I will use common sense to answer you. As a 100 level student,are you qualified to be inducted as a chemical engineer or as a chemical engineering student? Was this certificate issued by the body itself or your departmental exco just gave you cos they are fond of that. If it was issued by the body,they should attest to that effect by way of a written letter. If it was your Dept then,I think they should do same but I still wonder how a student of 100 level will be inducted as a chemical engineer. This is my little contribution and I believe others can help as well. I wish you all the best bro. Next time,avoid documents that will shoot you on ur foot.

I got this responds from Immigration after 3months of my Application. The Certificate of Induction which was said to be not Genuine or seen as a fake document was issued during my 100 level Departmental Induction which is being organised by the Department student Association. The Certificate of Induction and the Immigration Mail is shown below.

I think you will still have to try because its a technical issue. If you have someone in Germany that can pay on ur behalf while you credit the person's account here,that's fine. All you have to do is send the payment confirmation to uniassist and it will reflect within 2 working days.

Put the old applicant's number so that they will link it to this new portal and your old number will now be showing after the update. Also,if it is not up to 1 year that you sent certified copies to them,don't bother sending again because they still have them and you can not view them on ur own in this new site. I hope this info helps.

I opened uni assist last year, I got applicant number and I uploaded some files. Now the site has changed, I am putting my old login details but it's invalid. I opened new one now, I came across putting an applicant number, should I put the old applicant number or should I forget about it.

Its a technical issue from them though it becomes normal after a while. Are you trying to view existing application?

What did you study?are you going for masters or bachelor? What do you intend to study? If you are envisaging winter 2020 start,you just have to relax though some winter applications open DEC but depends on ur course and school. I think others will still contribute to this. Your friend should worry less cos the reason he was denied is clear and he has the solution with him already. He should gather every necessary proof and appeal immediately. We have people here whom were denied b4 but got their visa after appealing. I believe they will guide him on how to go about that. All the best.

Please just a quick question urgent assistant and attention is needed please. A friend just got a rejection letter from the embassy now, his interview went quite well, blocked before his interview. The rejection letter states that his enrolment deadline which is stated for 4th of October is past hence the visa denial.
However, he has enrolled fully at the school he got his enrolment documents yesterday from the school and his school grants resumption up till next year March
Now that he already has the enrolment certificate please house how do you suggest he tackles this right away because his school still permits him to come up till next year March and he is already fully enrolled with his certificate and matriculation number.

Please what should he do, should he resend an appeal with all supporting documents and all his original documents alongside his passport and previous health insurance he submitted?
Please gurus in the house help out.

Certainly there are factors you must consider so as to be at an advantageous point. Are you looking at courses related to your work experience considering the number of years or you still want to continue with computer science? You will have to put up a good SOP in whatever part you are taking. I will advise you look into AL 1 schools though their fees are much but it helps a lot. Another factor is your home tie. You said you are a matured applicant and same time a single though I don't know the age bracket you fall into. All the same,you will still have to put up a good GTE statement to convince the visa officer that you are genuine and not looking for means to exit this great country. On the issue of sponsorship,your best bet will be parents or siblings. Don't forget that when you get admission to AL 1 school, it is optional for the visa officer to request for bank statement though its important you have it handy cos they might request for it. Did you have any English test result? My little contribution and I believe others here can drop their input. I wish you all the best.

Both countries are good but the issue of finance and visa success rate will play a vital role. If the person is financially stable in terms of sponsorship where he or she will be required to present a fat bank statement and the right sponsor like spouse or parents,the person should consider Canada. If the person can only raise the block account money where he or she will not be under obligation to present a bank statement showing the funds and study in little or no cost which will be in the form of semester fees,he or she should choose Germany because the visa success rate is high and you are entitled to a post study visa of 18 months I think. My little input on this.

That brings me to this, u can Choose to run around Norway and Canada that is not really giving hope at the moment or prepare for ur next launch on Germany. Winter interviews ends October except for full scholarship applicants, Summer resumes November. I know couple of guys that are already plotting around to join the movement very early it begins, one has gotten 2 Summer approvals already from his winter courses he deferred.
Brother what am saying in essence is if u think u can't meet up Winter, Summer is here. Take up the responsibility early and be in the front run. U can do interview November and get AM December, my guy got his Summer visa approval in December last year, he missed the previous winter. What stops u from researching around and apply tactics this time and believe God's grace to see u through. Being in Cat B won't affect u much if u are among early lead. My sister Sassy92 and many more are already gearing up for Summer, now she's doing German language preparing herself to have that edge, that is the spirit of the race bro. Or should I talk about my two bros here that I learned patience from, Eldeee and dailydolars these two have been running this race for about 3 years now, d have done interview several times and gotten a good response but couldn't meet up, yet d are not daunted, d are on it even as I write this, one have done interview this winter and the other is preparing to revisit the same embassy come August. This is what we call "Running the race", so let not ur heart frail and u now feel u are alone or ur endurance has been tried the most, No, many, even some ghost readers could have worser experiences but won't give up.

I won't forget when Eldeee encouraged me not to see one year as it won't come, that is already around the corner, we should start gearing up with our preparations, and this was around October last year that we didn't meet up. Mehn, I died inside anytime I want to think of having to wait for another year, now is over. Is over because I took his advise to hustle immediately for my BA as though it was to be needed in a month time and start researching already for my programs. By January this year, I have already dispatched some documents to some schools for this winter, then the rest, 1st April. Now everything is a concluded episode with my Visa staring at me on page 5 of my passport booklet

Please take note that Summer applications would be challenging as well with this new Category rules, meaning the applicants in Category B will triple.

I arrived the embassy at 5.50am and met about 5 persons already waiting.

At 6.00am, the security man at the gate asked us to go to the car park and return at 6.30am, obviously because he didn't want any lashing from Mr. Paulinus. But when he noticed that nobody was ready to do his bidding, he asked us to moved away from the entrance and stay by the waste bin. We waited till 6.30 filing out in a queue and Mr. Paulinus started his display immediately. He is everything we have heard here and more!

To the business of the day proper..............I was interviewed by the calm dark lady in room 2.

VO: Can I have your passport and interview letter?
Me: Sure ma'am (and I quickly passed it to her with trembling hands)
VO: What visa are you here for?

UK and USA are expensive and Germany is offering me same quality education at little or no cost

Hello, house am new here. A friend of mine who got admission for MSc since April and applied for AD around may( Got AD august). He got a job paying around 500k recently, so he is no longer interested in the Msc. Is it possible for him to be given visa with just statement of account, he is just interested in getting the visa but is not travelling and also not blocking any account. Also any hope for Cat B guys, I got AL for bacelor degree into rhine waal last week, I have an HND certificate.

I don't think there is any issue with that cos it is always good to be on the path of truth. You might be asked during interview if you've applied for German visa b4 or a Schenghen visa which you will answer. Also,don't forget that every visa application is treated in it own merit so just go ahead and do your best. All the best bro.

Guys please during interview, if the vo asks if u have a siblings in Germany and I answer yes cos that was the reason I applied for a Schengen visa last year for holiday and was declined, hope it won't affect my chances of getting this student visa. Please advice me if you can oh, am just disturbed a bit.

Talking about deferment in July is still very early. There is still enough time and dates might still be available. Also, school starting September or October doesn't mean you must be in Germany on the said date. My school started October but I arrived Germany in November. Some of my friends arrived December and few January.

I will advise people to enroll online if your school allows that. Even if they don't, plead to be allowed for online enrollment. Once you're enrolled, you'll have access to course materials online and you can study from Nigeria. Also, embassy will come out with another strategy of who passed his or her enrollment deadline. Once, you're enrolled you're already a student and embassy can issue you visa anytime and you won't be caught up by the pressure of enrollment deadline.

For those asking about using form A to transfer to BA, yes it’s possible. It worked for me. All you need to do is to get a letter from your school indicating that the money is for your living expenses for one year in Germany. They should state Your full name and the required amount (€8640). I used zenithbank

Interview transcript
Arrived at the embassy by 5:40am ,decided to chill and relax till 6:30am, at least I know say I come quick. Guys at the park quickly rush me for business, but unfortunately na bad market i be, Lol.

Met Mr paulinus at his usual routine, almost took the urine out of one guy after shouting at him. I just pity the guy and gave him signals to calm down. Me I dey ready for am, so no shaking.

Was ushered in for security checks, and was asked to wait at the seats close to the security checks, neither did I knew they arranged a VIP visa interview for me, Lol. I signalled the security guards that am still waiting and others are being sent inside the consulate building. But he said I should wait when it's time I will be ushered in.

It was time, I was given signal to go in. I met a calm looking lady at the visa room one, she was not smiling ooo, but I have to force smile out of her face after my interview.

My questions were more of personal questions as she noticed I have been there before now. No much hassles. But was just making emphasis on me funding on time.

The questions goes thus

What are you going for, msc or bsc?
Which school and what course
What is your bsc course, and what year did you graduate
What have you been doing
What's the relationship between your bsc and your proposed masters
Are you married?
Your bsc thesis?

All personal questions like I earlier mentioned. Even if you wake me up ten times, I go tell you without stress.

The only question that doesn't relate to me is this

Tell me what you know about Germany, na she even stop me cos talk go plenty.
What are you going to do after studying?

That's all for now. She now asked any question for me. I was like shebi you no want laugh abi, you go laugh by force. Now I asked her what does the embassy have for me, she was like what do you mean, I told her on a lighter note, my birthday is coming up three days from now so I asked again what does the embassy have for me, any gifts or surprise package, she have to force out laughter from her face unknowingly and said I should please go as I have no serious question for her.
