Came across this inspirational post by Dr. Napoleon Osasebe, a Nigerian Medical Doctor, Entrepreneur and Political Pundit on Facebook, and I think it calls for a reorientation of our values and mindset. He described the lifestyle of a Neanderthal and a Modern day African in a concise manner.

Life summary of a Modern day African.

1. Birth

2. Grow up (if you are lucky enough to escape child mortality)

3. Education (which in most cases at best is substandard)

4. Shelter (this is the second highest achievement of the modern day African man, a roof over his head!)

5. Marriage (this is the highest achievement of the modern day African man. It must be done otherwise the modern day African society will come after you. You are best qualified for this stage when you must have bought a car; made in the West or Asia of course! And a roof over your head. This is the African man’s best contribution to his society. When he does this he has fulfilled the purpose for his existence. What is science? what is technology? what is standard education? Those things don’t sound African. Where are they from?? Please let me marry like OTHERS have biko! And bear children!

6. Procreation (When God said “be fruitful and multiply” the African man took it to heart. To the African man there is only one way to be fruitful, procreate! This MUST be done because the vicious circle of poverty, disease, corruption, war etc must continue. The modern day African man prefers to bring in innocent souls resting in oblivion to a life of worries and anxiety. To the modern day African planing for posterity is stupidity.

He has shared the stage with Notable International Gospel Musicians like Don Moen, Donnie McClurkin, Kim Burell, Isreal Houghton, and Nigeria gospel stars like Chioma Jesus, Sinach, Sammie Okposo, Nathaniel Bassey and others

He personally thought Donnie McClurkin how to sing Oghene Doh.

Recently, he shared a Testimony of how his new car, a BMW was snatched by Armed Robbers, and was miraculously recovered.

However, it seems the true moral lesson to learn from that Testimony was hidden from many.

Many people didn’t that just before the incident happened, he gave out his luxury cars. In fact, he was car less before the new one came.

He posted about giving out his cars to His parents, who are most dear to him.

He wanted the Range Rover for his dad, and the Mercedes Benz SLS for his mum, but as the driver who was to take the cars to his parents was coming, there was a sudden twist to the story.

He remembered his supporter from day one, when he had nothing. The supporter has been forever loyal to him, to the extent that he remains his drummer up to this day.

He remembered him for Good, and surprised him with the Key to his Range Rover Sport.

Just as the driver was about driving this car to my Dad GOD just reminded me of someone who abandoned his music career 5 years ago to work with me as a manager & assistant.. And has put in so much effort serving , many people mocked him saying “why are you working for this small boy” but he put in even more effort! Well now you have seen what small boys do. Today ezzy is happily married and got a beautiful life going , service pays , diligence is power! So I decided to let him have this and get something new for papa! That’s the way JEHOVAH wants it done.

Davido's cousin bred has revealed on his Snapchat handle, that the Whole HKN team will be travelling to their American home in Atlanta Georgia, for a vacation and we don't hope they will come back soon.

Davido who just concluded the video shoot of Osinachi remix, which was done in a typical igbo village setting, posted few adorable pictures of him and baby Imade with different captions of someone that is sure gonna miss someone dear to him.

It could be recalled that there was a controversy over Davido trying to take his love child away from his Babymama.

Sources coming from the Momodu's family revealed then that their were secret plans of relocating the baby to America, but it seems that's not gonna happen no more.

Yesterday was Wednesday, and I believe many Nigerian guys, used Laura Ikeji’s picture as their WCM – Woman Crush Wednesday.

We had the rare opportunity of grabbing Laura Ikeji’s looks without the heavy make-up she normally wears.

The celebrity blogger’s Sister, who is a Fashion blogger, Ford PR and a brand ambassador for Misskay boutique.

Laura who seems to be the ‘Twitter’ behind major happennings in their Banana Island Mansion, and in a sizzling romance with Mc Galaxy, shared an Instavideo of her looking all natural, and we screen grabbed it.

Man! I really dn't like connecting issues with people, but this is my last word to you.
I have told you earlier that the post is from the archives, then I have not started blogging myself then.
A founder of a blog, called Haba Naija.. I dunno If it still functions, organized a contest which was centered on thus exact topic. That's the topic he gave us to write an article about.
I made that post when I was still new to the internet, and the Nokia C1 which I was using then wasn't good at formatting posts to be published.
But I went ahead to submit it, seeing that am getting few hours to the deadline.
The organiser ended up not paying our 20k.
After I started blogging, I was going through my oldails and stumbled on this. I copied it and pasted here sane on my blog, at least to garner traffic for myself.
I think you should reserve your opinion for yourself, am OK with the way my blog looks now.

First of all, I’ll like to point out that the reason why bloggers don’t make money from their blog, is not because they don’t want to, but because they don’t know how to turn ideas into profits.
The ability of turning ideas into profits, is the key to true fulfillment.
According to Wikipedia, A blog is a discussion or an informational site published on the world-wide web and consisting of discrete entries (“posts”) typically displaced in reverse chronological order. We have some blog hosting platforms, they include Blogger, TypePad, WordPress e.t.c. There are so many blogs managed by individuals, hosted on these blogging platforms.

Some of the blogs attracts thousands of views daily. but sadly, most of these bloggers have not spared time to think deep and see the big picture of how their blogs can be a good source of income. Permit me to term the bloggers that doesn’t see beyond burning feeds into his/her blog from other websites a lazy blogger.
For your blog to standout and be a site that attracts huge traffic daily, it has to be unique in some ramifications. This is why i quite appreciate Starttells, most of the articles they post, I’ve not been able to see it on some other websites. Now it takes a unique blog to attract a decent traffic. You are yet to earn a kobo from selling Ads Space, cox your blog is yet to attract that traffic that makes an advert on your site appreciated.
It’s also recommended, for a blogger to find some advertising platforms, like the Google Adsense, Yahoo! Publisher Network, Clicksor e.t.c. Most bloggers don’t earn a kobo from their blogs as a result of the
kind of Web template they had, programmed in their blogs.
You will agree with me that nobody will like to spend time viewing a dull website, or a website with too much animations. Your blog template, has to be appealing and attractive to the general public, before a reasonable profit can come out of it. You have to find an experienced website designer, to construct a nice template. We bloggers don’t make money from our blogs, because we have not discovered the need of affiliate marketing.
Affiliate marketing is a very popular practice on the internet. It involves selling over people’s products for them and earning a commission on each sale. In order to find suitable affiliate programs, you can turn to individual companies and publishers like Dreamhost and SEOBook or affiliate market places and networks.

something original.
This is one of the problems we are facing in the blogosphere. Don’t just make Ctrl-c and Ctrl-v your best friend, post something unique. When using a Blog service that offer free hosting such as Blogger, should not be your middle name.
Inasmuch as they offer a decent platform and an excellent value, they are not flexible enough to install the plugins, themes, and other extensions you truly desire. With just $15, you can buy a domain name and
credibility. Some blogger didn’t set out a goal for their blog. I wonder what will be their driving force. The blogger that fails to plan, plans to fail.
Blogger should also have a social presence, like running a Facebook and Twitter Page. They should not put too much time on Social mediums otherwise, their blogs will be at stake. Bloggers that twists the truth to uphold their selfish beliefs and those that neglects the readers opinion, won’t last. When your blog loads too slow, keeps buffering, a visitor after 15 secs countdown will be like “am outta here!”. There is need for you to optimize.
Bloggers should avoid errors, verify your posts before uploading, make sure your articles are not flawed, boring and sucks at making sense. I don’t need to ring it to your ears, that when you stop blogging for a period of time or even daily, your blog is approaching its near end. Not interacting with fellow bloggers or not having a blogging mentor, won’t earn you much. Money works with partnership and connections. Selling Ebooks also pays.
If i am to continue on this topic, my article will be too long that one might easily forget some things i pointed out at the beginning of my post. There are many ways by which a blogger, can earn cool money
online with his/her blog. Sadly, most bloggers, readers including me have not realized that. It was after my research that i just found out the huge opportunities, that abounds in blogging. I hope my post will
go a long way to create an awareness to the general public and possibly be useful in fighting some problems Nigeria has today. Oh! I can’t wait to start blogging.
