ATMC: he said it on the first day and on his profile...but outside dt i liked him more after his diary section, he seems intelligent
Yeah, I agree. I guess I just judged him initially based on his looks. And like I already said, there's more to bba(and life generally) than looks, its just that Physical looks give a kind of instant likeness before discovering the person's attitude and intelligence.

Reminds me of manetta of bba7, very good looking girl with an attitude that sucks.

ATMC: but seriously d denzel guy is cute when his mouth is shut...opening it reveals his teeth and dt makes him look ugly. I look forward to seeing angelo display...he's a dance instructor
Interesting! I thought angelo was a professional 'massager' o. He made those girls feel good yesterday with his hands.

ItsModella: so you sef dey watch BBA? grin grin

Beverly needs to bring down her rambunctiousness a notch. She talks without really thinking of the consequences and that will work against her favor.

Beverly no fine sha o.
Ahnahn, beverly is okay na (facially, cos I have never really digged her i-want-to-always-be-the-center-of-attention attitude), she just found herself among prettier girls..I don't like her choice of weave colour though.

I thought melvin would be the cutest dude in the house until I discovered hakeem and my oneal...hu la la
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by StateOfMind: 1:07pm On May 29, 2013
safarigirl: lol, was wonder what was going on between em, weird.

If I was in the house I'd love to cream Hakeem or Melvin wink
They are good friends and I think beverly sees bassey more as a female than a dude..hoho.. I like bassey a lot, so familiar with naija songs and dance and always promoting our artists. Beverly likes the naija in him too..I just don't like his face, he reminds me of teebag.

I'm beginning to crush on oneal..there's just sth about the dude...*scratches head*

I know most guys like dellish's pretty face, but bba aint about beauty. I'm not feeling her in that house yet.

Is it me or does any other person think diamond house isn't as fine as ruby? Its usually rough, choked up and not spacious.

Ruby on the other hand is fine and very spacious.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by StateOfMind: 7:39am On May 29, 2013
In diamond house last night, the dudes took time to massage their ladies.
Feza n mottama were massaged by angelo
Dellish was massaged by elikam
Annabel was massaged by bolt

Elikam showed interest in sleeping with feza on her bed downstairs due to the heat upstairs, but feza refused. She said she doesn't want people to start having funny thoughts and that her son was watching. Elikem tried to use reverse psychology on her. He kept on saying 'you are chasing me in front of africa.., you are disowning your best friend...you don't love me anymore...don't worry, I'll be fine, if you want me out of your bed, I'll leave' and yet he dint leave o. Lol..he refused to give feza a good night hug..bla bla... Elikam seems to be taking the nomination to heart a lot. I wish he could just take it off his mind and do his thing.

Cleo and oneal seem to be bonding, they spent most part of last night together, talking about each other and the game in general, but they did not gossip. Cleo said she thinks biggie chose well this season and oneal agreed. She said she thinks all of them have strong personalities. I'm so liking their connection. I like oneal..he's a neat dude.

Hakeem and koketso (SA chic) on the other hand spent last night together, gossiping about some of their housemates and talking about the possibility of finding love in the house cos most of the girls claim to have a relationship outside the house. Talked about sm1's tasteless rice..bla bla

Maria and natasha had a little clash last night too. Natasha can talk..gosh! She beats beverly hands down. She talks non-stop, nags, feels like she's the realest being in the house. Jeeez. They made peace with each other after like 30minutes of back and forth.

Most of these housemates are trying to hard to prove they are real, they should just chill and just have fun. Everyone is trying to bring down the other as fake while claiming they are real..*phew*..do your thing and let africa be the judge.

Btw, I got to know more single parents yesterday. I knew of pokello and hakeem's kids before.

Nyil, feza, cleo, fatima, oneal are single parents too.

safarigirl: once the gurls in diamond house see the hotties in Ruby, Denzel, Elikam and Bolt go turn past tense

Hakeem the dream
Melvin the lips
And O'neal Mr.Cool go cause comotion
Remove elikam from the past tense list na..he's cute joo..

Biguesa or whatever hardly talks...he has a pretty face though.

I love oneal's eyeballz..except for sulu, ruby guys rock!

THE AMAKA: I mean judging her based on her weight and saying Hakeem cant or shouldn't like her simply because of that. Doesn't everyone have a friend or at least a family member that is overweight/big? its like saying all heavy people should just get what they can take and that they can't have the "good looking" ones. Not everyone can be Tyra Banks
I don't think the reactions have to do with natasha's size\looks. Jessica (bba7) , confidence, lerato and emma are quite big too and they found love\lust in the bba house.

To me, Natasha looks more like a mama than a typical BBA female house-mate and comes across as someone who would not be interested in romance.

If hakeem is attracted to her, good for him, he gets to enjoy more of her delicious meals..lol
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by StateOfMind: 6:47pm On May 28, 2013
THE AMAKA: It ain't about looks. Its not everyone in the world that can be tall, slim, curvaceous, or whatever. Its about time we stop being so judgemental when most of "us" (us as in a collective group) aren't even better than them.
If Hakeem likes bigger women then that's what he likes, I don't think people should call Natasha names. After all, did she force him to kiss her? He is the one that leaned in and locked lips with her. He also told Biggie he has a soft spot for her. Natasha brought some entertainment in her towel and hair brush and I seriously laughed. Its not always about looks, personality and the heart is what really counts.
Hahaha...interesting! I would never have thought hakeem would be 'attracted' to natasha.. Different strokes cheesy .

About people being judgemental, I think that's what bba is about for the viewers..to view, analyse and judge..

I still love my hakeem though. cheesy

ItsModella: I heard one of the housemates say underwear day.

Beverly gave her reason for replacing Bassey with Natasha. She said Natasha is always feeling sick and that leaves others to check on her. Because of that, they can't have fun. Also Natasha claimed to have asthma and Beverly feels like she shouldn't be in the game with such a condition because asthma is not something to be joked with.
Ok, cool, thanks. Just got home and on tuning in I saw mrs natasha in a very old annoying lace, like a 1999 lace and I'm like wth? That woman isn't supposed to be on this show jare.

Beverly looks good today.

@amaka, I noticed feza's attraction to elikam too since the first day. I think its mutual though. Elikam seems to be all over her too.

After watching Beverly's diary section a few minutes ago, I'm liking her even more. The babe can chat for the whole of Africa but she still makes sense.

Tomorrow is underwear day cheesy cheesy...hahaha!! I can't wait.
Aww, too bad I'm not home at the moment. I have missed one of my favourite moments of bba -diaries section.

THE AMAKA: Lol. Lk4 and Hakeem from Zimbabwe too. Lol
Beverly actually looks like the average cute Ugandan girl so i'm not surprised that LK4 is attracted to her.

And you're right. BBA7 was completely dead after the 5 Weeks roughly.
Honestly Zainab would have been the winner had she not argued and gotten slapped by DKB... Still hilarious. Lmaoo cheesy
I agree zainab would have won, if she had not peeped to see mr dkb's joystick. Hoho..very naughty girl.

The ruby (red, housing the nigerians) house is my favourite house for now. I love to watch hakeem talk and laugh..lol

They have the gist and everything to those complaining about live streams.....
As for huddah I heard she even asked denzel for permission to fart while he was massaging her.....why nahuhmscheeew..jus because the babe fine somehow doesn't mean she should be acting like she's the best thing since sliced bread.....I don't like her....
Thought denzel was a cutie but you guys are killing him for me....he can't be that annoying...can he? I mean, last year's wati was the worst...and a drunk....
Zambia's guy rep....chi m.....Kai!!! See razz bush man....
Guy from SA with the dreads freaks me out....looks like he harvests Ganga...
Beverly and her mouth sha....keep talking like you are a millionaire and people will start thinking you don't need the money sef ....how did she manage to win the first HOH task sef? Must be juju....anyways hope her all the best...
Melvin seems cool....
Alos, if you repeat denzel is cute again ehn, lol.
The HOH task was just luck, the housemates chose a ball each randomly and the person with a different ball colour was crowned hoh.

Angelo frm SA freaks me out too. I hope he maintains that sponge on his head cos I can't imagine how bad it would smell if its badly maintained.

I find elikam from ghana really cute too..

ayobase: Talk for yourself!
But you know u aint supposed to compare some games with BBA!

As far as I'm concerned, u didn't watch BBA if only what u watch is highlight!

Its just like watching the highlight of a match.....that's called "sense of belonging"
So its until I watch it for 24 hours that I can say I watch bba? Lol..I am a proud 'watcher' of bba. Yes, all the seasons! I watch it anytime I feel like on the bba channel and watch highlights to cover up for the interesting parts missed during the day.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by StateOfMind: 6:48am On May 28, 2013
THE AMAKA: I subsequently didn't watch BBA7 past the third week mark for various reasons. The exit of Chris and Ola left little drive in me to continue to watch the show. The nominations were random and took away the "backstabbing" part of the show where people got to nominate fellow housemates and not some random lottery ball.
Also the fact that the THREE housemates with the lowest votes were immediately sent home and only one into the Upville house was completely stupid. The dynamic of the show last season was TERRIBLE and left me with no interest to watch.

So with that being said, I'm confused on how nominations work this time around. From Season 6 (Amplified) they traded off houses every other week in terms of nomination and eviction. But this season they seem to be doing nominations and evictions simultaneously from each house. It's actually very confusing.

Now I guess it doesn't matter what I said a few comments ago about the dilemma of both Nigerian reps being in the same house cause as it appears, it really doesn't matter. If Selly and Elikem could both be up for eviction and not in the same house, it really doesn't mean jack!

Ok so two years ago I'd do my predictions on how I believed each country would vote. And I will say I had roughly an 80% accuracy wink
Random nominations, voluntary exits and disqualification killed bba7. so many mumu downvillers that would have been long gone got to the merging stage.

For now, I think this year's twist will be the swapping of 2housemate's after the friday arena games. According to ik, the 2 houses will compete with each other during the arena games and the HOH of the winning team would have the privilege of swapping two of her housemates for 2 from the other house.

I think Lk4 is attracted to our beverly btw..hehe
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by StateOfMind:
ItsModella: Denzel is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring...can he get out of the house already? and the dude is totally gay, did you see the way he was massaging that girl, can't remember her name, yesterday morning? he was acting like a complete efftard.

That Sulu guy needs to stop acting drunk, wallahi!! I can't even watch him.

And I agree with Amaka, the hate on Beverly needs to stop abeg. If anything, Melvin is the one acting like a complete gbollo, but nobody is hating on him.
LOL, I saw him massage the girl too grinding his teeth and looking r-eetarded, I think it was huddah. Never liked him from the stage.

About beverly, you know we nigerians are generally judgemental and then, we tend to be harsher on our female representatives(which shouldn't be). As for me, I don't hate beverly, I'm not just digging her for now. I'm actually indifferent about melvin for now too, he's just someone I have always liked since I watched GUS.

When 6 of them sat in circles in ruby house talking about themselves, beverly's introductory speech was that her mum is a multi millionaire *rolls eyes* and she talked about completing her SS3 in a school in lagos where the tution is 1.3million. she said a whole lot of unnecessary things jare.
TV/MoviesRe: What Do You Benefit From Watching The Big Brother Africa Show? by StateOfMind: 10:58pm On May 27, 2013
ayobase: Besides, one wouldn't watch every match...there are options!

Besides, 380 games in premier league will take 380x2hrs=760hrs making it just 32days to watch all the matches, and you are gonna have time to do some other important things without even missing a match!

Is my calculation right?
Na wa o. So for your mind now, everyone who watches bba remains glued to the tv all day without doing something else?..funny. No1 can be that jobless..

For bba, you get to watch it anytime you feel like for the next three months.

Btw, I wonder those who watch the show o because almost everybody here is claiming too busy and too holy to watch it. When I went to dstv office to request for bba channel, the queue I met was a verrrryyyyyy long one, young and old, jobless and jobful. I even saw some 'responsible' looking daddies and was wondering why they were on the same queue with me the 'irresponsible one'.
TV/MoviesRe: What Do You Benefit From Watching The Big Brother Africa Show? by StateOfMind: 10:45pm On May 27, 2013
ayobase: Two different things!
One you will know the final before the end of 3hrs, that include extra time and penalty kicks!

And the other, the winner is gonna be after 90DAYS for God's sake!

A wife can still cope with Man U fan as husband, but a man coping with BBA fan as wife na DIE o!
Chiil abeg. The fact that the show is running 24-7 does not mean you should watch it 24-7 too. Haba, even the most jobless person will not watch bba that way. The highlight is what most people watch which is just an hour.

And no, they are not different, they both are for entertainment. No one should dictate anyone's preference for entertainment.

What about those that play PS3 and other games for hours? Do they gain anything? Its all about preferences.
