Hei..eveva..take it easy on this mission, I hope biggie give these new housemates limits. The fact that they are not contending for the money doesn't mean they should overdo their misbehaviour .

Lmao @ "watch out for oneal, he's gonna ask the hardest questions"

Breaking News: Say hello to the Eme
ralds!
The Chasemates are sweating and
regretting for ever thinking the Eme
rald House was a hoax! Tonight's
Party is a bit of a twister as the Chas
emates partied with strangers sepa
rated by the glass wall.
Well, at least Africa is in the know
and just so you are kept on the loop;
we present to you the fake Emerald
Housemates:
Kenya's Alusa hails from the capital
Nairobi. The 32 year old boasts of a
diploma in communication and is an
actor and radio director. Alusa finds
Pokello’s boisterous nature very
attractive. “She’s got this ‘I don’t
care attitude’ and I like that,” he says
with a broad smile. Should Elikem
be scared? He says he also admires
his namesake Melvin for merely that
reason. Alusa’s first name is Melvin.
Asked how he will act around his
favourite Housemates, Alusa says “I
will pretend, pretend, pretend. I
have so much information on them
so I know which buttons to press.”
1) What is your strategy in keeping
to the mission given by Big Brot
her?
I want to have lots of fun but I’ll also
keep focused because this is a very
important mission.
2) What will be chasing after the
BBA experience? This is a big platf
orm so I will take the opportunity to
revive some of my projects that I
had stalled.
24 year old Busi is a 3rd Year BA
Marketing Communication student
from Johannesburg. She a Gemini
and those who know her well call
her Busi K.
Her short temper and OCD around
hygiene will definitely rub some
Chasemates the wrong way especiall
y because she genuinely thinks the
Emeralds are better Housemates
than the Chasemates. Ouch! I don’t
like Pokello and that pink lipstick of
hers. She says she’s the queen of
swag, I am the KING of swag”, she
bragged. Ï don’t like Feza, Selly
andBeverly too”, she adds. Can som
ebody spell D.R.A.M.A. Well, it’s not
all gloomy as the South African styli
st does like Dillish and Natasha but
she’s not sure how she’ll act towards
her favourites. “I don’t want to sell
you a dream. I am planning on going
in as if I don’t know them though”.
1) What is your strategy in keeping
to the mission given by Big Brot
her?
Showcase who Busi is. I want to go
in with a business mind, and hop
efully get endorsements after this. I
will change outfits 2 or 3 times a day.
I think as a House we need to KILL
IT! We will be like a new pair of jean
s!
2) Will you act differently in the
House towards them?
I wouldn’t know till I’m in there hey.
3) Is there someone you are inte
rested in chasing in the House?
None of the guys. I’m here for busi
ness and outside of BBA I have a life
and I don’t want it to be tainted. I
also have a boyfriend.
4)What will be chasing after the
BBA experience?
I would love to partner with brands
– endorsements. I want to travel and
I’m open to different cultures.
Zambian Eveva is a Massage ther
apist who runs her own Massage
parlour at just age 26. She's from
Chipata and just like Busi, she too is
very short tempered and has a feeli
ng that she will not get along with
Pokello. “I know how to control my
temper and I know how the Housem
ates are so I’ll be guarded,” she pro
mises. She’s got a thing for Angelo
and Elikem whom she says she’ll like
to get to know without giving the
game away. Mhmm! Well finds the
Chasemates boring because “they
are playing the game too carefully
and are being safe”. She adds that
they aren’t too creative either. Looks
like we’re in for a big surprise here.
1) What is your strategy in keeping
to the mission given by Big Brot
her?
My strategy is to be myself and sho
wcase what I have. I want to do me.
2) What will be chasing after the
BBA experience?
I want Africa to know me, and my
craft. I will chase after being a musi
cian and experiencing different cult
ures in the House.
Jazz the 26 year old copy writer fro
m Nairobi, Kenya is a creative wor
king for a prestigious advertising
agency. She is also an actress and
entertainer. She too says she thinks
she won’t get along with Pokello,
Beverly and Feza citing gossip as her
reason for not standing the latter.
Natasha, Sulu and Nando are in her
good books but she says she will act
as if she’s got amnesia once in the
House and keep her mind open.
1) What is your strategy in keeping
to the mission given by Big Brot
her?
My strategy is for the Emerald Hou
semates to KILL IT! We must be soo
amazing that the other Housemates
are shocked and surprised. I believe
we should mirror their reactions
and feed off of their reaction. We
need to shine and be close as an Eme
rald unit.
2) Is there someone you are inte
rested in chasing in the House?
They’re all hot! I want to have fun
with whoever is willing to have fun!
3) What will be chasing after the
BBA experience?
I want whatever the world has to
offer. I want to use this as an opp
ortunity to showcase my talent.
The multi-talented JJ from Zimbab
we is a singer, songwriter, actor, dire
ctor and entertainer 22 from Harare
and unfortunately this eye candy is
taken. JJ is focused on his goals and
strategy right now and after the BBA
experience, he hopes to go into mov
ies and to make a difference in the
world. “One thing I’m passionate
about is teaching people how to fend
for themselves in my country; how
to best use the environment to serve
you,” he explained.
1) What is your strategy in keeping
to the mission given by Big Brot
her?
My strategy is to confuse people. I
will feed off their reactions and use
reverse psychology.
I don’t mind anyone in the House,
and I’m going in with an open mind.
2) What do you think will be your
biggest weakness?
What is my kryptonite if I was supe
rman? Love. I don’t want to be distr
acted by a relationship.
22 year old Sofi from Uganda is a
freelance fashion designer currently
focusing on jewellery. She has a
shop that she co-owns called Toky
o35, in Kampala.
Sofi entered BBA because she thinks
it’s the perfect job. She can just wak
e up, eat and sleep and relax all day.
1) What is your strategy in keeping
to the mission given by Big Brot
her?
I will act surprised to see the Hou
semates. We will stick together as
the Emerald House and I will show
off my perspective on clothing.
2) What do you think will be your
biggest weakness?
Living with people from different
cultures and backgrounds. Pokello
will be my weakness. She is such an
angry person.
3) Who is your favourite Housem
ate so far?
I like Sulu. I also like Cleo because
she is calm. Also because she is Zam
bian.
4) Will you act differently in the
House towards them?
No.
5) Is there someone you are inte
rested in chasing in the House?
Melvin is very cute, but he’s quiet…
6) What will be chasing after the
BBA experience?
I want to build my brand. I’m going
to use this as a stepping stone.
Now that we know who the Emerald
Housemates are, it’s time to sit back,
relax and watch as the drama unfo
lds. Stay tuned for the Live Eviction
Show on Sunday 14 July to find out
about Big Brother’s mission for the
Emeralds.
Chase is on!!

I hope someone comes up with a better one with their pictures..

@amaka, got it from the big brother forum.

I just read the profiles of the emerald housemates, their strategies, favourite housemates and the likes. Are these peeps gon be involved in the merging as housemates too?

Someone can help to post it in here.

Pokello got oneal's swap and replace right. Her session is kinda interesting to watch though. I like it.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by StateOfMind: 4:05pm On Jul 14, 2013
kosky: The way Melvin chews gum is so unattractive and the haircut is not helping matters. He looks like a bus conductor grin
You guys should stop cracking me up o.. I was just smiling at his haircut all through his session, and then this post? Lmao..
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by StateOfMind: 4:04pm On Jul 14, 2013
Is melvin scared of biggie. his diary session is always more like father to son\boss-employee.. He doesn't look straight into biggie's camera, and he's always never cheerful..

Afam4eva: What about the alcohol, smoking, foul language etc. You're watching the show because you want to see people get wasted and misbehave. Don't play the moral card on me. BBA is a moral bereft show and the theme of this year's edition buttresses that.

I never said that what Bevery or Selly or Betty did is right. All i'm saying is that one should not be surprised at the actions of these young adults because we all know what the show is about. We were not expecting them to come into the house and start preaching Jesus. This is a show where juvenile delinquencies are extolled and it reeks of hypocrisy and gargantuan double standards to be judging others and not ourselves.
For the last time, learn to speak for yourself or ask questions. Also, bba has always been about judging the housemates not viewers. They have put themselves in the position to be judged the moment they signed up to be on the show.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by StateOfMind: 11:58am On Jul 14, 2013
Afam4eva: Pls, why exactly do you watch BBA if you care so much about the values that are been escewed on the show. There are many morally uplifting programs out there but you chose to watch Big brother and you still criticize these housemates for doing what a lot of us was hoping or praying that they do in order to be entertained. Isn't it hypocritical that despite knowing what Big brother program is all about, we still go ahead to watch it and then criticize people who were only doing what they know how to do best.

I also see a double standard and i'm ashamed at the way some of you ladies are trying to bring down the ladies on the show. Bolt slept with Betty but it was Betty that was called a slut, Nando slept with Selly and it's Selly that lose not nando. Now beverly is being criticized but know one has said anything about the guy, as if she was self-servicing.
What a lot of you hope and pray for to be entertained is to watch housemates have random unprotected sexx in the house? Okay, I think I get why you all don't see anything bad in what bev did. She denied you the kind of entertainment you looking for on bba. I don't have a problem with what bolt and betty did. People hardly condemned betty on this thread because she was having sexx, she was criticised for being mute and inactive.. I'm sure you also read the venom people poured on nando too so don't make it seem like women are bringing down women. Get your facts right..If angelo were to be a fan of mine\a country mate like beverly, my anger would have been directed towards him.

Btw, weren't you the one that was feeling pity for ofunneka's hubby for marrying her despite what happend on bba? Always speaking with both sides of your mouth..

Ps - I'm no longer surprised anti bba peeps think what every bba fan watches on bba is intimacy. If bba was only about random people having sexx, I sure wouldn't be caught watching the show.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by StateOfMind: 10:48am On Jul 14, 2013
What kind of jelling is this on ice queen...or is this how they did it before the wig was placed on her last week?undecided

Pokello is a customer to these hairdressers..

*okay, I can see cleo's wig being tonged now..I wan fear before*
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by StateOfMind: 10:09am On Jul 14, 2013
Afam4eva: The things we see on BBA happen everyday in real life, so i don't know why what goes on there should be a big deal. The people that are criticizing Beverly do worse than she has done in their everyday lives yet they think they have the moral justification to criticize her. Atleast she's real to herself and not pretending to be what she's not. When looking at how Africa has fallen, it's not by looking at things that are done in the open but about those things are don and considered to be Un-African.
You guys can pass across your point without the assumption that people criticising beverly do worse in real life. If you do so, put it down in writing, but don't go saying people who have been criticising her do worse. We all are not perfect, agreed, but each individual has limits. There is nothing real in what she did last night, it was simply lack of self-control. Is she the first female to grace the show? This is not even about some other county mocking us, its about the disgrace she could have brought upon herself knowing the kind of society she comes from. If as a fan, she could put me through that, I can imagine her parents\siblings\friends watching that. Let's call a spade a spade, what she did yesterday was bad. She could have had unprotected sexx with that dude last night, someone you can't confirm his health status. The reason I want her home is for her own good, not particularly for the country's image. I want her home before it gets worse cos I really do still like her.

@spade, please could you tone down the insultive words you use on beverly? I know you have never liked her but those words hurt me as an ex-fan, biko.

fork adict: Bros Angelo no be anoda Nando o.

If to say he be anoda Nando coupled with the stAte Bev was in, maybe bev would have been in an emergency response room somewhere in SA with a team of medicos stitching her torn pussssy by now

Beverloooo *in dillish's voice*I still like you and I won't call you names even though you fell my hand me tonight. I have just decided to remove you from my favourite list to save me from more 'tensions' to come.

lighternote: experience has taught me a lot.
exposure has really helped me too.
m a mother of three, m a dynamic career woman,(if I mention my profession, most of u ll b like,"what d hell r u doing here?"wink
m young at less than 30 n m young at heart too ( I feel forever 21, lol) but I ve seen a lot in life. (cos of my profession).
most of my colleagues trash bba believing it's 4 juveniles bt no, I see bba as a reflection of everyday's life even at d hospital, sorry office. d snitching n back biting n eye service n lip service n all that. bla bla bla, what am I sayinghuh
... in all ur bla bla, I WISH PEOPLE WILL BE LESS JUDGEMENTAL, that way, LIFE WILL BE SWEETER. And in d words of my mum, do not expect people to behave like u, they wr NOT brought up by ur parents. Let's enjoy d show.
True though.. And I get where you are coming from. We all expect them to behave in a particular way forgetting we have different upbringing and personalities. It just hurts when you see one of your favourites doing things against your moral\personal beliefs. Its all good *in seydou's voice*.. I no kuku sabi any of them.

Ps- I cant believe bev took me to ransom for almost 10mins. I was shaking terribly and shedding few tears like she was my sister..lol.
