion

This is exactly my problem with the whole biafra ish...there seems to be no laid out "plan" for it...all this fellow and his supporters scream is marginalisation and war but when we do get this biafra, what is the plan after that?

That's the question I'm sure a lot of people want to find out...where is your outlay for what this biafra will look like at least history suggests Ikemba and co had a well mapped out Plan back then but what the new generation seems to roll out each week is war, war, war.....I'm not sure those are the kinda persons I'd trust to pilot the affairs of our new country when we get it

My question becomes, what happens to we igbos who don't necessarily subscribe to the biafra movement for varioius reasons? Are we also going to be treated like our "enemies"? Are we also going to be called "saboteurs" as some here are already saying? Its easy to type about war from the comfort of our homes but the question is, Are u ready to take up arms when the time comes? What happens to our little kids in schools? Our nursing mothers? Our aged fathers who can barely walk? Our youths in universities all over the country striving to become someone in future? I'm not against biafra actually think it will be quite intriguing but things should be done the right way...What is the plan? How do we intend to preserve the interests of the minority groups from the south south that secedes with us? What form of government will this our biafra land take? These are just a few of the burning questions we should be asking ourselves...surely a referendum is the way to go but definetely not through violence i mean its not like the political elite in the east have fared any better than their counterparts in the west or north or even south with all its resources, every region is this country is being affected by the bad set of rulers we have been blessed with in this country.....War can and will never solve anything and FYI if a referendum is passed I'm of the opinion that a vast majority of igbos will vote NO not because we don't want to leave Nigeria but because "Igbo enweghi eze" True federalism should be what we should be advocating for at this point in time...UDO

I loved you first two "paragraphs" then you went and spoilt it with the third, are we saying ladies can't visit their male friends during the day again, at 19 she's probably a jambite or at home from school on break and decides to visit friends in the neighbourhood to while away time, I reall don't see anything wrong with that at all, we had female friends come to our houses in school then even at ungodly hours and our first instinct wasn't to rape them was it? Unless she knew the guys in question were bad influences and still kept them as friends then to a very tiny extent one should blame her but i honestly struggle to see any scenario here where this young girl was at fault to any extent whatsoever
